Is the Asian DD line obsolete?

YY inherits the same floaty US shell arcs but the ROF can be improved for gunboat playstyle. I built mine for a stealthy hunter playstyle with Smoke. According to wiki, the reload time can be lowered to 2.4s with MBM3 and BFT. I use Torpedo Mod 2 but I don't see the possibility of lowering it below 3s even with MBM3. There are plenty of DDs that could play the role of gunbote better than YY. -

I sold my Wooster legendary mod a long while ago, apparently I'm losing more (precious concealment) in exchange for a longer Radar/hydro duration (not necessary) and AA (which is already good enough even without DFAA) -
I've completed 3/4 directives so far and opened dozens of German CV containers, still no sign of an early access mission.

Radar ships have gotten frustratingly numerous in high tier MM and the enemy Midway is so strong that one attack can decimate a big chunk of your HP and its even worse if it keeps focusing you throughout the match, which forces you to go into hiding to preserve what little HP you have left all while the lone camper at the back resorts to namecalling for not spotting and capping enemy-overrun zones.

It's just like the festive Graf Spee/Odin flag pennants that are shown in port but are removed in battle. I don't know why it does that, it looks really nice

I like Marceau but it's more of a cruiser than a DD, which makes cap contesting harder than others. Although, it can be a very strong hunter-gunboat type when the situation is favorable.

Kawachi, this heap of scrap couldn't land a good hit at point-blank range but I enjoyed playing it for the laughs. Now that I have a 19 pt Yamamoto, I'm curious to see how that's going to impact in battle. -
Possible Bug?! I don't know if WG has noticed this but Siegfriend has no engine sound. Every other cruiser has an audible rattle or a melodious vibrating sound but all I hear on Siegfried is silence as I cut through the crashing waves.

I wanted noobmaster69 for a while but it was already taken (by some duplicate account made with selfish intent) and throwing in an alternate character doesn't interest me. I prefer my screen name that doesn't have numerical or characters re$3mb!ng regular text. How long is a while cause WG is already giving bonuses and premium stuff for returning players who have been dormant. They could probably remove dead sock accounts that have less than 500 battles and haven't been used for over a year. -

Every line has a gimmick so why not. Submarines struggled to land successful hits even with homing torpedoes given how fast and maneuverable ships are EVEN at that tier. It would be a welcome addition to the playstyle if KM DD torpedoes had proximity triggers that could at least deal partial damage to the ship's hull even if it doesn't hit directly. -

Scrapped....at least I hope so. Their playstyle is too bland and uninteresting... a burden on resources that could otherwise be spent on scripting new operations -
Hahahahaha no! Though torpedo bulges on IJN BBs can lower torp damage to a great extent.

Cruisers have rapid-firing guns and BBs have the endurance for a reason. They are meant to work together and support DDs by focusing on enemies that prevent your friendly DD from carrying out their duty...... not have a BB bonfire party 15 km away from the cap zone. Special tip for BBs: You are not fragile and a little bit of damage won't hurt you so push whenever the opportunity arises and contribute to the team.

Penalty for Ships dying in the first 2-3 minutes

There should be penalties 1. For camping in the same spot for more than 3 minutes 2. Being a CV and just dmg farming fat, slow BBs instead of spotting enemy movements 3. For not supporting DDs while they cap 4. For letting others push, spot and die while you change course and farm from behind
