I'm not having fun. Usually when this happens the game is ded to me and I go elsewhere. It almost pains me to say it

prob, they give nothing prob cuz i dont have wots but so does the others so there is some symmetry here that it is rather nice

Without playing randoms for the bonuses game can get pretty tedious. Playing randoms rn now is like pulling out perfectly healthy teeth one after the other. Combine dis wit the holiday madness and festivities and this whole thing turns into a surrealistic experience. To give example, to get the 2nd (90) kills objective in co op has turned into a crazy steal killing fest that reached otherwordly proportions today. People are shooting each other and torp blind to secure kills. No one is safe haha. Regular co op folk are getting stomped by hordes of pvp savants and vice versa. It's a madhouse.

Pretty decent rant dis :) upvote But to help with question, this rule isn't explained very well for the average player as with many others (you should see what happens in operations, good Lord have mercy). Each team has to make kills and capture objectives (to gain points to mitigate some of the ship losses) since the bot team (and many a times the humans) never play for objectives they run out of points fast. But there are times when humans fail to this regard and you find yrself with the clock ticking down and all the bots honing on ya :) Also nice experience. The torps are launched by DDs sailing outside your scouting range. They are there but you need to approach or use radar (or other consumable depending on ship) or if you have a CV fly a sortie over the suspect area of DD sneaking activity. There is a Captain skill (4 points) that points to the direction of the nearest enemy. If you use it then you know where this 'invisible' targets are and you can be ready to sink them or dodge. Torps can travel a long way Have a nice xmas :)

I have reached ten when playing operations and some ranked. But playing CVs lately promptly brought me down to arctic temperatures again :) that and my ranting of course haha

I thought I'd play during the holidays, but I don't even wanna open the game these days. Since I know me, I'm almost over this and I never thought I will give up on the game completely. It is sad

The reluctance of the players to shoot at DDs is a well observed fact on this server. The reason now I'm afraid is rather more simple. People don't want to miss and while the class has suffered from mediocre gameplay this year there are enough good captains out there that will dodge a couple of good volleys or more. The same goes for the CVs. Hunting down a difficult to hit target amidst a sea of AA cruisers is not pleasant, not if your team isn't firing at the blob. You can kill it, but if you lose even a couple of minutes doing it one of the flanks has collapsed and the team 'usually' gives up. Last couple of games I had teams literally quitting after a couple of lost ships. Another EU problem someone should mention. It happened to all my games almost and I played a lot of them.

As someone said game isn't fun, ships are there, the interest also but the gameplay is not fun. It is not for the average but serious even if somewhat casual at times gamer. It is almost torture to go through even 1 or 2 randoms these days. No fun. I think that sums it up nicely.

A message popped up for claiming compensation for the loggin probs. I did the check, it told me congrats and the message vanished, I didnt receive anything though. Is it April's fool day already? :) PS: It worked in the end and I want to thank WG for the quick fix and reward :)

I'm just getting hammered these days, I need 4+ kills to even fight for victory and having the house in a holiday spirit is not helping. This event has killed random for the average player I think.

It's a premium, a good one cred wise. The economy is unforgiving for the majority of average t10 silver ship users. Without prem account in short, you can't play.

Game froze while changing camos and had to restart. Is it a bug? and if it is, I thought it was thrown out of the code with the fix, so what gives?

Listen while the answers you give him are correct (he gambled and lost) he is right as in the possibility of winning NOTHING at all is not prominently featured in the rules (or at all). This makes it, for the casual gamer/buyer, easy to get duped due to say 'misreading' the fine print. It is something that is frowned upon in EU I believe but still it happens. I take this post as a firm warning.
