    Problem I have is the top RHS window doesn't unlock as I'm not on Twitch and never saw the bonus code from a stream.

I've seen CVs do well in Killer Whale, typically Ryujo before the ops rework, as they can farm the BB that docked at the jetty and spot and farm the (secondary objective) BBs that spawn at a distance out side the base. In fact one of our clan mates honed his CV skills in ops, rather than be a noob hindrance in Randoms** with them, but again that was pre ops-rework. But, I've not seen CVs in many other ops and, when they are present, they tend to not do well as the OP observes. DDs also seem not that great in ops either. I don't often see them and when present seem to struggle. Only once did I see a DD player do well and that was L. Tarigo, in Narai, when it was still in early access. ** He didn't use Co-op either as that doesn't seem great for CVs either, probably as there's not much time between a bot ship having its AA worn down and being sunk by someone else. Bot ships tend to go with (and use) the default of DefAA, instead of hydro, which will also make life harder for the CV player. Rarely do I see CVs score in the top half and I can count with one hand how many CVs have come top - hint it's usually the really broken ones.

    I used to do OK with Dido in ops. Yes, the reload could be better. Not sure why it's worse than Rahmat's. Actually, Dido's AP isn't to be sniffed at either. I've had some surprisingly good results with it ... in PvE.

    Always seemed a bit odd to me that, out of the two, the RN CL (whose tech tree is AP only) got HE shells.

  9. There could also be an external factor here. This morning, for the first time, I saw two fellow forumites in a few co-op matches this morning. Recently, I've also even seen some players with purple [CLAN] tags too. So, it seems to me, there's a bit of a migration from PvP to co-op and some of those players are going to be quite good.
  10. Some of the disillusionment with grinding may come from what tech tree lines are left for a player to grind. If you've done all the fun ones and the only ones left are the not so great ones then grinding isn't going to be as enjoyable. However, if you're at that point in your WoWS career and you've obtained all the FreeXP ships then you can switch tact. Avoid grinding Italian BBs, Dutch CAs and heavy KM DDs and instead play the ships you actually enjoy. Level up your commanders, save up some credits and (albeit slowly in co-op) accumulate FreeXP to skip the tech tree ships that aren't that enjoyable. Operations can be quite good as a source of credits/commanderXP & FreeXP too. Only tech tree lines (excluding subs & CVs) left for for me are the Italian & heavy KM DDs and the new IJN CLs. I might do some grinding on the latter, as I quite like CLs, but I suspect those two DD lines will be FreeXP'd. If/when there no other surface ships left to FreeXP over then I might skip through the sub & CV lines for nothing more than a source of snowflakes. There are some of fun ships for co-op are in that range. Nurnburg, Marblehead, Leander, Scharny, Dido, Repulse, Gadjah, Jervis, Helena and not forgetting Atlanta. Even though I've now got over 40 T10s I'll often play mid tier co-op which seems more chilled out than T10. I recently bought back Dallas (as I'd got a few T6 perma bonuses from the Frosty Token crates) and that was a blast too. Although I haven't played it in a while, Gniesenau was pretty fun too. Although I'll often be in the top half the table, it's no where near guaranteed. Bots could run away from you, or as @Purnylla points out, if a really strong ship (like a French turbo DD) spawns next to you there just maybe not much left to shoot at. Sometimes, I'll be just out played.

    Narai healing convoy bot stuck?

    A week or so ago we had pinkie in a Blyskie push Ruan right off its course in operation Hermes. Probably the same degenerate idiot - hopefully there's not more than one. Though that is too many. Probably worth submitting that replay to support.
  13. The previous two (clan vs clan) battles were landslides where the other clan scored zero. Only this week was there something approaching a contest - 62/46 What's the name of the mod? For when it gets added to ModStation.

