Example on how you can change the port's frame rate, from @Leo_Apollo11 I found values of maxDockFrameRate below 40 resulted in stuttering when panning the camera around, with a 144Hz display. Above 40 is usable, and at 50 you hardly notice any difference from the default of 75

+1 to WG for this one. Useful for laptop owners where you can be in port without cooking your knees. <renderer> <maxFrameRate> 100 </maxFrameRate> <maxDockFrameRate> 40 </maxDockFrameRate> </renderer> I tried 25 for maxDockFrameRate, on a 144Hz screen, and you could notice the stuttering while panning the camera around. 50 is fine, and 40 is quite usable while providing a significant drop in fan-noise & heat.

*want* Depth charges with 800km blast radius. Obliterate all subs on the map, and all those on the next 4 maps around it.

That is very weird, almost sounds as if you've got corrupted operating system files. You can check by starting up a DOS command prompt as Administrator and then running the sfc /scannow command $> sfc /scannow Beginning system scan. This process will take some time. Beginning verification phase of system scan. Verification 100% complete. Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations. If everything is fine the output should look like above, otherwise it'll attempt to repair the OS files via Windows Update

In battle, the F1 key shows various key bindings. The H key also shows various ranges: main, secondary & AA guns, torps, detection ranges etc.

A chunk of the player base is convinced that guy doesn't know how to do his own job.

First "Shark Amongst the Shrimps" achievement. I've come close to this a few times, but always lost out to a team mate finishing off one of the transports, usually with his secondaries. No signals nor premium time, hence the low credit & XP scores. Just the camo bonuses.

My new favourite class of potato in Narai is the Nagato that sits outside of the harbour attempting to snipe stuff by lobbing shells over the islands. For added garnish, they usually spam quick commands while not doing any of the objectives themselves. They finish the match on full health and bottom of the score board. Meanwhile the transports & T7 CLs have had to tank the damage they are quite capable of deflecting with their armour and absorbing with their larger health pool & heals.

An enhancement for the "Show in Port" feature of the armoury - don't apply port content filters for camouflages so that you can see the actual camo you may be interested in. Eg, here's a screenie of Armory -> French Cruisers -> Cherbourg : Liberation -> Show in Port Which just shows the regular camo when you have the Additional Content -> Special Ships -> Decorative filter enabled.

Good plan using in Narai while it's still a special ship - no retraining costs for Lütjens. I only got the T6 during early access, so had to grind out Prinz Heinrich the old fashioned way. By the time I did it was a regular tech tree ship.

WG doesn't need screenies for that. They can just slurp performance metrics directly from the game server into a spreadsheet.
