had some non bot games might actually be pretty balanced unless low tier brings lots of torp DDs high tier almost never seems to have any DDs so as long as you run when there is radar you can fill the water with so many torps no amount of wasd hacks can save them BBs seem pretty useless as their armor simply cant defend against anything the high tier has and cruisers need actual skill instead of just staying in the zone between spotting range and torp range not the most fun new game mode they added, but its enjoyable for a while

found her really good at annoying BBs to death HE can get pens prettymuch anywhere and meanwhile you can kite and wiggle and her armor is good enough to survive most of what they throw at you that does land and if they dont chase you just grind them down have regularly had games where 4 BBs where chasing me and slowly they where dying, and i wasnt but in cruiser v cruiser or when you need a DD dead quick, she is kindof disappointing not bad, she isnt bad at anything, but she also isnt really great at anything as you kindof need to get past the cruisers and DDs to get into range to annoy BBs

wonder if the green zone will be the dispersion area or the "good enough" area makes a pretty big difference and what about the very tall ships can their superstructure get hit during the bounce

wonder how these are supposed to land how will the damage differ from superstructure hits while they are in the air and underwaterhits while they are in the process of skipping the whole point of the damnbusters was underwater explosions wouldnt mind low damage air hits but high skill floor, dispersion Fing, underwaterhits doing damage anything that actually requires skill from a CV will be a change 3 skips might be overdoing it a bit tho, at that point your dropping outside most aa guess it depends what tier it falls in

my condolences to all the people taking out their expensive ships and joining a team of bots hard to asses balance currently bigger team means more need for cooperation, so i assume the higher tier is better

lets not bring CVs into that calculation thats like rock, paper, scissors, automatic shotgun but yea cruisers still need help spotting DDs but once spotted DDs go down pretty damn quick unless your one of those orbital bombardment cruisers

its almost as if there is some rock paper scissors in the game BBs have no real way to kill a DD with any skill DDs need to run from cruisers and cruisers get to farm BBs

damage per fire is indeed not that high but its constant and never ending its also particularly bad for ships whose entire survivability doesnt rely on armor and instead is invested into extra hp % damage on a ship that survives by having extra hp while already getting penned from many many angles results in sad ships

was tier6 as you need to be above 5 to do missions and im not going to dig trough replays trying to find them, it was a while ago and no they wont be gutted, they will still be great CVs are great at everything, to make them slightly worse at one thing isnt going to ruin them and even with the nerf they are still going to spot cruisers and battleships long before AA its going to change nothing except crying DDs... maybe, everyone needs a hobby -

a while ago there was a mission to get spotting damage in a CV spent 3 games flying around never shooting anything ranked highest in all 3 reward is low but its still significant, unless they nerfed it since -
you ruined peoples fun playing a CV people do what little they can by ruining your mood seems fair to me would be fairer if karma actually did anything and you actually got punished for ruining peoples games CVs get reported, allies and enemies, no exception

half your hits are citadels wtf still think first step in balancing is removing slingshot only when there isnt an exploit to completely ignore enemy AA is it even possible to see if AA needs buffing or not (but who are we kidding it does) edit: oops missed a page, was about zeppelins traumatizing of the entire enemy team -
the pre battle teamview ui available during and after battle the need to memorize every ship is neither fun or engaging pressing tab and checking if something has torpedoes would be nice same as being able to have a closer look at the thing that killed you post battle, will help people learn ships

lots of mandatory flags in the game detonation has the highest concentrated burst of feeling bad out of all of them but constant on fire feels just as bad when you distill its feeling over the course of a game its just as essential, the rng of you feeling it is just far more reliable, trying to force you into acceptance, but it never really happens -

weird, will have to get some russian DDs and test it out -
adding maps with split cap points would have changed the entire event as it would add the possibility of a DD just running in stealth outcapping constantly meaning that BBs wouldnt have showed up to give the brawl event we had (atleast in the required numbers), instead the focus would have been on cruisers and some cruisers would have been a lot better then others in a cruiser v cruiser 3v3 doubt a lot of people would have played a roon in that as it doesnt really shine in cruiser v cruiser nor having a radar in case of annoying destroyer it would have stayed unbalanced, just vs another ship as any version of this game is most balanced mode i have seen in this game was the savage mode... until people discovered the ramming flag on the high speed tank ship guess the halloween was also pretty balanced as the balance wasnt determined by the ships but by the lack of morality of the players and instakilling a cruiser that thinks its your ally is always fun

fairly sure thats impossible atleast in savage mode a while ago there was a ship that could catch up to its own torpedoes as far as i observed they will just phase trough without doing anything but i dont have russian DDs so who knows what special little rules they have and about the spotting change that will just mean the ships that cant "just dodge" will become the main target with absolutely no way to defend themselves DDs where the only ones having a (small) chance of keeping themselves safe from fecal rain, lowering detection just means now CVs will spend less time against them and more time bullying the helpless if cruiser and BB aa damage was quadrupled and slingshots bs was removed there might be some hope but as long as you can exploit yourself into permanent invulnerability there is no hope -

if low tiers dont have aa to worry about dont be surprised if people get into t8 without knowing how to dodge flak and then still easily move onto t10 still not needing to worry about aa chasing every cloud in the sky still doesnt change the fact that there is no defense for ships against them and you can fly 6 circles around an american CL using both aa and fighter consumable and still do your drop -

the supposed ap nerf is a joke why is every single bomb dropped on a GK a dead engine dont CVs have enough ways to ruin games without making this already slow and useless ship dead in the water how are bombs dropped from above hitting engines at the bottom of the ship every damn time fix your [you know what word is supposed to be here if you have ever played your own game] game -

loved the game mode sad its over you used to be able to find duels like this in lower ranks but for some stupid reason they added bots to those cluttering the engagement as if they are relevant making you farm their hp for credits instead of just adding a multiplier to compensate for the lack of enemies was also fun to have a game where brawling ships actually had a good time, sure some long range snipers whernt very suited but thats how brawlers feel in 12v12 constant on fire mode and the small centered map actually made it fun to hunt DDs in a BB as there was limited room they could go to win so they couldnt just run of to cap on the other side of the map forcing you to chase your own demise hope something fun gets reintroduced quick as the random matches are making me want to quit again
