The idea behind 2ndaries was to be able to defend against small surface combatants like torpedo boats / destroyers at close to medium ranges. Increasing the range and reducing available accuracy buffs for the inherently horrible accuracy (as WG chose to implement them, which already defies the purpose) means that 2ndaries won't be able to do their job anymore.

I guess the entire idea behind this "rework" is to close the skillgap, so noobs and veterans have both to start over from scratch and figure out how things are supposed to work from now on, so it will take a bit longer to discourage wallet warrior noobs from playing the game any further because they are getting trashed all over the place.

I am terribly glad that I did neither invest coal into Pommern nor Lütjens, despite having this weird Iron Cross camo in my inventory ever since. So, what can we expect? BBs sitting on opposite map borders and never advancing a single square? Is this the "variety" of playstyle WG wants to be the only viable "variety"?
