WG just "balances" consumables as most ships had radars, even IJN ships had then with Yamato having 3 different types of radars (none were firing control).Iowa in the game doesnt have Radar (Big Mo does) as historically the ships had them.

Auboyneau is a DD captain as his talents are more DD oriented and a gunboat DD at that and honestly, after getting Guépard unlocked via some missions I ... rather NOT play then and Honoré brothers are far cheaper and are more flexible as Auboyneau unique talents are pretty much only going to really work on gunboat DD.

Reguadless the ship is a boring one trick pony, all you do is use bombers and UK bombers is just "reticle targeting" and all for often infuriating results, the ship loadout is barely historical being composed of post-war aircraft that gives it a extra red mark, all of this for a extra fighter patrol consumable. Its spreadsheet balanced, not its well balanced, interesting, historical or fun but something spreadsheet says its fine ... well not really, plane reserves are appalling and that is on top of low squadron numbers just because "high HP airplanes", the whole thing is simply not exactly engaging for anyone.

A lot is wrong with this ship. For starters, Sea Hornets? We talking about a historical ship here ... not some Russian paper ship, she carried the Hornet and not the Sea Hornet and that was post-War, if you wanted to be historical she should had the 1945 loadout of Hellcats and Avengers that yes, they are Americans and that ALONE should been enough to make her unique instead of putting Sea Hornets on it. And then there is what you did to the ship ... no torpedo bombers in World of Warships, I guess they will get handy for all those Tier VIII Operation, oh wait! There arent any and if they did they would need to be something like destroy objects or stationary ships. Serious what the hell?

Yep but old Tripz have a few tricks up her sleeve in the form of her torpedo launchers. I guess you must hate the fact I got Alaska, JB and Kaga as a new player Not I (usually) take then to the wonderful world of Random but they do work just fine in Co-Op for directives and also as trainers, not everyone wants to do PvP with all their ships and Co-Op will teach people a lot how ships perform, even if they can get some bad habits that would get then killed in PvP (since you really start to get paranoid in certain ships types, like DDs get PTSD from anything within 10km that even heads in their direction) they also give a idea on how gunnery, range and armor scheme work, in fact both Massachutes or Tirpitz strengths work far better on Co-Op that in Random as bots are far more welcoming into getting in brawling range that pop smoke and just HE. If he said Atago I would advise against, its a fine ship but you really need to know how it works even in Co-op.

Well yes, I am who the hell even says something "we made this soul crushing grind for the people that have too much of free time"? I found the whole thing unbelievable stupid, its like after everything was done someone decided that no, people have to pay for the ship and instead of just put a price tag at the end they engage on a incredible dishonest way so to claim the ship is free and then try to weasel out in any way instead of admitting that yes, they created a grind so harsh people will rather take the Goriza + 2/3 boosters that even trying it, I mean ... just look at what they ask for the miserable amount of steel on Directory 7, heck look at Directive 4 rewards that is just a harbor slot. If it was a 1/10 of the requirements the Directories would be alright instead they sacrificed the Christmas event so they could "not sell" a Tier X ship, this is what pissed off the community that will not forget about it any time soon, I know they have to pay the bills and no F2P is ever truly *free* but when companies go over mental gymnastics to claim otherwise we end up with such incredible claims only so they can say "its a free ship" as if anyone is that stupid.

They are different ships despite being similar ships, both are fast BB (Georgia is faster) but JB is a typical French design with main battery forward that just unloads 380mm as fast it can were Georgia is more the typical American design of delivering Freedom (in the form of 457mm shells) from the safety of 20km away, she is Massachusetts at Tier IX ... with a Cruiser Speed Booster (not JB speed booster that a BB speed booster), on a Iowa hull with the proposed 457mm guns (that were considered for the Iowa but decided against due to weight considerations not justifying the marginal penetration increase) instead of the actual Iowa rifles making it more or less a improved Iowa as JB is a improved Richelieu with her bag of tricks, even if both can get in and brawl JB is more at catching up BB out of position and hurt then as Georgia is more about pissing people off by firing from range and running away if things get too hot or having to reposition. Also unlike JB that by design have no main battery cover for its rear (because its a manly French BB and if someone got behind her, its beneath her attention), Georgia is the typical paranoid BB that have main gun coverage everywhere and despite being a Massachusetts its also not, the main drive of Georgia is to fire from range like REAL AMERICANS as it have precise guns and trying to brawl in it will not be the best idea, its still a Iowa hull and using her guns at medium range is kinda missing the point.

Thats why I didnt even bothered, all the choices were currency I do not have ... its exclusionary to new players as whatever choice is, its something that is utterly irrelevant to then since they dont have 200k coal or not 1mil FXP to begin.

The economy is uneven, some ships take a credits loss even at co-op and the high tier play is incentivized for credits generation. For new players this can be a issue since unless they open wallet and get a nice Tier 8-9 Premium were they print credits, they might have problems in getting new tier ships. Then again I dont think we want WoT economy since if players can afford modules, ships and all that they are more likely to stay instead of trying to herd everyone into the Premium Shop because they want to sell credits.

You are way too focused on T10, there is nothing special at T10 and I seen players even saying they rather play at lower levels that at high levels ... T10 is just the mythical "end game content" that is ... pretty much the same old with more buttons to press. But I will say this, the game is unwelcoming until T5 because all that is closed behind a T5+ and I suspect that is why most players quit because they have no real sense of the game until then, also its true the grind for tiers is bad because some tech ships are really crappy for new players, a example is New Mexico that sure its T6 but when people get that and FXP is the way it is ... uninstall.exe ...and Premiums dont help because their XP gained is hold ransom, maybe you dont see a problem with that but to me, this devalues low tier Premiums that have to be OP to have any worth since they are entirely useless otherwise.

I too was just set free by the Gorilla ... Honestly I got the Gorilla because I wanted to buy a Shiny Horse anyway so its about the same cost but as I already said, this whole thing is utterly confusing and very hard to keep track because of that stupid timer, in fact the whole thing seem to would worked out fine if the timer was to give the ship at the end with boosters just making you get the ship sooner and I suspect this whole thing was altered in order to squeeze money out of people with FOMO, certainly doesnt leave a good taste on our mouth and it stinks ... also I am never going to do this again and I already seen what looks like more BS with the British Heavy Cruisers ... if that one is true, completely skipping that one.