    Worst tech tree ships on each tier

    As has cropped up a earlier with the Pan Asian CLs some ships that a lot of players don't like in randoms are OK in co-op. Some ships suit certain game modes, others do not. While yet more don't seem to be good in any mode - Kansas, we all seem to be looking at you here. Being a co-op main, some of those mentioned I actually enjoyed. Neptune I quite liked, despite its humongous citadel. I've probably got fairly good memories of the grind to Mino though as I had the Five Epochs camo (with economic bonus) on my Neptune. Hence the grind was pretty easy. Emerald was OK in co-op. As I did the RN CLs quite early on in my WoWS career, it was the tech tree first cruiser I had with a heal. And T6 Normandie I found a big upgrade from the T5, though you do have to work around the turret layout to maximize your fire power. In fact I found T7 Lyon felt a bit ponderous when I first unlocked that. Although that 16 gun broadside never gets old.

    Pan Asian cruisers were fun in co-op. T7 Chumphon used to do OK in Narai too (before T8s were allowed). I'd imagine they'd be tough to play in Randoms though. Haarlem stays vewy, vewy qwiet. That was garbage in co-op. Maybe the airstike is more useful in the ... let's say ... "less dynamic" environment of Randoms.
  18. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to see a next level of ultra-premium battle pass that gives you another 2 ranks of commander levels (requiring 2 million ECXP to promote probably) The skills from those extra ranks would only be active while battle pass is valid.
  19. Given the humongous jump in ECXP to go from 19 to 21, can you imagine how much WG would ask for any higher levels?

    Sadly a ship I don't have. I tended to use cruisers in ops, but I did have a couple of BBs on the list too. Scharny used to be a fave of mine in Narai (speed, rate of fire, secondaries, torps & quite tough). Repulse could do well (back in the day) in some of the T6 ops, Killer Whale & Raptor Rescue (speed, hard hitting shells & accuracy). But like my T6 & 7 cruisers those get rarely used in ops too, nowadays.

    Agreed. In Randoms your team faces an opposing team that is made up of the same numbers and ship tiers & types (sort of). Operations are anything but that. Vastly out numbered Ship types and now tiers are way different to your ship. The latter point can dictate what types of ships are optimal for a given operation. At the moment, the times** I play operations I generally use my Cleveland as that seems to be a good all rounder that can cope with most ops. I hardly take my favourite T6 op ships (Leander, Nurnburg) into battle now. Even T7 Atlanta & Weimar rarely get used there. ** Much less frequently now due to the random operation roster and some ops being either busted (with being uptiered from T6 to T8) or the teams being not a good as they used to be before. That may improve though, as some of it may be an influx of players that aren't familiar with ops and hopefully they'll learn the ropes - hopefully.

    Update 0.11.11 - Bug Reports

    Carol clash missions don't show in the "X MISSIONS IN TOTAL" screen from the PERSONAL SCORE window. Here I scored 25k fire plus a bit of flooding towards 2nd Carol clash mission, but it isn't shown in the extra detail mission window. PERSONAL SCORE showing I had contributed to (at least) one of the Carol Clash missions DETAILED REPORT showing how much fire & flood damage I had inflicted Carol Clash missions showing there's a fire & flood mission in effect (2nd mission) Screen from the 8 MISSIONS IN TOTAL button, not showing any Carol Clash missions - including the one shown in PERSONAL SCORE and the fire & flood mission I'm pretty sure I contributed to.

    Port slots currently at 50% :)

    I found that I could run out of port slots at the start of my WoWS career. I tended to research several tech tree lines at the same time Low tier ships are easy to unlock and cheap to purchase At that time, low tier ships may not have qualified for the mission that rewarded a port slot (T5 or higher) But, as @Ymustihaveaname, stated I just tended to sell the previous tech tree ship when I unlocked a new one. So I've rarely had to buy a port slot (if ever). 225 ships with 6 empty port slots.

    Too many critical errors durring battles today.

    I run WoWS under Steam and it's pretty stable for me. First step would be to disable any and all mods and then check the game's files using Steam Properties -> LOCAL FILES -> Verify Integrity of game files ...
