Was Graf Spee ever too strong or popular though? Yes, it has big guns (especially for T6 cruiser) but they're few in number and have a long reload. And it not like mid tier matches were infested with Graf Spee - it wasn't that common to see one. I remember when it, and HMS Nelson, were pulled and I was really surprised.

I now have a vision of @OldschoolGaming_YouTube getting all excited like a 6 year old on evening of Christmas Eve.

It's probably more relevant for the new T8 premium subs as there will always be the "novelty factor" when any new premium ship is released for sale. So an initial spike in the numbers of these premium subs is to be expected. Only time will tell how their popularity will endure.

Given that people have been posting NB screens with different** bonus stars, this is a valid point. ** Apart from the premium subs of course - we all seem to get those. I wonder why?

What is interesting, from the screenies of different clan's NB, is that there are differences. I had assumed bonus stars were the same for every clan and only varied from one week to the next. But, for our NBs it is only the Soviet & IJN premium subs that have double stars. Funny that isn't it?

Also Zoup : Play co-op and operations. Well, who knew? Us PvE crowd were doin' right all along.

Correction - the double stars on PREMIUM submarines, hence the suspicion of P2W. Or at least the thin end of the P2W wedge.

The star for the +50% first win bonus doesn't always get removed from the ship's carousel tile after battle. Might only affect ships that you have just unlocked, eg I unlocked Hawke this morning. XP calculations do correctly only apply the bonus to the first battle though. So this just appears to be a display glitch in not removing the star icon. Screenie below show I have had a victory in Hawke (then some other battles) but you can still see the +50% icon, and even tool-tip it.

Might be a nice idea to specify the specific event currency instead of the generic "Portal Chips" name. I'm not the only one to be confused by this, @gopher31 didn't have much of a clue as to why this deduction was made from his account as well.

Hhhm, is that hull clad in acoustic dampening? Probably another OP premium ship with the gimmick that is cannot be detected by hydro - at all.

... with long range (for T6), pretty good accuracy and nice shell ballistics. And if things do get close range & hairy :- lots of torps. Nurnburg was one of my faves for ops, but as you point out I'm using more T7 premiums (Atlanta, Weimar) or T8s (Cleveland)

Well, I suppose there's no great loss to veteran PvP players who have bought all there is and still have vast amounts of credits or premium time that'll never run out. So, fair dinkum, as they say down under
