The difference here is between "naval theatre of war" and "naval battlefield", which is mainly spatial. And as WoWs does not feature 300km x 300km maps, having carriers and submarines present on those small scale maps feels as wrong as Disney's ridiculous attempts of Star Wars movies.

Split the game into a mode for aircraft carriers and submarines, and one for ships that were commonly found on naval battlefields.
