    Dutch Cruisers Part 2

For me: Dutch Cruiser Part 2 actually feels more difficult that the DockYard missions. Not in the least because the introduction of subs into the game has resulted in reality in a massive NERF to the damage opportunities - 3 less surface ships, generally costs more time, and generally a much smaller HP pool (since BB's seem to have disappeared, relatively speaking). Directive 1: The 24 million HP Potential Damage mission was a pain. Thankfully I am potato enough in Ranked that I got most of it done there. Directive 2: A lot depends on ship choices and your fleet composition. If you have a spamming DD in your line-up, the 2100 hit ribbons is fairly easy, even in Co-op. The 40 "Hits to Citadel" or "Caused Flooding" is probably more of a pain. The Commander XP and Free XP missions are easy (in Randoms, Ranked and Operations) if you are willing to fully flag you ship and use the correct camo. Directive 3: 44k Base XP is probably the hardest one.

I was just joking WG !

Where did you get this info from? To what extent do you consider this loot boxes inside lootboxes? Talking about the guaranteed ship container?

Is it worth it going Gold in ranked?

Staying in Bronze, difficult enough for me as it is.

WG code for "We f***** up"

In Random Battles 2 CV's are definitely a problem (T3 and T4 is little fun for that reason).

    General Submarines related discussions

Which basically means that unless you get a perfect drop off - subs need AT LEAST two passes by a DD; which means that if the enemy team pays any attention, subs are unkillable until the very end of the game (since the DD is dead WAY before he can get a 2nd pass off).

Can someone explain to me how 9 depth charge drop hits are NOT sufficient to kill a Subramine that started out with 6700 HP health at about 20-30 meters of depth? You basically need TWO DD runs to get a submarine killed. Which means that if you have a capable enemy, the DD is dead, and the submarine lives. Frankly, idiotic.

Not a fan of the spotting mechanic with subs either: Just about everybody playing the game - and among them many CV mains - consider the spotting mechanic with aircraft (and fighters) for CVs completely broken. Now with subs it is even worse. The ONLY hope you have when playing a DD and you go sub-hunting is that all the enemy ships are either complete idiots or blocked by islands. Otherwise the DD is gone before he/she has killed the ship. Even more so as often it is completely impossible to kill the enemy sub with a full load of depth charges. Solution: CVs and subs UNDERNEATH THE SURFACE do no longer spot for the team, but spot on the minimap. If a sub is on the surface, him spotting for the team might be considered.

    General Submarines related discussions

I have played a couple of games against them, and I do NOT have a positive feeling about it. The presence of subs makes the field feel completely empty: When there are 3 subs, that only leaves 6 surface ships for the whole of a map. That makes for a VERY empty map, and if you are in a NOT ASW ship, then you are done VERY quickly. Example: In Äegir (to get Cruiser damage mission done), with only 6 ships I was effectively done in 5 minutes (as all of the ONLY 6 enemy ships were killed), I spent the next 5 waiting for the surviving bot sub being killed (or found). NO fun at all. Effectively subs are create a hard cap on damage: The presence of subs has as a result that much of the community has decided to play cruisers or DD's. This effectively results in a hard cap on damage for the players involved. Again, NOT a motivating factor for me. Subs unnecessarily lengthen the game: All ships but a single enemy ship killed, and then spending the next 5 minutes looking for that one sub, is - again - NO fun at all. BTW, we did NOT manage to find it. This has the same disastrous effect on game experience as CV's hiding behind islands and in the corner of the map that unnecessarily lengthen games, and effectively mask ROFLstomps from the WG devs (since they have admitted on screen in an official WoWs stream that for them the length of a match is a major factor determining the quality of a match - where the time spent hunting the one submarine or CV masks the fact that the game has effectively been over for minutes, and has needlessly been stretched by 25% or more of the time, with the only one benefitting the CV (since he gets more time to farm damage). Solution: DO NOT reduce the number of surface ships. Create 'as needed' slots (something like slot nr 13 - 15) which is used for submarines and/or CV's (max 1 CV) and can only be filled by them!

    What a coincidence - there's a Huanghe DISCOUNT

For some reason, CB season’s cater to premium ships anyway to a considerable extent, or special ships. And even if not, a lot of people WILL buy premiums, citing CB as an excuse. Sole exception seems to be T10. There have also been T6 seasons before, like the Season of the Graf Spee just last year. The sole reason people now opt for these cruisers - of which Huang He has been on a discount since forever - is because there can be Double CV and Graf Spee is banned.

    On a positive note

Problem then is that you test TWO completely new and different things - submarines and a completely new game mode - in one single test which means you do not test either of them properly. I would not be surprised to see submarines be moved to this mode, eventually.

