This is something many players do not realize. It's not the total amount of raw damage that you inflict. It is the percentage of damage you do to a ship that matters. So 10000 damage done to a little destroyer is worth a lot more BaseXP than the same 10000 damage done to huge juicy battleship.

Personal challenge targets are Base XP and not Total Ship XP The total XP you earn in battle is BaseXP multiplied by various, optional, bonuses +65% Premium account bonus +50% first win of the day bonus expendable XP bonus permanent bonus package clan bonus Hence the 1580 ship XP will have been derived from a lower base XP value which may not be enough to pass the next personal challenge target. To see your Base XP look at the TEAM SCORE tab on the results screen.

As Yedwy pointed out, if you've got reported for no good reason then the best way to handle it is Pffft, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and move on ...

You get a notification if you get reported more than once in a match, apparently.

IIRC even AP has a splash damage area, it's just very small. It's one of the annoying things when trying to take on a sub in an British CL. The only stand-off counter you have are your guns as those ships have no ASW airstrike. And they only fire AP, so less shells actually do damage (direct hits) and there's no side effects like fires.

HE has a significantly larger area for splash damage than AP. You can sometimes disable a DD's rudder or engine without scoring an actual shell hit. Not sure about the splash area for SAP shells though.

So. Much. This. Main reason I've drastically cut down on spending on WoWS. Subs, Nakhimov, super-CVs. And now an even more broken CV, Malta. All are reasons to keep my wallet tightly closed.

I wonder with the Conde salvo what would have happened if he had not zoomed out from binocular mode after firing. Almost looked like the rail-gun bug, but in reverse. Though, I have no idea why altering the camera after firing should have an effect - in both cases.

Yup, I do remember when Italian BBs came out that it was stated SAP would be less effective against DDs. That is a bit surprising. I assumed subs would have the same BB SAP protection as DDs as both have a small HP pool.

Not even, privately, to the guy that got banned? Seems a bit harsh.

Maybe that's the secret to having fun in Italian BBs - play them while absolutely bombed.

Actually I suspect @Nov_A has let the cat out of the bag here (pun intended). I reckon the forum has migrated to Apple servers and image uploading is now only compatible with Mac users.

Shock, horror! A ship that isn't yet two months old doesn't have a complete wiki page. But, you are right. There are pages that are rather skeletal in their content. I'm currently grinding the new-ish French super cruisers and the pages for them are similarly minimal. However, IIRC, the wiki is maintained by volunteers not WG staff, so a poll for that would be kinda pointless.
