Genova has fantastic guns. Against all cruisers and some bbs. Excellent strike against dds. Kinda useful torps if you yolo a slow target. But... I agree that she can't take a punch even if you are angled, not a bad ship but difficult to play. Don't have any of the other ships cuz reasons*. * No luck

Today I feel like I'm on a losing streak (I am as it is the weekend) but I'm trying my best to force that feeling back down its hole and win. It's not working that well but I'm determined and I had a few really good games (all losses). Then again I will take a good loss over an unsatisfying win but that's me :)

If yr team moves with a plan and you stay close to AA then I personally don't bother with the dd at that point. Beware that I take notice their movements and wait for an opportunity to isolate him. CVs need their team to be a little smart on how they move to be fully effective (a rarity these past days) but dds need their team even more. Remember you can't outrun a plane but you can make it not worthwhile for a CV to focus on you. How to do it? Don't become the first visible target in a map. Wait or lurk until some other ships is spotted first, it is counterproductive but with a CV in game, you have one too so leave him to do the spotting and survive. A good idea is to ask for fighter escort on that first crucial pass but there only so much squadrons a CV will spare to help you.

Didnt receive reward for final twitch mission, winning battle, score 1250 points while in a division. It didn't acknowledge it

Kitakaze was executed in cold blood with this change, whole IJN gunboat line is now irrelevant and unfun to play. Smallest guns, no fire chance, worst control. A whole historic ship line D E A D. Game slowly drives me away.

you need to be pretty fast to get kills now it is true... but beware of the 'phantom' teams, you may find yrself saddled with teamates that won't press any buttons other than W for reasons :)

The introduction of CVs so heavily has altered the gameplay especially for the casual/average player. He just dont know how to deal with air threat and tries whatever comes handy or not. The results are atrocious. Games are becoming very un-fun almost a chore. I'm not blaming the dds, this is a team matter and it can be addressed as shown by teams featuring several 'experienced players' if all work together. But it is difficult to happen and games deteriorate fast. I don't see a solution and the subs will probably kill whatever is left of fun out of game.

I had six straight losses and called it a day. Quality of teams were so bad, I started rooting for the game to end faster. And it did. 6 games played total mins 37 and something. Do the math

I can get it on the 4rth small pic prob and dis is the most lucky I would be ever, since I never win anything :)

I always fear of losing games. Always. No matter how far ahead in points or ships. It made me change the way I play and I now I try always to stay alive till the very last second if possible to avoid a fak up (or be a part of it lol). I've lost games wit all caps held, 6 ships against 2, cuz team decided to just kill the enemy off and not wait for clock. But I've won games also cuz enemy team can always throw the game away. If enough serious players arent on the mm atm you play, a game can go either way. No guarantees. You can always tell the captains that try desperately to win or to avoid an epic collapse. The rest of the team is usually oblivious and just follows around the leading ship wherever it is going. Watching the map when in a CV and seeing how teams move can tell u all there is to know about how a game will unfold. But not who will win. One good captain is worth at least five imo. And since I dont like 'good' I will just insert here experienced. Cheers :)

Me too/ Also had at least 2 games where a teammate admitted to not giving a sheet about winning. Both suicided, hopefully not for the event since it's over

I'm almost 10 points up in all my reroll accounts but with less ships and nations so maybe that also counts for something. But mostly I agree with wut others said without reading em as I trust fully the community and dis forum

I'd like one more perma campaign but not wit t10 ships only. Something with variance and perhaps involving the newly added nation lines (Russian, Italian etc)

My first target when playing BB is always the Pepsi if its around or spotted. I don't know why but usually I never get to shoot them again as they are ded by the time I reload

Locate the HE spammers. Find a spot where they should move to shoot you again. Dont fire for no reason and don't approach blind. If they pop out of their cave... Shoot em wit prejudice until they explode.
