Do you have even a vague idea of the DD : BB ratio in naval history? I give you a hint: It was much higher than in this game, for a multitude of reasons. And not only in Russia.

How about WG just removes chat from game? It is neither necessary nor useful, and those players who use communication for anything beyond banter have other means to accomplish that. Leave the F-key-commands, and nothing else. No more chat => no more chat bans.

Yes, but one would have to look hard at what kind of transactions are made. I, for my part, retreat ever further into the last remaining corners of sanity in that imaginary pub (translates as "low tiers, with ships that existed"), and I am still willing to buy premiums within that particular tier spread (though running out of options, because WG does not really deliver such content any more...). I would even buy permacamos for t1-t5, if there were any. But spending even a dime for the Final Fantasy Crapshow beyond that comfort zone is now totally out of the question. And, of course, as soon as even this comfort zone gets balansed to death, I'm gone for good.

I share that impression. Beyond T5 you will run into more and more fantasy ships and weird mechanics, like island penetrating radar - and an ever increasing number of clueless greenhorns riding high-priced premium ships or revisionists in their blyatmobiles. Fortunately, coop is still fun in contrast to PvP, and I don't mind playing low-mid tiers to earn credits.

I don't mind waiting longer for a match that is enjoyable instead of being fast-forwarded into a CV flotilla hell.

Maybe you find your approach enjoyable, but to me it sounds like serving time in gulag... "working on 15 ships"? Is there a deadline for you to get every single ship? Research 2 or 3 lines at a time, and it's all fun and engaging instead of racing through the tiers under duress. I have never run into credits issues before the high tiers, so discounts on low tier vessels are not that important. The really costly part are the upgrades. Edit: Ok, deep red stats all over... slow down, dude. Master a ship before advancing.

It's a business, and of course they need to make money. No idea how lucrative the game is for them at the moment, but with them introducing mostly fantasy premium ships or vessels of navies I am not interested in nowadays, I am quite simply hard pressed to find anything in the shop that is of interest to me anymore.