    D7P looks good to me

Which ones? For all the Dockyards, there had to be some payment outlay. As for the free Premium ships, the only ones I can think of in the past year: Strasbourg Oklahoma

    Heads up people!!!

Has ANY of you actually listened to the CC's who have left? The vast majority of them - including the likes of Flambass, Mr Gibbins, ChaosMachine and Little White Mouse - have EXPLICITLY stated that they want streamers that stay on as a CC AND the likes or Mr Conway, Chrysantos and all the faces you see in stream should be left alone, and NOT be harassed. Because they are NOT the problem, and they themselves are ones catching your abuse and flack for something they have NO responsibility for.

    Heads up people!!!

Yeah, in this current climate, you think you can just quit and have another job the next day? In what kind of reality do you live? ESPECIALLY with the current Covid-mess, that is a risk that is enormous. Mind you, many of these individuals work and live abroad, and them quitting could literally mean they end up homeless.
  14. Sorry to say, but this is an absolute joke. THIS took two days? This is laughable. And I hope you realize that this only adds fuel to the fire.
  15. HAVE YOU EVEN READ what has been posted here before, or what was posted online by LWM and others about the Missouri situation, which SHOWED PARTS OF THE CONVERSATION BETWEEN LWM AND THE DEVS (OR THEIR REPRESENTATIVE)? That conversation CLEARLY shows that WG NEVER had the intention to nerf the credit income for OLD Missouri owners. The Credit Modifier in the hull was NEVER have been even close to 25%, the rise in income was because of the multiplication effect of that modifier in subsequent calculations, with flags and such. The end result - once the correct flat multiplier is there - should be that for a FULLY flagged/camo' d Missouri the earnings would be the same, while for a base Missouri, they would actually be substantially higher! It should end in a BUFF to Missouri credit income. Oh, and for all of those who say the calculations about the modifier should be so easy: If it had been, this community would AGES ago have figured out what the actual multiplier in Missouri is. To my knowledge they have not.

    Wargaming shitstorm reaches outside media

As already stated over and over again, this was NOT supposed to kick off on Friday. Mr G and IIRC Flambass EXPLICITLY said so on Saturday. However, when LWM's conflict with WG escalated to the point of her quitting in Friday, the rest felt that their hand was forced, and they had to quit earlier than intended. Which put people like TCFreer, StatsBloke, Painezor, TigersDen, Killerbin, Conway and Cinnamoroll in an impossible position during the tourney.
  17. There is and WAS never an intention by WG to nerf the Missouri. THAT they publicly stated (IIRC Mr Conway) to the general public, and ALSO in the CC Discord However, they had to come up with a NEW way to keep credit earning levels for OLD Missouri owners to old levels while having credit earnings for NEW Missouri owners at NORMAL levels. LWM ALSO asked them HOW WG intended to make sure these credit earnings for OLD Missouri stayed at old levels. As to be expected, WG messed up the calculations for that mission. A number of CCs, including LWM expected them to mess that up, and LWM started gathering data so she could IMMEDIATELY take action, rather than the 'WG gathers data, then takes action'.

Yuro might have killed the CC program, with love

Definitely - I was merely pointing out that CCs could do very little that was visible to the public about this issue.
  19. A camouflage does NOT work, since as soon as you mount a different camouflage (say Spring Sky for earning +777 Free XP) the credit modifier baked into the old camo (as it previously was in the ship hull) disappears.

Yuro might have killed the CC program, with love

Note that part of the NDA agreement EVERY CC has to adhere to, they are NOT allowed to say anything negative about any fellow CC, etc. etc. So strictly speaking, before iChase left, he could not call out anyone.

  22. I know - but even if for this game everything was identical, you still need a set of data points of things do not scale in a linear way.
  23. Which is nice - the problem is that there is a VERY good chance that the difference in earnings does NOT scale in a linear way, making this only a single data point out of a massive set of data points needed. If things were so simple, LWM would not have needed to ask the help of the whole NA community. And strictly speaking two AFK Co-op games were probably (I would say certainly) not even 100% identical (like for instance the time the battle lasted, the composition of the fleet and so on) - factors that almost certainly WILL impact credit earnings.

Mouse's Criticsm of the CC Program

Ahum, this is a method often preached in Western manager manuals. Look at how the whole financial industry is run, and has been run since the 1980s. It has actually been adopted by WG (and many Russian companies) from the West.
  25. Dutchy_2019

Confirm you will buff Missouri's earnings!

Today Ashkance (a US CC) talked to one of the devs, and yeah, the earnings of Missouri for owners pre 0.10.7 should be restored to pre 0.10.7 levels. This is an actual promise made to the CCs in the CC-discord. This was in fact the actual promise made to LWM, that lead to the whole thing exploding. See my post in the long LWM thread about what Ashkance told about the whole Missouri situation, and how I interpreted what he said.
