Reminds me of this Supertester in his Fenyang who launched all of his torps at an enemy DD in a brawl and got annihilated in return... sure thing WG employs testers of all skill levels!

Santa crates? ^^ No idea; I was just lucky to get the ship AND the camo from the two free containers you could get for tokens on that side account. The other nine accounts yielded crap, but this one has always been lucky - 3 supercontainers from try your luck per week are kind of normal there.

In fact, in those 10% games where there aren't 2 CV, I just press W, and the aversity of anyone else on both teams to advance in the centre as well as my low detection range enable me to ambush (sic!) oblivious passersby. Else, I can just defend the spawn, another thing that nobody else does, because my teammates jump on lemmingtrains to the flanks - so those pesky DD trying to take the apparently empty spawn rush to their demise. Agincourt is not that common, and especially the average noob grossly underestimates how fast a close range broadside and hail of small guns can wipe out a DD or CL.

And to keep up with the downward spiraling quality of those come-and-go players, who lack experience, dedication and patience, they will have to continue to dumb down the mechanics until they reach toddler level.

I have trained Jack from 10 to 21 points just by playing a T5 ship which is utterly crap except for the epic 2ndaries, so I have to confess to the very same sin.

WG's logic is probably: "Ship X has 1 million games, this popularity proves it's well balanced." That Ship X has the lowest game count in the last 2 years is kindly ignored.

Feels like Farmville players made exodus to WoWs. Point and click meta for the brainless, with dedicated classes for the least skilled of the unskilled...

The problem is not only that it is an expensive Ferrari, but that your racing course is a decrepit potholed mudtrack because the owner refuses to repair and maintain it. So you luxury car is essentially a garage inventory.

I am in the comfortable situation that I do not play for credits, XP, new ships or shiny stats, so there is no incentive for me to play well and/or strive for victory if my "team" annoys me. I am playing torpedo destroyers most of the times. You are correct - almost every game has the stereotypical bunch of BBs playing the cookie game behind an island at least 15 km distant from the enemy, pinging me and a cap zone like it's the only ability they possess, which is probably not too far from the truth. Everytime this happens, I stop my engines. And wait. Until the pinging resumes, intensifies, insults are filling the chat... and I reply: "Give me 5 minutes; I am meditating about the perfect course to that location." After the next ping: "I can't concentrate if you do this, now I have to start over." Who needs karma if he can have fun?
