Your stats are your stats. You can't hide from them just because you might not like them. I don't like my T10 stats but I don't hide from them. They are a stark reminder to me that I was a whale. Although in saying that i've just started working on them this week :) Talking of which I rushed to T10 in my early days buying my way there and I did not have a clue and this was reflected in my 45%WR T10 stats. I've managed to increase that to 50% just in the last fews days of play in a clear reflection of my improved skills affecting my overall WR. I'm still finding my way with some ships and in some I'm better than in others as I expected. I'm still a WAY better DD player than cruiser or BB though. What I read from my own: Kremlin I am slowly slowly getting better, not rushing in anymore and picking my moments for pushing. Smol I still play way too aggressive with my daft IJN DD stealth mindset. I push up, get spotted and get deleted. Venetz I can't make work. Minotaur im improving in now. Al Nevsky although i've won in it I did not contribute damage wise and this needs to improve, guns I found odd. Mosky similar to Al Nevs. Shima is just my go to WR and PR farming beast. Can She get a buff though please? YY no matter what I do I can't make that tub work and it annoys the hell out of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stealth is not far off Shima and torps have better stealth, argg I hate it.. Daring just started so to soon to tell. Puerto is just awful and I hate that tub and probably won't play her again.

You're right. When I started I was over 35 ships shy and didn't realise it would give me all the stuff I didn't want before the nice ones. Then when I realised I was hooked in and kept going LOL. I was then determined to get them. I became the WHALE lol.. But I did get them and I do enjoy playing them..

Purchasing like 100 (can't remember the exact number) xmas crates so I can get 3 ships LOL... Yes those 3 were the last to drop, such is my luck at gambling..

Maybe but I think for the most part if someone comes to a forum to rant or vent what they are actually saying deep down is please show me how to play this ship as im frustrated as all hell with it.. There are exceptions of course.

Probably the funniest thing i've read for a while. I'm certainly NO BB player but even I go to Massa when I want to win and farm some WR and PR.. She is one of the BBs I can make work. However you need to be highly skilled in her because she does not fare well if you yolo in and she doesn't fare well either if you sit back. You have to know when to dance a gentle Waltz in this one and when to turn it into a aggressive Tango. You must be able to read the ebb and flows of a battle so you can position yourself accordingly. When you do this and get it right she is one of the loveliest ships to play and very rewarding..

Statistically I would rather have a good WR player on my team any day of the week.

Hi Guys I am of a mind to try out some of the gun boat DDs in T10 and leave my beloved IJN for a while. Which would you go for please and why.. I'm looking at Halland Smaland Friesland Daring Grozo Kleber Which is the most forgiving as new playstyle for me..

I feel your pain. I play Yugo to just a smidge under Super Unicum and am super confident in her. I LOVE that ship with passion. I play sometimes with smoke and sometimes with TRB. It's a lottery really but it is a joy when I get no CV and tons of gunboat DDs as I can dictate all engagements then and they only ever see me when I want them to. I Jump into Shima and it drops to 56% ish which is not bad but at the same time frustrates me. I can only guess that it is that the meta is so different from 9 to 10 and there are more radars, more noob players etc. Either that or I just need to Git Gud Either way the points I raised for you are how I try and play her..

Perhaps I should go for Daring first as she has smoke and probably not too dissimilar to what I'm used with IJN. Still Fries also has smoke too and Grozo. Hmmm. You need huge amounts of patience with Shima. Stay away from plane lanes Stay out of radar range Pick your moments Don't rush in, your stealth saves you but you lose it fast to an approaching gun boat DD and then your 1km inside his range in less than 10 seconds. So angle in obliquely so you spot him and allow yourself time to adjust. Use your stealth for you and don't allow it to be dictated.. Play your ship and don't listen to BBs. Be patient and don't just throw torps out as they are your main weapon and take ages to reload. Yes your guns are good but it's situational. 12km torps in this meta. Don't fit the F3s as you will overextend trying to get into firing solutions. You can opt for the 9.6km but I don't see the extra 5 knots are worth it to be honest. Points best spent elsewhere. If you're struggling landing torps try 1 spread on the money, one ahead and one behind. Again situational but normally you will land some with that spread. Obviously ambush targets etc and closer targets you can narrow up on that but always good to overlap to allow for slowing or speeding up of your prey. You have got 15 after all so don't get greedy. Plus splash torps might hit something else on their way past as they track out to range.

For me it's Kremlin. It is my nemesis. I can play Bbs at T8 but above that yeah I'm a DD player.

He's not. You're misunderstand his point of view. He is saying that for the first 5000 games a player played to let's say 46% WR. For the next 5000 games he got his act together and now plays to 62%WR So overall his WR is now for arguments sake 49% and rising at a glacial pace! BUT The player now plays consistently to 62% and to all intents and purposes is a 62%WR player. He has improved. He feels this is not accurately reflected though and to a certain point I agree with him. Yes if you deep dive I could see that over the past X days the player is now playing X WR and take that into account and ignore his previous noobness. BUT the overall number is annoying him as he feels he has improved and it's not reflected. Well it is reflected but you get my point. Or am I talking total and utter nonsense which is my bent upon occasion..

I freely admit I find those types of multiple radar games hard. Throw in a CV and it's even harder and i'm running around like a blue arsed fly. I'm a couple percentage points off Super Uni in DDs and if I find this hard god knows what a new player to the DD class must think when he gets to T8 and beyond. Maybe it will calm down but I somehow doubt it because next on the horizon will be subs and you'll just be perma spotted in your little DD and the class will become unplayable, especially IJN which rely on good stealth. At that point ill likely switch to Subs and DDs as a class will be pointless.

Yes I did in the third person. But to be clear my point is that new DD players (and some old ones) will find the amount of multi tasking a DD in the current and evolving meta has to do just too hard to master. They will either Die early Sit back and achieve not much for their team Quit DDs and go play BBs or Cruisers or worse still Cvs We are seeing all three of these behaviours to varying degrees..

You're still missing my point I CAN do it but it gets harder and harder to do the more radar, hydro and planes you add to the game. So a new player will be inclined not to and sit back or indeed not play DD at all as its too hard.
