I got the Hmm. But that means campbeltown can drop . I got it for coal got rid of it as it just didn't fit my play style. For I got like 20 premiums. As I sold kii, Loyang, Emden, Lima tachi, Degrasse, Lazo. As economy is a #####.

So Premium ships are a thing. Unless you're a collector you'll only want a ship that's over powered or strong. Or something that can generate cash like it's no ones business. I was looking around the premium store with my payment card a mile away from me. And then it dawned on me. How good is the Wichita vs its class rivals?! You rarely see it so that would mean it: A sucks, B isn't as loved, C the tech tree ship is better than this. The only heavy cruiser rivals it has on the shop for its tier are: IJN Heavy Cruiser Atago (Alternative color camouflage, unlocks by completing the Yamamoto Isoroku Collection) A Golden oldie, Though not seen as much as Smolenks nowadays when youre uptiered against t10 ships while using a t8. But its one of the premium t8 heavy cruisers you'll see the most. It performs well, has good concealment, allowing it to stealth torpedo a target as a cruiser. It's only the skill cap that really holds it back from being a boat any new player can use. In my and Snoops opinion Atago is worth it. KMS Heavy Cruiser Prinz Eugen (Adler Camouflage, unlocked by buying it in the exterior menu for Prinz Eugen with doubloons) Aha ahahahahha.. It's okay. In most videos of like 2017-2018 this was a premium that was recommended for new players. It has more range than Atago for her main guns. But this ship pretty much can't use her torpedo's without risk. Unless you like fist fighting under 6 km of range. By the way, you'll already be detected if you so desperately want to use your torpedoes. Stick to the main guns and only torpedo if your enemy just happens to pop from behind an island that's right next to you. I approve, Snape approves. What else do I have to say? Oh yea the community mostly says avoid it like the plague. And then there's Wichita. I really have no justification to get the bloody ship. But I was curious if it's any good. Or if you should just get Indianapolis? Which has a better MM pool and thus less frustrations for thee who read this thread and were tempted to get Wichita. Unaware of the poisoness MM that lays in Tier 8 ships grasps.

So SMOLENKS big hype dope ship pretty much out classes colbert. Because of smoke and hydro and torps. Colbert Has the French Rain gimmick. But. Since Smolensk will never face a nerf. Will probably get removed in the next couple updates. So that leaves Colbert for people like me that want a rapid fire ship. But it's locked behind the research Bureau. Which is petty much ptg to earn anything. Unless you're very skilled and have too much free time. And I know Ohio is more loved by people than Colbert, but I was just wondering. Is it worth the time grinding for a semi op hellfire ship or not?

I watch Notser, SLMB, aerroon. And Jingles but he usually does replays. And while I do play wows for fun. I still wanna perform the best I can. To atleast get orange stats. Playing the game for fun is not a justification to not play seriously. If you wanna play wows for fun. Go play coop. Random isn't a "I wanna go Reeeeee" gamemode. Yes you don't have to play super seriously in random, unlike ranked. But since the ranked that matters shows up once in a blue moon. Its more appreciated if you try to be competent in random battles.

I'm wowfully aware your just giving advice and will take it. I'm one the worst below average players with some better matches every now and then. But usually just plain CRAP. I just like playing higher tier ships. Of which some I can play better than others. Kleber > Harugumo Vanguard > Bismarck Around tier 8 I like the game more. But probably should be in tier six. Just wondering if I should get a ship that might get voided, should wg take some weird approach with the spend your money bureau.

Bitter sweet. It's too much of a grind. You should just get the research points by resetting a line. Not having to regrind it. The ships are a nice reward. But it should be used for exclusive perma camos

Both would be the best of all worlds but I only have, 40k coal and 1.5k research points cause I got the free xp thing. To get the tier 9 RU battle ship that I like to call. Soviet Soysauce

Alright good to know. I know Worcester has radar but there isn't much else to compare it to that's in the tech tree then. To get a taste of how it feels. Before free exping away at some thing I wil probably regret.

Would you say it's better or equal to Worcester?

Yea that should get some fix. Or players on that tier should be better informed. But at tier 8 10 I don't see this as much as a problem. You should be well aware at this tier. That if you wanna survive air attacks when you have weak AA ask the friendly cv for a fighter or stick close to any ship with lots of aa. Sure sometimes they still get through and land a shot. But that's a thing you'll have to live with.

Which one should I get? My eyes were focused on Yoshino as its a better Azuma. And I like heavy and super cruisers. But since its just azuma with torps. Is it worth it? It doesn't get a significant increase of health unlike the incoming Puerto Rico. But it has torps and probably the monster range Azuma gets with modules and spotter plane. Then there's Smolenks. Which from the ships I have, I can only compare to Harugumo and Atlanta. Atlanta is fun but since she's a cruiser, she really gives me a headache because of her concealment and base firing range. And since I don't have a light cruiser dedicated captain that's above 10skill points, I can't get the fullest out of her. But I like harugumo with just 12 skill points on her captain. Sure it's speed leaves something to desire compared to Kleber but it's rof is amazing. And there's the Thunderer, which is not really but almost similar to Vanguard. Vanguard I enjoy as well as it's one of the ships I perform better in over all. Mostly because of the heal vanguard has, plus the heal flag it can pretty much restore itself to completely after losing 1/3 of its hp. And yes I know the wiki exists but that doesn't give me any impression I can relate to compared to experiences people share.

So wen you unlock campaigns you get acces to missions. If you finish a whole campaign, you get either Shinome, USA legendary captain or Yamamoto isuroko? I've selected tasks and have been focusing alot on them. But I was wondering. Is the reward ship Shinome worth it.

The one time I was playing GZ I was going with the team. I had enough cover from the abundance of islands. But there was an enemy nearby bb, so I did a torpedo run. Non of them hit the target at all. They did nearly hit the bb infront of me. And then struck me..

Azuma B, Atlanta B, Gascogne B, Vanguard B, Azuma B, because Shadow Lurker camo looks good B varient would be way better. Atlanta B, because we need a non worn looking Black camo on it. Gascogne B, because let the French join the black craze too. Vanguard B, because it would actually need White varient like JBs historical camp. But we'll never get a Permanent White camo except for mods. Also again let the British join the black craze.

Black black wouldn't work though? Since it's a steel ship? Not against it but steel is supposed to be the: allmighty super rare green dope stuff only the best can get their hands on

Yoshino is tempting as a cruiser player. And seeing positions where I tend to find myself the extra torps wouldn't be that bad. But if Smolenks somehow survived being on the Armory for half a year. I'll rethink of getting Smolenks.

What I ment was the way cvs are played is okay to do. I wouldn't mind the RTS coming back. But imo as it is now its okay. If you're a stupid cv all your planes get killed by AA before you even get a salvo off, unless it's a singular ship with Weak AA. If you're a skilled cv player you'll get hits off. Imo cvs are a class which is one of the more rewarding classes if you play them right. Yes you're a bee hive, but the amount of bees you can send out depends on a cooldown if your bees die. And if the hive is killed the bees stop coming out.
