Hiya Guys Seen you guys in a few of my games and always caught my eye plus I liked your opening post. I'm not sure ill meet your requirements though yet as I'm quite new to the game (sub 800 battles) so I'm still learning and only played a few T10 games and I'm sucking at T9 but can't work out why. I am from a competitive PvP background though as ive played EvE for years in small gang PvP which is very tactical and heavy on comms. I appear to be ok in DD's and I have some BB's that I'm not too bad in. I suck in Cruisers though but I think that's because I try to play them like my DD's. Anyway happy to be considered.. It takes a lot of finesse and patience to play this build as you have to pick your moments and also read the map constantly so you can be where you need to be at the right time. Of course a lot of that is also very dependent on what your team are doing as it is no good getting isolated as you'll get primaried by the cv(s) Its challenging but I like that about playing aggressive. Also I only have 18km guns anyways so I need to get up to at least 15 or less for them to work well so I just go that little bit more to sub 11 :) It's an in yer face kind of ship. Secondary angles are not too bad either to bring all ten to bear and I never use my rear guns at all, well hardly ever.

I run my Massa as a full on secondary build and it seems to work well. This is my current build for her.. PT HA / AR BFT / S MFC / AFT I don't bother with Concealment as I'm always pushing in and always spotted anyways. Currently got a 75% WR on her so something is working right at the moment. I do vary that build around but I am very aggressive with the ship so I can get into secondary range. It's very situational though and I have to pick my moments and places. No point rushing headlong into 5 ships as you'll just die as you get primaried. I try to go central so I can deal secondary damage both sides at the same time. Depends on the map and also where the fleet is going. So much is situational about this build to be honest. It plays out different each game. It is FUN though and that's all I care about. That it's fun to play and makes me smile..

Whats the point? Positive Karma does nothing for you that I can see?

If you have paid to train a captain for a ship for 500 gold and then move him to another ship when you move him back you should not have to pay again as you have already trained him for that ship and paid for the privilege too. Its clearly a money spinner for them.

I play on average most days maybe 4 to 5 battles. Just enough to unwind after the day. 2 hours max really. Weekends not so much as the teams are much worse I have found on weekends. Looking at my stats I average 30 to 40 battles a week ish

You get burnt out doing anything even sex. This game is addictive though as are a lot of games. Just take a break from it, it's not a job. I myself only play 4 or 5 games in the evening to unwind as it is great for switching my mind off from technical stuff I do all day. You cannot think about that and or work when you are thinking about torpedo angles so for me it works well.

Hi Guys Can someone give me some tips on playing Sinop please. Just got her and I'm, well terrible really. Maybe I should just stick with DDs lol

That's excellent and thanks very much for taking the time to write that. I now can see where I have gone wrong. I play it like a DD and push in aggressively and then get out of position, get flanked and deleted. I shall implement what you have written and give it a whirl later tonight.

Having played DDs a bit now and also having tried to YoLo for the glorious CV kill a number of times I can honestly say that I have NEVER managed to sneak up on any CV in this game. I always get spotted at some point and end up in a futile stern chase whilst being mutilated by said CV. I learned my lesson and don't YoLo anymore having learned (the hard way) that it is futile for the most part unless at end game when I'm not really needed elsewhere. PS Where can I get an invisible DD from? Is it in the Amoury or a Premium? I so want this ship..

Hi Guys I don't meet your requirements as yet being a new player. I don't have any T10s yet and have only played 600 battles. Keep me in mind for the future though as I play and learn more please. I am very used to complex PvP and teamplay having come from EvE. Eager to learn and be taught..

You know i thought that too. I have it really small for DD play so i can see better torps and stuff.

I guess OMNI and OM are the most well known. TWA and TTT. SCRUB I see a lot. Don't think any of them would want me LOL..

I was in a very famous one in EvE. I wanted to play solo for a while here to see how good I am on my own. I shall be looking to though but only if they do clan battles as I like competitive pvp to be honest.

Its a long story but I have years of experience in EvE and WOT and I also played WoW a LOT on my bros account before getting my own account so I have had a big headstart with this game type. But yes I'm currently just over 60%WR in randoms.

The funny thing is here that I actually play to Unicum level in all my games so they are judging a book by its cover without turning the page! Still I felt embarrassed in it though even though I know how to play it because I know how to DD in general.

Ill wait till I have a t10 of my own. Ive nearly got Shima and Groz now so not far away.

Ok this is me. I'm new and I wanted to try out ranked. I'm not sure ill go back in to it. Why? 1. I'm penalised immediately by not being able to add camo to the Groz I chose 2. My ship has brackets around it so all other players can see I'm in a rental 3. I have been discouraged in chat immediately upon entering game with various comments basically saying oh god a rental we are going to lose and it's all your fault noob This does not make me feel good about myself. I just wanted to try and have some fun but I am made fun of instead. I think ill stick with randoms..

To be honest I don't bother in any of my DDs as it's a waste of time ive found. I might aswell be on deck with a BB gun for the all the good it does. I spec into more smokes and other more useful stuff and try and keep and eye on where his planes are. Of course if there are two Cvs then it's nigh on impossible to avoid them and you just have to trust to luck and hope he focuses someone else. If they both focus you you're done pretty much especially if they are good at aiming.

You're either on a dream team or a team of total potatoes at the moment it seems. You build for AA and get no CV, you don't build for AA and get two of the damned horrible things. Even if you do build for AA as a DD it appears to make no difference. I might as-well stand on deck with a catapult. I'm new but am already bored and frustrated with it in equal measures. I'm sick of facing planes that I can do nothing about launched from a ship I can't see and or attack. It has total impunity and can do what it likes. It affects MY game from a position of total safety for 90% of the game but I can't affect its game. As a consequence the only thing I can do is report them. So now when I see 4 cvs in my game I report all four for being bad players. Have at you with a bit of karma! Petty I know but there is nothing else you can do as a DD player against two of these things. Well apart from run away to A1 that is.

Ah ok. So just so im clear here. Dynamic Ship flat out side on doing 30kts Time to target 10 secs I am the 10 tic mark on say his first gun turret at water line and thats where my shells will land? Ish

You guys seem to now what you're talking about. Can you explain to me why My Mutsuki is 94%WR and I cant play Mini at all? Is it just because my stat pool is so small it's an anomaly and will improve as I play more games. It's just that I feel full of confidence in Mutsuki but I jump in Mini and I'm terrible and yet they don't look that much different on paper so I don't understand it at all. Bit off topic I know. As to what I like. I seem to like stealth torpy run away playstyle. BUT the caveat here is I also like Leningrad and in that I hunt with RPF and engage a lot.

Well maybe its too much for me then yet and I need to wait till I have more matches at T7 and 8 and 9 although 9 I'm already struggling and I can't get anywhere near 60%WR

I actually like the look of the Groz. I know that looks are not the reason to go for a ship, well not the main reason but I like her. Im also further along that line that IJN anyways so probably a better route for me to go then rather than shima. Plus I have a 19 point captain now from my Leningrad play.
