My first impression of this was "Ah, we are supposed to play randoms at tiers with subs, so the blasted things are not only played by noobs and fanboys." No problem to get 4-digit BXP in <T5 randoms, but hey, doesn't count. So I will just be patient, wait for my battlecruisers and give WG the finger.

Die Rede ist von der Reparaturmannschaft, nicht vom Schadensbegrenzungsteam. Die PEF hat 4 davon, die Mackensen nur 3. Da ich meine T6er nur noch in Operationen spiele, ist die PEF für mich klar das bessere Schiff - unendlich viele Schadensbegrenzungsteams und eine Reparaturmannschaft mehr sind in diesem Modus ein immenser Vorteil.

As long as people pay money to play planes and subs, it does not matter to WG if nothing else is played. They will just fill the surface slots with bots.

Yes, and I guess this was obvious for 99% of all literate humans not living in a remote mountain cave, but WG... well, they live in a remote mountain cave in another universe with different laws of physic and historical events.

Which makes me wonder why. Most submarines had guns, and because torpedos were unreliable, expensive and limited, especially the early subs fired more shells than torpedos. Again, when planes became a thing, quite a lot of submarines got AA guns - ranging from MG to AC level. Which is inferior to diving out of sight and harm's way.

If they do malfunction as spectacularly/fatally as in RL... the art department will have to come up with completely new GFX.

Sh*t. Well, I got no issues with playing T4 PVP until Armageddon comes.

WG do not care if the game is balanced, enjoyable or working properly. They care for money. So, if you don't want to quit outright: - Don't give WG money - a paying customer is a happy customer (obvious simpletons spending money even if they are not having fun are not of WG's concern) - Don't play submarines (every game played using a submarine gives WG confirmation that their customers love submarines) - Don't play PVP games where you might face submarines (if the vaaaaaaaast amount of simpletons who love submarines have no human targets to grief, they grow bored and stop playing submarines in PVP).

You got options. Low tiers, operations and special events. Btw which one is the current operation of the week? The Halloween crap makes it hard to tell.
