    Is this World of Tanks?

It depends on the context really. If your push actually makes sense and wins games for your team then you clearly are in the right. But if you are mindlessly pushing without map awareness, good timing and angling you just feed damage and points to enemy team then yes some people are going to be salty about their experience being ruined by a loss that was avoidable. Also you should play all 3 classes equally to understand the needs of each ship class and how they relate to each other. Complaining to a light cruiser that he should push in the open against multiple BBs clearly betrays a fundamental lack of understanding about game mechanics and begs the player in question to learn said mechanics first before making bold proclamations in the forums. Just my 2 cents really.
  2. Sadly, the carrier rework was made not with the effort to balance it, but rather to give the "not so good" players a way to farm easy damage and kills with an idiot proof concept of just flying a squadron of planes around attacking pretty much anything with relative impunity with no counterplay. I for one have demounted DFAA on most of my cruisers simply because I deem it almost useless for mitigating any damage from CV attacks in most situations and having hydro is more worth the risk now. I don't personally report CVs but I know many who do it. Their reasoning is basically "if you insist on playing that OP class, then at least you will pay with it by not having karma". It's pretty ridiculous as it is since WG is the one the blame for the balance issue and not the players. Apparently some very high ups at WG decided that CV population being low is an issue and in order to keep the CV population up that class needs to be as brutally powerful as it is ingame right now. I guess the spreadsheet says that not enough players are quitting to make them reconsider their stance so I'm afraid a CV nerf/AA buff is not coming anytime soon.

Chat ban system needs fixing. Fast.

I think WG changed their system to be more strict so a lot more words are added to their auto-filter system and the guidelines for bans also much stricter. Luckily I have a sneaky system in place that allows me to give feedback to other players with zero risk of chatban on my account and I have noticed most of the very bad players (sub 47% winrate) are actually not that stupid but simply ignorant ("hey I win almost half my games I'm not that bad!") or stubborn ("dude I have 11 other players in my team but its my fault that I have 42% winrate in a missouri after 300+ battles? I play however I want and you can go **** yourself"). WG also not making favors with no good tutorials how to be effective in a ship class and how to be a good teammate, but that could be their business model to have more ignorant players who need to spend more freexp and doubloons to get the nice stuff so keep them in the dark :D I have also taken to trying to learn communication with just the radio commands including the sarcastic well dones and thank yous to teammates doing their best to ruin the enjoyment for everybody else in the team. I think this is the new normal guys... One of my clanmates is coming off a fresh 14 day chatban which used to be unthinkable not so long ago I think, so watch yourselves.

    Is there XVM for WoWS?

The MMM is definetely more useful for identifying good players especially on the enemy team. I pay attention especially to BBs and divisions that include dds. I like to play aggressive as a cruiser main so I really want to pay attention if some players on the enemy team actually know how to play and punish me for any risky stuff that I'm doing. If that's the case I will play much more conservatively at the beginning instead of going for picks on the enemy dds or other targets of opportunity. Especially with a lot of good enemy players its pretty much hang around until I have enough map info and awareness to position correctly for the mid- and lategame situations. Usually a lot of good enemy players means a steamroll since you usually dont have enough for both teams in one game. Also as a sort of "ghetto unicum" myself I do like to hide my stats since I totally think it helps me get away with things I would not get away with if people knew what I can do with most cruisers (or even DDs/BBs) in this game. I do think MMM is fairly prevalent within the top 10% of the playerbase although most dont want to - understandably - admit that they use it. I would not normally either. If I'm tipping off my team about a unicum dd player on the enemy team I try to be vague like "I know that fletcher from before he is very good watch out :D" or something like that. Most will ignore it but some might focus him a bit harder and maybe that gives the extra 1% chance to win who knows ;) MMM does provide you with information and once you learn to read it and draw the correct conclusions from it like how to make the next play specifically yes it will increase your performance. And also its a huge thing to know that "oh that benson knows how to play and he has map awareness most likely so he will not open himself to a cheap move that works on most potatoes. Or if I want to farm a BB in open water while he is shooting at some angled BB (because he sees no one else), will he turn his guns? Good players will and you can even exploit that to go dark after shooting and dodging just one salvo, so more hp for the friendly team. Just some examples, not the really good examples but I keep those to myself :D Lastly of note is my own clantag which is sort of known by some other players and especially players from most top clans who have seen us in clan battles or recognize some of our better known players so its not like people will assume all the time that I must be some 40% potato that hide his stats like everybody else. I do believe it gives a tiny edge that I can use to make my games slightly more enjoyable to not get ganked on so hard. And yes I think I'm good enough to play most ships to unicum and most cruisers to super unicum level (stats wise) but as soon as people find out with their MMM tools its like I just cannot handle the extra focus and I go back to being a potato again... Or maybe I was always one :P
  5. As the title says, I'm looking for a clan for the benefits of steel and coal bonuses. I will play active and provide as much oil to the coffers as I can. I can also provide a "ghetto unicum" teammate for divs but I like to be more lone wolfing at the moment. I would prefer that both the steel and coal ports were maxed though. You can just send the invites in game and I will join the first clan to meet my requirements. If you need additional info, please feel free to hit me up ingame or forums.
