Doesnt matter, there are a number of people that, in their own words, have uninstalled the game and no longer play that spend most of their time in the forums just to pull the same canned reply. At low tier, your choices are limited and on a BB you have none since cruisers can try to dodge but lack a AA overlap bubble to provide any help to any other ship and forget about DDs as they turn off AA and go off, likely showing how broken they are at low tier. Now it gets better as AA does increase as tiers go up, a T4 CV against T6 cruiser AA isnt going to have much fun and this discrepancy increases, there are a lot of factors involved but defense against air strikes eventually turns into being in a AA blob were its too costly for the CV to attack and they go to spotting or look for isolated targets. There is no magic "AA makes planes go puff", dodging airstrikes also depends a lot on the ship you are, speed, energy and even location on the map and BBs cannot really pull that off. The problem is exacerbated by the Matchmaking system because T4-5 matches should only see 1 CV per side instead of the double CV that exist, you can see the problems with CV balancing as lower tiers teach you nothing on playing a CV as mid-high tier only teach you how to lose, this is caused entirely by WG "balancing act" being centered at high tiers.

Closed test 0.11.2 - changes to Superships, Subs and Hornet (DB 289)
WWDragon replied to YabbaCoe's topic in Development Blog
Sorry to quote you but I want to address this knowing nobody will listen. The reason why performance drops off is because their performance doesnt increase and its not doubling down on the national flavor gimmick that is going to change, another thing is that because there is effectively a +2/-2 subs will ALWAYS have a high chance of underperfoming considering when they find themselves bottom tier they will have a 2 tier difference as other ships will vary, the fact Tier X are performing worst that expected and they should be immune to the the downtired problem pointing there are large problems with the implementation. Also stop trying to make sub vs sub fights a thing, they werent a thing. And the "lifetime" of a class is utterly IRRELEVANT, players are going to ignore submarines because as so well pointed out THEY DONT HAVE A IMPACT ON MATCHES and that is the reason why on average its "excessively high" as players wont prioritize subs and sub players have no means to impact games and default to scout role that they are unexplainable ill-suited for. All you achieve is create a high skill class were 90% of the players will underperform and the ones that perform are kneecapped by mechanics creates to make sure its not only a high skill class but also a high skill ceiling class, pretty much a continuation of the CV rework continued "balance" failures. All that work for a DOA addition to game but then again, the fundamental problem is "is it fun to play" and the answer is no and unlike WG staff its not the job of we, the players to play the game, as long you keep developing the game based on the flawed perception that players are employers all you achieve is adding unpopular ships and classes because by design they have to fall into a percentage of failure. -
No, it didnt. Bots behavior changed as instead of moving in and engage they turned around and make players chase then down, people complained not because they were "smarter" but because they were now programed to make matches last longer, there was no "extra challenge" on having to chase down a bot that is just doing it to waste your time. The whole "bots were smart but WG dumb then down because players are bad" is just Chinese whispers.

Well to be fair, most T10 are fabrications like Hindenburg, at least the Soviet are based on projects were the only ones that stand out for me is Kremlin and the two 10 DDs. Spain cruisers is going to be mostly BS but this is why I very much disagree with then having their own tree.

Not really, Ukraine is a relative modern nation were its historical cultural roots are from the Kievan Rus that ceased to exist due to the Mongols, after that it been ruled over by the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, Austria-Hungary, the Ottoman Empire, and Tsardom of Russia. There was the Cossack Hetmanate but it didnt had sea access. Now there was the Ukrainian People's Republic but lacked a navy (did had a army)and didnt exist long as it was part of the whole Russian Civil War mess, I am not fond of papership to begin but this is moving into the realm of alternative history.

To sum up ... Caveat emptor.

1.They are also SINGLE flight. 2.See 1 3.See 1, also they drop 2 torpedoes with the worst dispersion I see, they have to deal more damage per trop since only 2 are dropped Also lets ignore everything else, such as lack to torpedo bombers besides the A-2, Eagle is better because they keep their torpedo flight and dropped the useless rocket planes instead.

Yes, I mean her ... I blame the Valentine Day Stream. And yes, her gun should count and I do think her gun+chappy gun are the best for her anyway. Also I am aware since I noticed that with Shimakaze, PR ships cannot be LMB like the rest anyway and just LMB by feeding then BPs until they reach some threshold. Edit: I checked and I only did 60 builds that is pretty good, I am trying to stay with above 400 cubes so when Sleepyfox shows up I am ready. -

I been burning mine on last event (for some reason I decided to fully limit break and refit the VTuber), Kron seems strong but also dependent on faction gear? since B/D are still lock you could just level her to 70's and just grind. -

Kiev is points, something I should had remembered when I got Archangelsk. Ended up pulling 2 Kronshtadt, 1 Archangelsk and 2 Volgas (and 2 Hoods) before I did that. -
Will anyone grind/pay for the next Dockyard ship?
WWDragon replied to anonym_ntfKigmJ0k9e's topic in General Discussion
No, that would paying to play worst ships. Premiums should either be sightly altered versions of existing ships based on their history (like Kidd) or considering WG "based on blueprints we unfortunately cannot share (because they dont exist)" should be different that their mainline gimmick, such as a IJN battleship with half turtleback scheme and a secondary focus. The problem with "OP" ships is more of a design problem as well perception and WG unwillingness to shake the meta, -

I do enough for the META fights, I am too weak to consider doing Stronghold and even clearing 5s is a pain in the [edited]in repairing. Its not that I don do then, its more farming is a pain in the [edited]... hell I havent even clear World 10 (even I have 10-3 at safe now, hey! I need coins) and only with ToT I managed to do EX outside a colab. -

I do use the Lab, Tigercat and Ju-87 D-4 but its just a slog that doesnt replace drops outside few instances that are such a grind with RNG that honestly its not worth it, I rather it was a upgrade for rarity of non-standart or hard to find faction gear but instead its equal or worst that you can get from boxes/craft making it redundant. So I am not American so no Bidder. -
We dont know, the C comes from cruiser classification as the V could come from the french voler (to fly).

