1st game of the day and experimental build for Mahan - with IFHE - @tocqueville8 suggestion - it did work :)

I did try it on Farragut and I think Hill at first, it did seem to work, Mahan game from this morning proved that you were right: I had ideal circumstances, after getting rid of Skane I was able to target KGV and after that Kansas on 2 occasions - 2nd time I took almost 30k of him, and still was able to set few fires. I might leave it on either Farragut or Mahan, for different experience ;) Thanks again for the tip, it is a viable build for these DDs

Yeah, I didn't even plan it, it just went smooth - like always when you enjoy it I guess. I like tiers V and VI, especially when are not uptiered like in this case.

I really enjoyed it, ranked out in like 2 days, no problem. And mainly played cruisers, that was fun. This was the first time in ages I played until I ranked out rather than just to collect steal and leave it at that.

@T0byJug in Harbin in tier X battle That was not an easy win, thanks for support - I had a monster game in DesMo and record XP: I remember our last standing was Saipan against 3 reds, he was not a very good player but by surviving he gave us a victory on points :) Nice to see you in battle, chapeau bas!

@RAYvenMP in new S-189 submarine, I gather you were testing - did not go too well... I had 18 defend ribbons and over 2 mil potential damage, not a lucky day for me. This was the first game today where I have seen any subs. Fair seas captain

Why Marble? She has shorter range? I have a blast in Omaha, great fun :) And I thought IFHE is not a thing anymore? Free respec now, worth a try OP - why not try all of them? I find Furtaka very strong, Kirov is great cit-fun, Omaha is creazy fun, did not try many DDs yet but I bet Sirocco is very strong, I like her, I like Podvoisky as well, charging BBs head on never gets old :) BBs - a chance to embrace no-AA ships, like Agincourt or Rio, or VU - great boat for tier V only games.

I was never anywhere near decent in brit CLs, long time ago after grinding to Fiji that I knew is good - and failing miserably in her when I finally got there, I decided to leave the line where it was (researched Edi) and come back to it when I get a bit better. As my coffers are empty after spending all my resources on researched but not yet bought tier Xs to get SCs, and finishing grinding for festive rewards as well as Dockyard, I can focus on other things that were lingering for a long time and I had no time for - like brit CLs. I dusted Fiji off and this is my first game - a bit lucky, as I was not careful enough and New Mex almost dev struck me mid game, but I made it and had a nice game overall. I like Fiji's handling so much more than Belfast's, although the latter is so much more versatile due to better concealment, radar and HE. I will try to improve with Fiji first before acquiring Edinburgh, I need to restock my silver anyway. Kraken for the beginning is a good encouragement :)

Out of 32 SCs, happy with steel and coal, shame no more dubs, I burned mine on sequential bundles (but I got Z-44 and Brandenburg).

I have been on Blyska few times, in Kolobrzeg on ORP Wladyslawowo and ORP Fala (but these are post war designs), visited Portsmouth few years back (I had a glimpse of new Prince of Wales there), Georgios Averoff and Velos, Belfast I have seen many times in London but never had time to visit (a big regret of mine), earlier this year I was going to visit Cavalier, but got sun burns so severe that I couldn't walk... In Birkenhead there is rusted U-boat exhibition, the hull divided on few parts to see what is inside, I think that's it. I would love to visit US battlewagons some day... And Mikasa. Eh...

This was my first fully grinded (from tier 1) line, and I regrinded it for RB one time as well, enjoyed it throughout, but as mentioned earlier torp damage is anemic, and one have to be aware of lack of smoke. Defo worth to grind, from tier VIII it gets really good, especially in gun department, nicely compliments fast torps with low damage.

I got only 28 tokens after a win as well.

Why? I never played on any other server than EU, is there any difference in player base ... style?

First random game in Haarlem, only with range mod upgrade (I played 2 battles in operations with mixed feelings before that). To my surprise it was a nice game and everything worked - 6 cits in one salvo on Albemarle, 4 fires in one air attack on Kansas and cherry on top - sinking a sub with air attack Looking forward to interesting grind (hopefully).

Italian DDs - one can make them work, but it's such a hard work... If stars align you can have a spot on game (like mine here), but they are not very flexible - games with few DDs, radar, hydro, CVs - all have a greater impact than on them than on other DDs. I do like them, as they have a very dynamic style of play, you need to constantly check your position, quick rush forward, destroy DD or spam bigger ships from smoke, torp traps, ambushes and so on. Usually I can have quite an influence on the game due to threat to red DDs, but majority of games end with very low damage output - not good for XP farming I'm afraid.

I had one this morning, 1st more coal turned out to be 1k dubs. Later in the day after finishing twitch mission I got another one - and again 1k dubs. I won't complain if my sc's are stuck on this selection only 😎
