I know we dont gonna get linux support but i know a lot of people who actually wanna play on linux but they dont play because of the pain in the [edited]with wine and other stuff. The steam version of wows with proton(Which we all know just a steroid wine) works great sadly using WGC on linux is a hole mess. Would be nice if devs include a command line option for steam version of wows which is disable the auto steam login a bring back the old email/password login screen so we does need thoose hacky methods to disable auto steam login. And atleast newbies or power users also can play on linux without lutris or any other pain in the [edited]methods.

Please read again what i write. Im not here a "How TO install tutorial" and i dont have any problem. I have 4 dedicated server with linux and a main PC. Im talking from a newbie perspective. To use Lutris you need to setup Wine first(They dont do for you) and there is a lot of Wine version and its a pain to work around. Steam has proton support which is working out the box you are just setup the game and done. The main problem with Steam version of WOWS they use steam account and who has old account they cant login in the steam version without "hacky" method which u need to do every game update. A developer can simply include a command line option which is disable the steam account function and bring back the old login with email and password. Also if you want use WGC launcher PreUpdate function you need to run lutris every time because WGC launcher running inside lutris.

I hoped they give for free. (In free i mean farming like old ARP event) but i lost my hope. Its looks great tho but im not gonna give 1 cent for a copy ship even i have yamato. The biggest sad story is selling tier X ship.
