Double CVs at tier 8 is a nightmare.
________________Morrison replied to Thracen's topic in General Discussion
How is it more annoying as cv? I can't see how unless you're the tier 6 let's say furious being "helped" by a tier 8 Graf Zeppelin. Graf can do the spotting and cover most distant dds with fighters while you attack the enemy with your tanky planes. -

Soo? You can't ward of incoming shells either if they hit you. Yes you can dance your back off and try to avoid them. But to planes you have atleast a chance to get less incoming damage. -

CVs are fine. They can stay in the game. But it requires skill to use a cv. Yes youre basically unkillable but AA is a censored. You can't just fly over to a ship and fire at it. You'll get shot down unless the ship has weak AA. Its a middle ground. CV mains want a buff, Non cv mains want planes removed. If this same movement goes to subs wg will probably stop adding any historical cvs and submarines. Because players don't like them. Because players don't know how to fend them off. -

It's not bad. If you lack AA make use of allied ships. Especially since most double cv matches I come across are are one T8 cv and one T6. So unless you play mister predictable you won't have that hard of a time especially since smoke exists.* -
Radar still ruining gameplay and WG dont care about it

When you join a match be sure to study the join screen or press tab and check what ships are on the enemy team. Des Moins, Moskva, Stalingrad, Minotaur, Neptune, Dimitri, Baltimore, Buffalo, Atlanta, Alaska, Kronstadt, Black all have radar. If you see any of the previously mentioned ships in the match keep track of their location by pressing alt and checking the minimap for ship names. If any of those are in range of you fire one salvo and go dark again. They'll mostly use their radar. In which here's a 50second period where you should avoid these ships at all costs. -

For real though if I recall correctly from tier 7 and up every ship in the game historically had a radar that could locate ships. So be happy not every ship had one that's active constantly. Yes it ruins stealth game play but you could use the cooldown to your advantage -

Yea, I can kinda see why most players don't want a Newby going around in a Jb, expecting to shoot some boats for fun In a the biggest French battle ship class. I've resisted buying a premium ship till I got the azur lane second wave captains. Which I got when I had one tier six 6 ship Bayern and tier tier seven Myoko . And I only rushed to those ships because I already had their next generation on my na account which I made to play with a friend that stopped playing after we did some tier one matches. Gneissnau I had for sure, myoko I can't remember. My first was jap Lima, 80 cents shop and the higher tier one was Atago. While Atago is strikingly familiar to myoko. The forward torps made me play her less like a rushing fool and a bit more behind the first line. Sure I sucked at playing her. I still do, and rather use Eugen if I had to choose another tier 8 cruiser. But don't regret getting Atago sometimes. -
Graf Zeppelin - An Analysis
________________Morrison replied to Aragathor's topic in General Discussion
Its ap bombs should be better. It's not a line ship. It's a premium ship. The most expensive of its tier at that. Yes it shouldn't be Pay to win, but 46 bux for a ship that wasn't even finished because of the way war went and H. Didn't want to roll more dices than he already did. Kinda eh how to say it nicely unfair. Sure great collection ship and great secondaries. But it's main purpose it can barely fulfill. And no if the secondaries will be nerfed for balancing of the improved ap bombers. I'd petition against it. -

Graf Zeppelin - An Analysis
________________Morrison replied to Aragathor's topic in General Discussion
Just but put your secondary GK captain on Graf Zeppelin, add the secondary modules and flag and gently bum the enemy by appearing. I really want to have a division with a DD that can use smoke, or something with crawling smoke such as Zara, Huanghe or Perth. Since their smoking ability lasts longer just not in one spot. But as any ship you should never be standing still anyways in open waters. -

Low hp pool and an exposed citadel? Sounds like a something only a skilled person can use. -

I don't know which I want as steel ship. Since neither of the coal or steel do I have much, 60k coal and 700 steel. Stalingrad is a monster of a (basically) super cruiser. That and its cool camo you could unlock if you win a ranked seasons or a clan seasons. But Bourgogne is a tier ten Alsace which looked like fun. I'm going to grind to Alsace and Moskva first. And then see which I like. To decide what steel ship I want. And since Moskva has a space camo that shops up every now and then.. -
How much have you captains spent on WoWs?
________________Morrison replied to Camperdown's topic in General Discussion
If they actually would sell coal it would probably be 7,50€ per 5k coal. -

Yea Thunderer is quite new so it won't get booted. But Yoshino has been there for a while. While Smolenks is also new but is Overpowered . And I only have 60k, coal so the chances of getting Smolenks are Smol -

Marketing designs. Either roll the dice or pay the full price. One is random chance and could become a bigger investment, while with the other you get what you want. -
Graf Zeppelin - An Analysis

Something along the lines of push when your team is retreating faster than you can. Cause you're probably gonna die anyways. It's funny how GZ secondaries are the reason most people get the ship (and maybe German fanboys/girls). But really you can't ever use it effectively. Cause GZ detection range with standard provided permanent camo, concealment module, and concealment expert. You're still most likely going to get spotted before your secondaries activate. And then get rained on because you're a bloody cv. I have two now so I can pick what ever style I wanna play. The lost cv who's with the team pushing near the front line in areas with lots of cover. But get screwed over by auto pilot as it makes you poke out just enough from behind an island to get you spotted. But have a swimming chance of beating the ships that are in secondary range 9.4km. Or the standard cv that goes back and forth on the back of the map sending out planes. Though I use Graf more as spotter and airial support shop than an actual damage dealer with the dubious planes. -
Regarding the Enterprise

You'd be surprised how many "DO NOT GET IT SUCKS" Ships I wanted and got. GZ loving it though could use a buff. Roma amazing. Vanguard, starting to become popular again. Prinz Eugen that ap my god. Big old azuma. Worth it. -
I know she's going to be gone for a while. If not for ever. But I really liked the design of Enterprise. But never got around to buying her. Cause she's a CV and when do you play cvs as a cruiser main , pretty much never. I wish I got her when I bought Kaga by accident. But unless she gets balanced. Will we get Yorktown as premium instead with more balanced stats? For those who wanted the Enterprise. But couldn't buy her. But still would like a Yorktown design ship? They can use the base model of Enterprise and add which ever planes Yorktown used. And if they are the same as Enterprise balance them out. And release it. Yes I know that means USA will have 3 Premium cvs. And yes I know, it's just a sister ship / duplicate. But it's not like those aren't abundant on the shop. Murmansk - Marblehead - Marblehead Lima, Boise - Nuevo De Julio, Aurora - Diana - Diana Lima - Oleg, Huanghe - Perth +/- Exeter as simular design.

Regarding the Enterprise

Unlucky, I just depend on my drunk steering for that reason. Hey as player i can directly steer to my location. Autopilot: And on the right you can the next twelve islands we'll go past before we reach our destination -

No no no stop, don't shame the new and improved auto pilot. "you want to turn left? Okay let me take you in a u turn to the right first then in a big circle and then you can reach your destination." Assist pilot is great too. Especially near islands. "I'll warn you about an island, I'll turn you towards the island"
