    NEW CODE

Voice over lines could be interesting. A mix of "Ho, ho, ho!" and "Yaarrr, time to plunder some booty!" Or is it a case of "You're on my naughty list. Just who I'm after, welcome to the crew"

    Mecklenburg worth the Steel?

I suppose the another aspect is what other steel ships are available for you?

    Battle Pass in Update 0.11.11

I've no problem with the certificates and crates that you get for free by playing your T10s. But paying to grind out the certs for crates, which contain unknown results, just sounds & feels really sleazy.

    Replay system changed recently?

Sounds like the game crashed before the match ended and the file was written to and renamed (without the "temp" component). If the file is empty, then there's not much you can do.

    Shikishima or Bourgogne for steel

If you can do well in co-op with the tech tree British CLs you'll do fine with Plymouth. Ship & gun handling (and lack of robustness) are similar to Edinburgh & Neptune. One of the reasons I chose Plym was I quite like that class (I'm mainly play PvE) and it was useful in training up my commanders. The only thing that didn't quite fit was when I was training up my Minotaur commander who doesn't have (nor need) the turret traverse skill which is useful on Plymouth. Other commanders, like from Fiji, work fine though.

    Battle Pass in Update 0.11.11

Main reward from the first Battle Pass, T7 Tokachi, was actually fairly good value. Quite a nice little cruiser. But the main reward this time around are, effectively, gambling tokens. Not so much a Battle Pass, but a hard pass from me.

    Shikishima or Bourgogne for steel

Plymouth is my only steel ship (so far) and it does fine in co-op. Great utility (smoke + hydro + radar) and great volume of fire - I've taken 11k chunks out of broadside BBs by firing at the upper belt. Downside is the slow turret traverse and (typical British CL) fragility but the latter adds the risk/reward excitement. I don't see many Austins in co-op, so it hard to say. But in theory it should be suitable.

    Shikishima or Bourgogne for steel

I tend to use Marblehead for that, knowing that the co-op MM will probably mirror the team.

That doesn't happen all the time though. And when it does, it can pay to look around to another flank to see if there's a nice juicy broadside cruiser waiting to be citadelled.

    Gneisenau or Nagato?

I had Mutsu on rental and didn't get along with it in co-op. Yes it has torpedoes but they are forever getting knocked out and should not be relied upon. Scharnhorst on the other hand is great in co-op, you can play it like an oversized heavy cruiser. Fairly quick (30kts), good rudder shift and turrets that can keep up with the turn, one of the shortest BB reloads (20sec), torpedoes and half decent secondaries. Those coupled with a solid armour layout means she's great fun brawling in co-op. I've even circle-strafed Colorado bots in it, running circles around them to out-turn their turrets. Main downside with Scharny is learning what part of a ship to aim at with its smaller calibre AP shells. Gneisenau is fun too, though with the lower volume of fire (less barrels + longer reload) you tend to pick your targets more carefully. Nagato was OK in co-op as well, but has a different play style to the German T7s. A well aimed AP salvo hits like a truck - a much nicer experience from Fuso which I found frustrating in co-op.

    Shikishima or Bourgogne for steel

Depends on your credit situation though. The former will make credits, while the latter will lose them. Especially in co-op, where the few Satsumas I see there don't tend to perform well. From the vibe on the forum, Bourgogne is probably the most likely to be retired. That'll be my pick for this coupon.

    superships MM

Be careful what you wish for. That Izumo at the end of Newport is gonna get upscaled to a Satsuma.

Do we no longer get birthday stuff

Does that explain why it's only a problem on the EU server though? If it was really a technical issue (and not a pile of "technical issue" BS) I would expect it to either fail on all servers or work on all servers.

Do we no longer get birthday stuff

Probably similar "technical issues" that stopped WG just simply selling Missouri in the armoury / premium shop instead of going through a convoluted gambling mechanic.

    That is indeed odd.

    research points

As others have pointed out, the intention is to reset a tech tree line and then grind it out ... again. But once you've gained access to the RB (by researching five tech trees up to T10) you also get a couple of missions per month that reward a small amount of RB points. That's probably where you've got the 1500 from.

Playing Submarine - How to counter Waterbomb aircrafts ?

I thought it was 800m, with the blast radius from carrier auto ASW being significantly larger. It could be 375m for a "direct hit" and 800m for "splash damage". Kind of a shame the wiki doesn't have some actual useful info on depth charges. The best counter is not to give your position away, either by getting detected or by giving a rough idea of where you are by pinging too frequently. Stealth is one of a sub's greatest assets.
