So when does your team mate in the Kaggy get a new monitor and keyboard? Because I imagine one was thrown through the other after that match.

I'm no fan of subs, but using an 8 month old YT vid probably isn't the best argument against them. There has been some changes since.

Karma sanity

Losing karma in my first three co-op matches. At this rate, I may as well play CVs or subs.

Only buff CVs should get would be the capability to drop (non-spotting) fighter plane squadrons any where via a right-click on the mini-map.

What made me laugh was the 16.8k ammo resupply cost.

I'm mainly PvE too, though I wish I'd done more of my tech tree grinds in Scenarios where the credit/XP rewards are better - but more challenging to earn. Correct - co-op rewards aren't as great but, on the other hand, there is a 25% credit reduction in service costs and the earnings are reliable. You should be able to make a profit playing premium ships, including the high tier ones, even with a standard (non-premium) account. Where the co-op economy does get harsh are running high tier tech tree ships without a premium account and/or economic bonus. You can make a profit in that situation - but don't bank on it. A good result in a T9 will make a small profit (with no bonus) but you struggle to break even otherwise. It's far wiser to subsidize high tier tech tree grinds by earning credits with a premium ship (instead of selling it) which will also rake in some commander XP & FreeXP as well. What I tended to do for my (numerous) co-op tech tree grinds was save economic bonuses for when I had premium time and then use them on a high tier tech tree ship I did well in. When not running premium I'd then switch to low mid-tier tech tree grinds (where you keep more of the credits you earn) or use premium ships to earn credits, commander XP & FreeXP. I'm in a relatively good spot of having quite a few premium ships, so knocking off all those +50% win bonuses in co-op does (slowly) add up.

There's still some advantages to having premium ship clones - though not many Another +50% first win bonus Another Anniversary / Snowflake reward In the case of your Yoshi & Napoli clones the latter counts for 4 SCs a year. I would say even just those two alone are worth more than the one-off gain of selling a clone for credits which can be ground out instead.

Dunq B - bought via the bundle chain a year or two ago.

A couple of years ago WG did have a scheme where you could rent a premium ship for, IIRC, 250k credits. The ship you got was random (no surprise) but it did make you try something different for a change. Quite useful for newer players. The random drops I got were :- Lenin - Nelson like turret layout with great guns like SinOP. But also like SinOP a quite vulnerable citadel Mutsu - IJN BB with torps. I didn't really get along with that. Monaghan - Oddball T6 US DD that can be built as a torp boat. The latter caught my interest as, at the time, I hadn't got very far along any of the destroyer tech trees. It was one of the first DDs where you had a nice margin for stealth torping. I ended up buying that and it encouraged me to research the DD tech trees. It's a pity WG don't bring this scheme back as a try-before-you-buy could encourage quite a few sales - I really doubt I would have bought Monaghan for example.

In the past, LittleWhiteMouse used to do excellent reviews of premium ships. But, in lieu of that you can still ask on the forum - there are plenty of experienced players here that can offer informed opinions on how good a ship is. You are quite free to do that yourself. No one has to buy a new premium ship when it comes out. Or, at least, wait a while for reviews on it and see if it fits with your play-style.

Probably would be an idea if the forum always discarded formatting from the clipboard. It generally causes more problems than it solves.