Remove the hydro from the German BC line or cap the range to 3km WG!!!
WWDragon replied to Yedwy's topic in General Discussion
Learn to dodge originates from DD players during the torpedo soup days. After a while you learn to cut the BS from players lobbying for their "totally not OP, learn to play" ships or classes, problem to me is that WG instead of designing the game is more into PR doing things to appease the playerbase and by that I mean the screeching minorities that are never happy or certain content creators that do the same for clicks. Schlieffen on paper seems fine, maybe the main battery is too high caliber but its a shitty turret with shitty ammo and shitty ballistics because German, maybe 420mm is too much since that is the only thing I think its excessive, the hydro is fine. -

Well maybe even if I doubt Tiger will be in the game, the An Shans at least are WW II ships. After all I-13 is and its a AM class, I-400s are more famous and more capable as Vanguard seems to be in the game ID as there are 3 "empty" ID slots and honestly at this stage unless they bring out the Audacious-class (that technically are WWII carriers) thats about it really since not many WW II RN ships left unless we start going to submarines or antiques like the Revenge class and then there is the question of notability. Of course its its entire up to then, after all we have Noshiro who apparently exists to satisfy people with a pantyhose fetish that is SR and I shouldnt need to go over the Agano-class deficiencies as her war record outside surviving attacks and towing ships had the Battle off Samar were it actually hit something and help sinking USS Gambier Bay that is more we can say about many of the IJN fleet but at the same time, that carrier was basically me playing WoWS and seeing "detected" with the number 5-6 with Yamato finally finishing her off and likely reported sinking a Essex class knowing IJN "combat reporting practices" and then got sunk by CV OP plz remove so its not exactly a stellar legacy. I am honest in saying that Large Cruisers are Ultra Rare considering very few were planned to be build and less were actually launched but I also realize that ship rarity depends on a lot of factors including the ship own popularity, Kronshtadt is a fairly obscure design as they were very incomplete and lack the mysticism of the Sovetsky Soyuz-class with then only really being known among naval enthusiasts (or sovietaboos even if that case, they would more likely going over post war ship designs and far more likely over tanks), its also not as if Manjuu had much to pick ... I still say for UR it was down to either Sovetsky Soyuz (because she is famous enough) or Kronshtadt (because been laid down) as they dont have much choices left. -

Large Cruisers were basically designed to kill heavy cruisers, in many ways they were Fisher battlecruiser concept except they were going to be against Treaty Cruisers and not the Armored Cruisers of WW I, they werent meant to engage anything that could actually hurt then like battleships exactly like Fishers battlecruisers but due to technological advancements they didnt need to be as big as contemporary battleships. And were complete violations of the Washington Naval Treaty so they only really started actual development when it was thrown out, otherwise they would be a utter waste of the battleship limits. They were also a concept made before WWII even if it was just a idea and this is why Project B-65 was of 1941, Alaska were 1940 (and why only 2 were build with rest were cancelled because there were no more enemy cruisers left), Kronshtadt in 1940 and the P-Class in 1937 (that ended up as battlecruisers in 1939 because Germany), they happened because no more limitations and so they could be heavy cruiser killers ... outside the Alaska none ended up being build for several reasons and post war there was no reason to build then as the Washington Naval Treaty was dead so they wouldnt be going against Treaty Heavies, the world as at peace (for now) and more important they had a load of ships from the war that were perfectly fine unless someone was trying to melt their entire naval force because they had nukes now and no more need of conventional forces. The Soviets are a different matter (even Stalingrad project origin dates back to 1942 but it was nothing like the finished project, for one it had torpedo tubes). I think they are UR simply because there were so few of then, you had the 2 Alaskas + 1 scrapped and the 2 incomplete Kronshtadts, rest is PR since they never got off the ground, usually because there was a war going on even if the P-Class was already cancelled in favor of the O-Class. -

Krohnstadt was being build so its a real ship, her rigging shows triple turrets so its the original 305mm and not the 38cm that were brought from Germany ... not that matters (UvH weird rigging). Soyuz having appeared and had a slight redesign is kinda of a sure bet when it comes to Vodka banner, because Call to Arms kinda leaks what builds can we expect due to points, it pointed towards another ToT event, I was down to be either Soyuz or Krohnstadt since those would be the only ones that can qualify for UR. As for Volga, yes ... she is Project 72 that was based on GZ despite that project starting in 1944. -

I got Valentines from Algerie, I did roll to get her. Also next event seem to be NP related since Combat Preparation: Northern Union with XP up for Avrora, Mikasa, Vampire and Pamiat Merkuria, that kinda points towards the Battle of Tsushima/ Russo-Japanese War. -

HMS Glowworm captain, Lieutenant-Commander Roope, was awarded the Victoria Cross for that action, also Admiral Hipper Captain, Hellmuth Heye, wrote to the British using the Red Cross to deliver the letter praising his action.
