Developer Bulletin for Update 0.10.10
MementoMori_6030 replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
On the other hand, those ships will probably be sunk within the first 5 minutes by dozens of long-range high-speed underwater guided missiles from turbocharged sci-fi-subs. -

How WG managed to shoot their own feet
MementoMori_6030 replied to Grumpy_Shark's topic in General Discussion
I guess a) as the progression from T6 to T10 is doable even for complete simpletons within a few games, and those kind of players want to play the most OP high tier stuff within their reach, by now most of them have the T10 subs and derp around with those b) as subs hardly yield enough credits for their maintenance cost in high tier coop if you aren't at least decently capable and running premium and signals, the majority of subs should be in PVP modes (griefing bots is not that appealing, either) -

So the reason why you don't just div up with me is a) you hate me and b) you want to spare the T4 population from suffering the combined power of NECRO... -

Don't worry. Once they will become available for purchase with $$$, they will be able to use superdamagecontrolparties with 5 minutes duration and 10 seconds cooldown.- 34 replies

What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?
MementoMori_6030 replied to Hanszeehock's topic in General Discussion
But players who do this are probably not aware of the existence of citadels, ammo types and pretty much everything else. Edit: Tested it. Tachibana can citadel Langley from ca. 5 km with AP, but not with IFHE. The 5 km range is most likely more a requirement due to the mortarish shell arc - which will lead to bouncing if the range is greater - than actual lack of penetrating power. Hermes was impervious to waterline penetration (and I mean ANY penetration, both regular and citadel) at the waterline. Hosho ate normal penetrations. As training rooms limit CV to 3 (technical limitations of training rooms, where did I read that...), Ryan Air and Kosmodrome (probably unavailable due to EA anyway) were not part of the test. All shots were fired at flat broadsides at waterline level. -

Those are not facing CV anyway - but if so, you are probably better off with IFHE. -

DD guns vs. T4 carriers? Sure thing. Haven't had much opportunity to whack a lot of the fantasy RU CV, but if they don't have hidden Slava plates... -

Cycling through my T4 ships after someone invited me into a division. Some victories, some defeats, but fun it was (though the 2x CV pest was as obnoxious as ever). Now THIS was pretty special... a game that was over before the 5 minute mark, and my torps were still running towards the CV. -

Not interested. Not interested. Not interested. Not the top priority when it comes to what the game really needs at the moment. Not interested. It's for suckmariners' eyes only. Not interested. Achievements have become useless. Not the top priority when it comes to what the game really needs at the moment. Not interested. Not interested.- 52 replies

All players who had any permanent camouflage for Moskva on their accounts at the time when Update 0.9.5 was released will receive the Type 20 permanent camouflage for Alexander Nevsky within a week of Update 0.10.9 being released. Those who already have the Type 20 permanent camouflage will receive 5,000 Doubloons as compensation. https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/general-news/upcoming-changes-to-the-tech-tree/

I think training room battles are not counted on the "submarines success" spreadsheet. And I guess the majority of the players would not take submarines into PVP battles if they had the option to test them in training rooms, do a little underwater sightseeing and discover how boring and broken submarines are. Can't have that, comrades. Submarines must look popular.
-
With that name, the cruiser should be lava-proof and laughing at HE.
-
Danny Trejo, please.
-
Maybe, but I looked at the StuG-level turret traverse... no, no, no!

With WG still doing false advertising with Yubari (powerful AA cruiser or smth like that, which is a blatant lie), as a T4 player (thanks, suckmarines!), I feel the occasional urge to punish the twin griefers. Even a 10 point Klaas does the job.
-
Ok, now they need to take care of the Dutch AA bug. I'm still shooting down too few griefers.

WTF Submarines buffed and bugged as hell
MementoMori_6030 replied to RoamingPixel's topic in General Discussion
Every result is converted into a success by default. Well, they failed to spot serious bugs which players found within hours... after months of "testing and QA". WG: Comrade, the submerged part of your hull is not in smoke. Increasing popularity by adapting the mechanics to the limited capabilities of amoebae. Yes, of course. The silent masses love those submarines... according to a couple of forum trolls. -

Well, even this is not an idiot-proof method... and if you try to give them sage advice, they sulk and report you. -
