You forgot to add "Do you think anyone from WG gives a F what you think?"

My guess was the forum was only of interest to WG devs from the perspective of the announcing news and products, which is just one section of the forum. As for all the other categories and subcategories, I highly doubt, and as evidence would suggest, that WG give a flying focke about. 99% of the forum are cries and rants, most all fair cries and rants btw, and even most all of their news announcements are met with thumbs downs and rants, so... why would they want this very negative entity running? Instead they can just run something vague on Discord where there's only a few categories such as announcements and gameplay, no subcategories, no player threads and as a result of that any post quickly gets lost in a sea of mishmash topic posts from lots of players all posting over each other in a total clusterfok and of course, most importantly, no negative feedback.

I've had Discord for a few years and can testify that it's crap. It's annoying, clunky, not what I'd consider user friendly, fks about in the background even when you're finished using it. I'm sure a lot can be adjusted in settings and you'll want to go their to show or hide what games you're playing and other intrusive bs like that and ya, personally I'd find this simple forum just easy to use and will not be using Discord for WoWS news, just using the in-game news update and website. Personally I'd like to thank the WG's WoWS forum team who have largely always been helpful, and tolerated our venting and grumpy rants over the years, and of course, cya @forumites

Hi, I remember requesting this almost a year ago and was told it was no problem as we all love flags here in WOWS but to give a little bit of notice in advance to arrange some sort of mission for it, or something to that effect. Well, we are now 21st of July, and the Irish Naval Service anniversary is 1st of September so that should do it hopefully. There's several Irish Navy flags and insignias but personally I'd just like an Irish flag to pop on my ships which Irish navy vessels do actually fly.

Because they couldn't screw the playerbase as hard as they did for resources if it was a T6 ship, and thusly, made a poor DD that would struggle in a DD fight at T5 a T9 ship to purposefully empty the playerbase of some of their resource stocks. Nobody was forced but, ya, it's a torpedo-boat with extremely weak torpedoes and not really enough of them to justify the the pis*-poor guns. Now, if it either had one more torpedo per rack, or sensible came with a torpedo reload consumable for periodical fast reloads, that might have made this beancan a viable albeit high-skill and very situational PvP play, but as it stands it's nothing more than some Asymmetric or some other PvE "bit of fun". Interestingly, if it was a T8 ship, at least it could be played in Ops which might be fun but sadly it's a T9 and that's arguably the worst tier in the game right now.

Ya I'd agree with that. Imho every nation should be covered, regardless of having a navy or even landlocked etc. Why not? It's just a game. We have flags with Transformers, Popcorn, hotlips and all kinds of bs so ya, it's hard to argue against the suggestions of having all nations flags included in this game. I shouldn't even have to repeatedly request this since in this case Ireland is an island nation with big territorial waters and an actual navy(albeit small), so what's the f'ing problem? But like I said, all nations flags should be represented in this game.

So I saw thanks. Not only that but you then have to pay tons of resources in some drain-chain bs too. I felt misled, as though I would get the rather mediocre DD for completing both chains of missions. The skin was an additional 20 million credits too, ouch.

I got the Patrie and Satsuma but tbh prefer to play Bourgo and Shiki.

Russian CV's the best choice for not needing to give a flying F about much of anything. Spam insta-spawn single strike squadrons, rinse and repeat, easy peasy. You could play other CV's too but that might involve a tad more thinking and having to care about lost aircraft. Maybe subs too but I haven't really bothered with those to vouch for their "hands down the pants" playsytle. Just don't play an actual surface "line of sight" combat ship. I know you might have been tricked into thinking this was a ship v ship combat game but no, it's more about aircraft, pining and homo-torpedoes nowadays.

It's lazy me again. Looking for the shortest route to achieving another mission. :) Wondering if hovering about with spotting aircraft might be more fruitful than sneaking about with a DD? It will be completed in a PvE mode.

I don't like the giant Spanish flag sloshed on the side of the hulls with a bucket of cheap B&Q paint. Looks trashy and needs to go imho.

Thanks guys. Ya overall the CV was the better job(I didn't try subs). It's a bit of an unreliable quantity and lottery so far as what teammates and ships they use and enemy use but I used the Malta in Asymmetric to good effect initially but then switched to Co-op which actually proved to be more fruitful for the couple of battles I needed to get over the finish line. The problem with Asymmetric was, as mentioned, the randomness of it. These are usually longish battles and certainly far longer than trashy Co-op, and while that's great if there's lots of big juicy BB's I actually had several "DD only" types of battles where all jokes aside, it was mainly DD's and just a few cruisers or BB's so the spotting assist was pitiful and was a long time. Other battles where there was lots of BB's and I was unlucky enough to get an AFK teammate or total melts that died quickly and couldn't hit a f'ing barn door from the inside lol. I got a bit fed up and bored of that so in the interests of having a bit of fun too while farming spotting assist I bought a Z-44 from the Armory for coal and had good fun spotting and launching lots of torpedoes. Sure, I could have done this with my Shima but I also had a ginormous stack of coal and was looking for a torpedo DD with the fastest possible torpedo reload I could to keep active along with bagging more credits with a T9 premium while doing this mission. It's a fun DD for the mode and I just went with a really fun PVE build for Asymmetric whereby I took skills such as improving torpedo speed and reload speed.

And why even collect art or do anything at all then since we don't live very long which ultimately makes doing anything rather pointless? Maybe sit in a corner, don't eat and wait for this brief waste of time we call life to end? Either way, collecting anything is ultimately a total waste of time so to criticize a person for collecting pixel ships from some position of superiority on account of collecting "real things" because it might last longer than the game does, or because it might be worth money, and money being something that basically sustains this brief waste of time we call life is kinda retarded tbh.

So if we complete both chains of missions we will have enough event tokens to get the DD for free? I've completed one chain and it told me "Journeys End - Congratulations you've successfully completed the Conquest of the Mediterranean Adventure!" but I only have 225 tokens and I need 400 plus I still have a couple of missions on the other chain of the missions to finish yet. So why am I being told it's completed then?

It's a fun mode and great for certain missions where superior longevity and target durability is preferred compared to the dull quickrinse Co-op. Needed to complete a "set on fire or flood" mission and while I could have gone with a cruiser and probably had more fires, I also wanted to have a bit of fun so took the St.V for a burn(pun intended)

As title. There's a "Achieve 23 incapacitations ribbons" missions and this isn't too rare a mission so good to know what ships and tricks you guys use to reel off those ribbons asap. Thanks.
