I love French bbs but I stopped at Richelieu. Alsace just didn't sit right wit me so this thread is helping some reading people's experience on it

It does it. I think it tries to 'balans' specific ships and inadvertently causes it. (I don't believe it really if I'm honest, but I try to say dis always to try and alleviate some of the playerbase concerns)

Again, I don't disagree with anything you said for the most part. I also feel bad for bringing up numbers (It was a quick look btw so I may have missed something) as I'm not in this category of players and I never claimed I'm gut or anything. The contrary. I'm a casual player. A ship lover. Now if you ask if I can carry a game, then yes I can. I have done it plenty of times. This month too. I win more than I lose in a CV, up to tier VIII. I can do it in some bbs and a couple of dds in other classes. In most I'm just not good enough. I'm not TX material yet for sure. Not even close. Was I talking about that? Nope. Was I bragging? Nope. My post was about the 'non satisfaction' most (the ones in the 47-49% category as u expertly pointed out) players feel when they play. One of the major reasons is the very one-sided games these past months. Not the majority of games are like that probably despite voices to contrary as u say and not everyone has experienced it, but a lot do (and a lot don't write in this forum but in other places) and since it can't be an illusion, it happens Those people don't complain about mm in the sense of why they are losing but mostly on Why They Don't Have Fun even in wins, I think there's something to the argument for the reasons I mention.

Kamikaze, Indy, Black, Lennigrad, Warspite, Georgia, Musachi and Smolensk. You know what? You are right, I'm delighted I got some insight from you about my play. This is the main reason I dont play randoms anymore. I decided I dont want to get mad, so I stopped talking in chat, I dont to have to carry cuz I can't sometimes or it isn't enough and then its tedious to try when others don't and lose yr time and finally I hate winning with roflstomp. More than losing. I enjoy slow, patient gameplay and it has vanished. I like thoughtful plays even if I'm on the other side of them. I like CVs and I don't blame the dds. People do what they can most of the time. The problem lies in the mm (wrong placing of divisions, uneven radars or spotting ships, weird placement of situationally OP ships in one team, unethical team line ups of absolute fresh players (400-500 games) against experienced gurus) and the majority have realized it and given up. They just do their personal objectives and log out. I'm not talking about skill. It has nothing to do wit it and it is irrelevant. The majority of the playerbase (over 80 %) is under the 50% mark. I dont know specifically the numbers but judging from the prescreen line up it seems that way. Can it be avoided? I really don't know. But if you press play battle and you get shocked into despair at the line ups it is unlikely to put much effort in. Usually ingame chat will tell u that. Remember for every mocked hard fool that voices his dismay, there are at least half a dozen that don't but feel exactly the same way. Cheers :)

i dont know wut the new upgrades do and its very troublesome to shift through all the explanations. Only one I like is the turret traverse but after some quick prob I decided not to use it

These were the times... Later in the day, back from work... Too bored for randoms, too bored for co op but hey... what do you know! missions got updated... it is 'good op' time. When ships of all types were tested in a demanding environment. One strong flank, one weak but wit a twist. You pick your poison, dont forget the middle. One look at the team and you knew. So many familiar silhouettes out there. The loyal Gneisenau sisters, the angry Lyon, the rarely sighted Blyskavitsa. What fantastic memories. The new lads. The pesky Zara and the unhappy Gorizia. The yolo Yorck and the 'I punch above my weight' Myoko. Oh that crazy reliably unreliable but always heroic Atlanta. I've seen miracles. 289k dmg, 12 kills solo epics. 278k dmg, 11 kills total last second collapses. Defeats that will boggle the mind and kill your soul. Thrice breaking a gut mouse cuz... reasons. but mostly the howl of victory when you win cuz the guy that went to save a fail, from the transports end of the map to the other edge, has caught the cv, sunk it and then rushed back to shoot a hail mary... outside the bowl, over the cliffs, boom goes the Colorado that just deleted you. You will never be forgotten. Thank you.
