Japan had the Type B1, AM Type and the Sentoku Type (I-400,I-401 and I-402). Overall 25 were build (20 Type B1, 2 AM Type and the 3 Sentoku), as much people like go over the I-400 the IJN did had submarines with floatplanes since 1938 when I-15 started being build, you dont need a crystal ball to see the Tier VI, VII and X submarine tree just like I dont need it to see this kind of low effort Karma farming responses.

Neither the Italians or the French and the British most modern battleship "only" had 356mm. This leaves just the Japanese and Americans with 15+ inch guns. However the Germans did made 40.6cm barrels, the 40.6 cm SK C/34 gun intended for the H-39 battleships and they were used in coastal batteries and they build 12 of then, thats 8 more that of the BL 16-inch Mk II intended for the Lion class. 310mm guns was considered only back with the Dunkerques during the Scharnhorst preliminary design, one thing that was consistent with German armament is they keep pushing for bigger and bigger (like 150mm in destroyers) and only reason the Scharnhorsts had 283mm was because at the time they couldnt make 380mm in time so it was a stopgap measure. They would never make a battleship underarmed with 283mm because it would be useful for one thing only, fight cruisers and it would faster, cheaper and more useful to simply design heavy cruisers for that role, not 55,000 tons of useless. -

Hizen followed the USN second BB line with a lot of rifles with a long reload and not being particular accurate but still having IJN dispersion pattern. The problem I have is that they are making a brawler with that hull that is not suitable for engagements at the ranges the secondaries can actually hit anything bigger that a DD and with a raised citadel it means it cannot engage battleships at close range without being deleted. Its a stupid ship because it cannot engage anything properly, cruisers can outrun it and dictate engagement range and battleships going to outgun it at every ranges because the ship doesnt have any actual protection. Hizen with say French armor scheme as a brawler could work as long the citadel is submerged but like this? -

ITS A FREAKING HIZEN! Oh yes, lets have a brawler with a HIGH CITADEL and terrible plating, WTF???? -
Well only Korea started making noise about it after a Korean Footballer deflected his own racism with whatbouthism and since Korea have a stick up their behind about Japan that was enough to becoming a target. I get why they arent fond of Japan considering their history but at the same time ... how many generations have to pass until it becomes what it is, history. Not China because Mao was fond of the ray design and it appears on party posters from his era and so, the design cannot be problematic. Of course dangerhair Twitter nobodies latch on anything but this doesnt have much traction, too busy reeeee about US politics I guess. Oddly enough Taiwan doesnt seem to have a problem, I suspect its part because Taiwan was part of Japan from 1895-1945 and that history is very complicated so their views of Japan are different as well their relationship because they are kinda the closest allies they can have in case the mainland decides to take then back. The Swastika is a different matter because its a modified symbol that is entirely within a specific timeframe with a specific regime, the Kyokujitsu-ki is much older (as in Tokugawa period old) and was first adopted as war flag by the Meiji government, yes its that old ... I am not fond of Iron Cross replacement since you already have the Very High IQ social media uses confusing the two, just proving that like Anime, Social Media was a mistake. Edit: I am aware this is off-topic but then again, the topic is just guys! guys! CV are bad! Reddit Karma farming.

Well since this is new for me I had to roll ... and I got everyone (including 2 extra Trashcans), Chapev just dropped in EX and got Minsk from C3. Still 470 cubes (going after Bristol ended up being a bit of a drain) that aint great but at least its a NP Fleet and its a 5 ship banner. On the other hand ... Polar Penitentiary - 1900 (more actually) Current Furniture Coins - 910 ... Great, and its limited on sale for a week only ... -
I disagree on that since T6 and T7 can be used on Operations and are good for credits, FXP and CXP generation, DoY can be very strong in Narai even is not as great as the German brawlers, Aigle can be a monster on Aegis played right (and with luck on spawns). The game is not or should not be "T10 final destination", there are some good ships at T5-7 like there are bad ones, you dont "win" the game by having T10 or T10 is any indication of "skill". Also I would not recommend a DD to a beginner, especially a high tier one ... BBs are usually more forgiving.

IB moved to papercraft even if there are a lot of Zs and Us left. EU sure because they build a lot of ships, RN also have several ships left but like SE is running short, it kinda depends because sure, you have have Sardegna that have a lot of ships left but this will became a problem eventually. They would simply make event banners with existing ships, in fact I suspect they will eventually do that because there are gaps in collections that get harder to fill (like specifically getting Black Prince) and also they dont run into the same problem as WOWS even if they dont have to worry much about "tiers" as much rarity, they can also expand to WW1 era ships. And yes, I know about the "re-run elite" problem that is a problem but for a lot of players the issue is they cannot get enough cubes to clear banner in all the events, I think they shown something in the Japanese anniversary that most accounts dont even have the Foxes, even if not a problem right now its going to became a problem soon enough. -

Its fine with me. Well they are running out of ships for many factions leading to smaller factions just not having many remaining and using then on a re-run would limit then further for full events. 32 free rolls is nice, the half prices is because its half duration so that evens out even if I wish it was two weeks ... they might have reruns going for 2 weeks and this is just half duration because schedule is tight. And no Bristol for me. Edit: Bristol acquired ... and Yat Sen ... and Tai Yuan. -

Oh, good to remind me of that since I wasnt around last year in AL. Also about port slots, I also wish they raise the base or just make certain ships (META and PR) not taking slots since in some cases (META) its unavoidable. (Also that is were my gems are going, 320 slots) -

