Operation of saving raptor is back,I thought it would be nice but I was wrong.
The AI ships are not greatly changed,so the problem is,wg seems has never thought about the changes they made on cv,they nerf (or maybe destory)the damage of cvs, which turned not only raptor, but also newport into disaster.
Now the CV CANNOT deal with the AI CV alone, which means there must be a cruiser heading for the hosho at southeast, and in the very next wave, there are two dds.So if it's a team with 1 cv 3bb 2cl and 1dd,there's only 1cl staying with raptor, and he has to deal with 2dd within a quite short time, before they torp raptor to death. And those ships which are good dealing with dds,has always difficulties to live so long,Dallas, nuremburg, shchors, these are always priority target of AI,if they make a mistake, the operation is already lost.
And what's more,in this operation there's everywhere Aoba, and usually they show up together with other ships, making it for CVs even harder or just impossible to attack. And with cleveland goes into t8,the strongest gunpower is removed from t6.
All these means, the firepower of the player team is significantly weaker than the past, but the AI team is not,so now the players can just make no mistakes,or they will lose, and quite fast.
As for Newport, you can still say it's the problem of the players,as most of them just stay in habor and turn themselves in to sitting ducks. But Raptor? No,it's only the problem of design.
