Clearly no one wants to choose one over the other. It's understandable considering how good both ships are. Anyways this isn't a democracy. The choice is yours to make. Maybe you can get them both, the big decision is which one you'll choose first.

I remember wanting an Azuma for so long and then I heard about a Tier X version that came with customizable 20km torps. It was the easiest choice I made.

I often forget that Azuma exists haha! I don't own the Salem/DM but I do own the Wooster and their arcs are high -- which means they can comfortably fire from behind islands without revealing themselves. You don't move around a lot when you're on a Salem. I'd suggest you grind the US Heavy cruiser line and see if it fits your playstyle -- if it does then youve got youself a DM (a better Salem) -- if not then you be saving 240K coal on a ship you won't like.

WoWS Bots in a nutshell

I have them both, Yoshino HE is one of the best in the game, consistent dmg. It comes with deadly torps but eats dmg from any angle due to insufficient armor for a ship that long, Moskva's AP can easily kill cruisers and has 12 km radar that DDs hate. Oh, and sailing broadside is suicide. I brought Moskva yesterday, I couldn't believe how easy it can citadel cruisers, even most BBs struggle at that but she does it well! That said, both cruisers offer a unique playstyle and are equally strong on their own terms.

If I had 1M Free XP, I would reset the worst line I have played for RB points

I was so excited when I saw a Ragnarok behind an island and to my disappointment, it turned out to be an amagi with a fancy makeover.

I just previewed how my Yamato looks with a coat of steel...and it's silly. I already have the K117 and Kobayashi (with a pretty bow on the superstructure ) camos so I've decided to let it hibernate for a lightyear until steel accumulates.

Halland - <NA> Smaland - <NA> Friesland - One of the best spammers I have ever played. Offers a somewhat relaxed playstyle due to moderate top speed and long smoke duration....which makes contesting caps easier. It also has the best dual-purpose guns and USN cruiser-like AA for a DD Daring - A very stealthy gunboat with fast reload and hydro, unlike other nations, British DDs can individually fire torps which can come in handy when you run into a bow tanking BB. Cons - Low top speed but compensated by sufficient smoke charges that can cover your escape. Grozo - <NA> Kleber - I own the Marceau variant and I got to say, it's not an easy ship to handle. Marceau has floaty Colbert shells but I've heard that Kleber has decent arcs so if you like the hunter playstyle, this is the one for you. The 52~kt top speed is very useful in pursuing enemy CV/DDs. Most forgiving playstyle = German DDs do everything well enough. Leberecht Maass is one of my personal favorites from the tech tree.

It takes a lot of time to load especially after updating to a newer version. Though it's really the Dockyard interface that's annoying me.

I set it to National+, I think it'd be cool if this was a default feature.

Monty begs to differ. A well aimed broadside salvo will send any CL/CA scurrying back to the port

Try getting rudder upgrades and see if it helps...though you can't really hunt CVs and lone BBs until radar ships aren't anywhere in the vicinity...successfully dodging incoming fire can save you and/or annoy your opponent.

Every ship that isn't on Premium shop or sold for doubloons is free. ie. if you've got the time and patience
