Well, they are somewhat high velocity, so probably more likely to overpen then, say, American rifles? That said, there are ships with much higher velocity guns at that tier (French, Italian ships), so I don't think the Bismarck is as such much more prone to overpenning than any other T8 BB.

Some more experiences of Asashio. I'm very glad I bought the ship; the torps are frankly insane, although what I find more fun than easily devastating BBs (because it's not that engaging beyond the novelty value) is playing around the limitations of the ship. It feels pretty damn cool to gun down cruisers or other DDs by abusing concealment and looking for opportunities (like when they are low health or busy with something else). Tbh, I feel the torps teach bad habits because of how incredibly easy they are to use with their crazy detection radius, speed, volume, and range, but the rest of the ship is teaching me to be a better DD player due to having to play around those limitations I mentioned earlier.

As background, I have never run into the Tone or Ise, so I have no personal experience of them. This is why I am a little bit nervous when I saw the Ise announced, as just as a concept hybrid CVs sounds like a terrible idea. What are your experiences with torpedo Ise? Does it provide a lot of spotting/unfair easy crossfires like real carriers? What is the net effect when you have both hybrids and real carriers in a match? How much does it change the match dynamic?

Got my first solo warrior - SinOP in ranked. Our team had 2 caps out of 3. Four or five ships left vs me. Two of their ships fed themselves to me one by one (Aoba and Nagato), whereas the rest were unable to overcome my Russian Balans armor while I kited away to a points victory. I'm sure it goes without saying that both teams were, with one or two exceptions, awful awful awful.

Having a manny on side is an omen of defeat, at least unless there’s an fdr on the red side. I dunno if it’s the ship, but most german cv players tend to ignore dds in favour of farming low impact ships on the flanks.

The part where you realise it’s a blatant lie is that WG took suggestions and feedback seriously.