Well ... port slots are rough, feels like I am constant with just under 10 open slots. I will likely take Washy but after I clean my mess of a port that depends on drops because I kinda dont want to use purple bullins as I have a lot of ships to LB and refit and not enough of then to just use in rares. -

Yes, also in Scharnhorst case is when the engine is damaged and I am having a tough time recalling the last time I had a damaged engine on a battleship. -

I keep thinking Mogadore is the T10 because of a Soviet T10 DD, I am a bit surprised they didnt add T 47 class ... even if they had 12 torpedo tubes. I did forget about the Swed ships and the Chinese DD. There are more real DDs that cruisers and battleships, even CVs were Midway and Audacious/Eagle are the only real ones ... kinda my point as splinting hairs about "real" ships would leave gaps in all trees and I dont like it when its a argument solely aimed at the Soviets when complete nonsense like the 150mm German DDs get a free pass. -

WWDragon replied to zalman7700's topic in General Discussion
FdG suffers from WG wanting then to be brawling ships so their main gunnery gets screwed over to force people into brawling, this leads to a ship that underperforms in the current meta. Worst is WG usually improves sigma and dispersion when turrets have low barrel count, but not German ships so all you get is 4 barrels unless you want to expose yourself leading to 4 vs 6 of most BBs of the same tier and then we have the ammunition that lacks krupp and speed leading to doing nothing on battleships and overpen on cruisers. And then we have the maneuverability that is terrible and bleeds speed. There is no upside to FdG, even the so called "muh 22 second reload" still have the low barrel, poor dispersion and worst ... the terrible ballistics because "brawling secondaries" that require exposing your armor that wont do much to defend against pens at that range, good on paper and if it exists on a vacuum. The way to play FdG is be utterly useless until a flank collapse and then you can push, you can scare off some players if they dont want to push because your flank is defended by a battleship but she lacks a armored bow like Soviet BBs and have weak deck armor and burns too well so dont think you can tank a flank because you wont. -

Well I have Ning Hai and she along Chang Chun were the only ones I had, I lack Yat Sen so I am at the mercy of the RNG since she isnt on the select tickets. Likely will grab the other DE ships that I am missing from there. I do have about 550 cubes but I dont think I want to spam building hoping to get then from the light pool. -

1. I understand, just that she is very limited due to ... well her planes are too limited and there are better choices equipment wise for CVLs 2. Just its possible even if 3. it was just a joke. 4. I seen that mentioned in Reddit and its relation to the database ID numbers, RN have a gap from 136 to 140 so there are 3 RN BBs/CVs planned that arent released and there is another gaps starting with 152 to 155 (Ayanami) to 159 thats IJN DD list, dont see gaps in the IJN battleship and CV section with Shinano being followed by Akashi and then IB DD ID starting, it doesnt seem that Yamatos were planed to be added to the game, New Jersey was (she is among the EU BB list that have gaps for 3 more BBs in around her ID range). Speaking of that, 5253 is An Shan Retrofit and 5255 is Chang Chun retrofit with the Ning Hai-class retrofits being 5258 and 5259 so whats 5254, 5256 and 5267? (even if that is easy to guess considering their normal ID numbers, I wonder if should try to pull Yat Sen ...) There are some large gaps in retrofit ID numbers but I suspect those numbers been assigned long ago, Pamiat Merkuria is the highest number on the list (normal list have Bristol as the highest). -

Well there is only one Tier X KM cruiser. Actually commissioned only Des Moines and Salem qualify, being build Stalingrad, Kronshtadt and Sevastopol qualify as everything else is more or less project/concept/fiction and this extends to battleships as well (only commissioned is Yamato, Montana was cancelled before being laid), even destroyers were only IJN, USN, RN, RAN, MN and RM have actually commissioned ships at T10. Complaining about Sevastopol existence is absurd, she was being build when Germany, she is a Kronshtadt-class with the "final" form with 380mm guns brought from Germany and not the original planned 305mm that had fallen behind schedule, certainly far more real that Hindenburg. -

Entwurf I/10 was nothing but a concept using Blücher 210mm guns leading to the Panzerschiff, when it comes to napkin ships this is it. Roon is not a P-Class, the only historical part is the guns as WG made the ship up around it based on the Nürnberg-class. Hindenburg is like Roon, the historical part is the guns but instead of the Nürnberg-class they made it based on the Admiral Hipper-class. I could give you Yorck except its a concept design, the others have no basis on reality as Roon is certainly not a P-Class, the P-class were improved Deutschland-class and so meant to be armed with 283 mm guns, not the 203mm drawn by Krupp in 1938 that is another thing wrong with your nonsense, there is no such thing as P-Class "Version 2", the P-Class were cancelled in favor of the O-Class due to the problems with the P-Class design and those had 380mm guns because experiments showed that the smaller gun was "far less effective"than the larger gun. -

Let me help you. Kriegsmarine: Yorck, Yorck and Hindenburg are fake and those are just the tech tree ones. VMF (n Project B-65 ot SN): Zero. Yes, zero because those were projects and both Stalingrad and Sevastopol were being build, heck Stalingrad was even launched, the others were actual plans of Project 66, Project 84, Project 82 and Project MLK-16-130. Now Zao is based on the Circle Six Type A class that is mostly unknown due to Japan destroying documents about it as Yoshimo is a interpretation of Project B-65, that is also Azuma. -

Its dispersion really, something the guns had a problem in reality as well but going from 272m to 175m is absurd ... Bismarck and Tirpitz terrible ballistics is WG forcing the ship into brawling.
