    5 temporary tokens compared to 8 permanent ones are very difficult for casual players to get their head around. I hope most of them will just ignore all those temporary events instead throwing money at WG due to their ignorance (by WG design)

    Thanks for the detailed explanation. I have given up try to keep up with the constant new contents and temporary currencies WG is dumping into the game each patch. 

     

    If I'm going to spend 100k free xp plus all the time to grind a T8 ship from T7. I'll just free xp it when it's released from early access IF I want tp play that line. 

     

    I'm not going to waste time grinding or spend money on premium BP this patch just to collect a ship I don't play.

    The question is, does playing CV to grief the other CV who grief others considered griefing?

    The problem is the map pool and bad CV players, some maps are too big to make NCs or Amagis with spotterplanes work, some are smaller but have the usual, convenient island in the back. Bad CV players will just reverse, run away, abandon the game, etc. which makes it more complicated and it is just more effective to not play the mode.

    Thanks, back to my original plan of using slingshot Indomitable or Aquila rockets then.

    You yolo and do as much dmg as possible in about 3 mins, if you don't inc the 2 mins to get into range, it's brain dead and fun for me because the action is short and sharp.

    Why is Asymmetric the only mode that have exclusive BB queueing and no other classes, even after WG nerfed the BB xp earning?

    Hard because playing light cruiser feels oppressive when you constantly have 6 out of the 10 bot BB shoot at you everytime you fire your guns, more so when most can overwatch your armour to citadel you not matter how you angle. 

     

    Boring because there is very little tactical positioning to explore as a light cruiser, there is no point going forward and island camping as you would in random. You spend over half the game more focused hiding from BB, including the ones on the other flank 20km away think shooting you is better than your teammate in a BB only 3km away. 

     

    So it's both hard to do well in a light cruiser and boring to fire from max range for over 10 mins. So I'd rather just play 3 co op games to grind out my T9 ships, it's both quicker and more exciting. 

     

    I don't consider this mode a success, unless you want a BB only mode. 

    It is a design failure when only 100 BB are queueing in the waiting screen.

    No thanks, let the co op bots be brain dead for us potatoes, I personally found Asymmetric mode too hard and too boring.

    Some whales justify throwing unlimited money at WG because WG convinced them this is no longer a game, but a hobby. Therefore, there is no limit some people would spend on hobbies, just look at the custom cars and photography enthusiasts. 

     

    But at least those two hobbies involve physical items you own and can't be taken away unilaterally by the seller without your permission.

  10. My Asus ROG Ally handheld gaming PC costs LESS than this SINGLE monthly event in a SINGLE video game for some in-game resources you can't use else where or resell.

     

    I do not wish to judge how other people spend their money, I just hope those who whales this event have a much fatter bank account than me.

    Well, it's always a blast for me to see how many citadels I can get with her. Akizuki is stronger for sure, but an AP build Fen Yang is more fun for me to play in operations. Not sure if it's fun for the div mates have to carry me, but that's nothing new in any ships I sails. 🤣

  12. WG gives enough time to finish all the Battle Pass stages even if you miss a week of playing in a patch cycle. You can always come back tomorrow. At some point you stop play for fun and try to collect in-game pixel dusts if you following down the rabbit hole of WG missions. 

     

    Personally, I have reached a stage in this game I just play when I feel like it and don't even look at the ever increasing avalanche of missions and techtress WG bring out.

    Just look at their history. Only in this patch WG nerfed asymetric battle earning for BB after a week. Of course its nothing to do with WG insist on putting 8 to 10 BB on bot side and have them focus on cruisers no matter the distance. 

     

    In the last asymetric battle, when players were able to grind quicker playing lower tier ships against high tier bots. WG lied they only removing this mode temporarily to adjust. It was not available for the whole patch and WG said not a single word on when the mode will be back in that patch.

    They still tweaking with some minor aspect like plane spotting 4 years on since CV rework.

     

    Wouldn't stop WG shuffling half baked and half finished ideas on to the live server, someone at WG wants constant new features in the game no matter how terrible they are.

    I hope this don't come to live server like this. WG adds features their software and hardware can't handle, so players have to "just dodge"?

     

    WTF, we now having self replicating mines like in Star Trek DS9 in a WW2 ship game?

     

    I hope this don't come to PvE. The last fun mode of this game for me.
