different people, different goals and values, I've encountered it in my first game and in many games since. Especially in DDs. Most hated class secretly, despite what most people (not DDs themselves) profess. I suspect ancient hatred boiling here against the class but you never know people can be just weird or greedy :)

You cant do the short campaign in co op though, nor some of the older ones. They should at least add the option. -
I'm citadeling stuff in Ranger often enough to not be surprised when it happens. Cruisers mostly cant remember if it happened wit a BB, dont think so.

Yes it is wrong. Lying. Yes it can win you stuff, or advance yr purpose. It is also unethical. But, You can't force anyone to change their ways though. You will create fights this way, you will win some of them (or most) but in the end what have you really accomplished? The lie is revealed, but I don't believe you turned yr opponent to the good side :) It is a good way to make enemies imo. -

Hide. Torp guessing where the opponent will be. Get away, using the smoke as a cover wall. Save yourself (for a moment) from a CV attack. Create an illusion, which you can exploit and attack from another angle. Finally, to shoot at enemies from relative safety, but for this to work you need, 1: either to trick them to shoot their guns 2: Ask your teamate to spot them for you (not all teamates take kindly to a DD captain asking for spotting :)- 43 replies

Worth mentioning though, is that he 'half-lied' - if the term can be used, as he did have very high dmg in the ship, what you explained seems to be the case imo, and misunderstanding could Create an unnecessary fight -

If his opinion is dealing with stats or derived from it, you can in a respectful manner. If he's lying you can call him out on it, I believe he was clear and left a lot of room there to maneuver ;) -
Many rude BB players do that, it is true. What is also true is that the BBs need a lot of time to come to a stop or turn. It is not always on purpose. I had it done on me in dd, and I did it in a BB. When it is stop and get murdered or eat torps, or push a dd out of the way a decision must be made. If you have a BB following full speed behind you, don't smoke up in his path or plan ahead. You do drive the more agile ship. Some times though players just do it out of idiocy, then you should report them.

I gave both examples I believe. I wasn't referring to the OP at all. Of course you can use stats to showcase a point, but the line is so thin between insult and ridicule and most times people cross it. That is why I think these threads should be closely monitored and rule enforced. Nothing more, nothing less. -
You can have fantastic games at tiers 5-6, don't feel pressured trying to reach a higher tier just have fun with whatever ship you drive. Some of my favorite ships are at tier 6 :)

The rule is there for a reason. Choosing to keep your stats visible don't mean you are open to get dragged though the mud or even openly discussed or applauded without giving your permission. I believe the mods are keeping a eye for this and don't feel a change is needed. -
A lot of lines split and the gameplay is very different. My advice is to look what you like in the ships you play (IJN DDs?) and look up the line. The Shima line is a torp line and the Harugumo a gunboat. Choose which you prefer as they play different somewhat.

I only max the ship graphs, all else I lower as I like to play in cooler temps and I hate every single upgrade that was done as it costs me in time and smoothness. Game looked better 2-3 years ago. -

Had a good game wit Ryu, won so that prob helped, got sunk by a sub(I had to cap), sunk 3, almost sunk another 4-5 nice all around game won on points. I encouraged a BB to run than attempt to engage the 3 subs that were chasing him (they were low health) as they should have capped instead. He run, they didn't cap, we won. Pretty good :) Game lasted 20 mins. Ps2: best game mode ever imo -
