Waves are random spawned and if you kill everything fast you get 2 IJN cruisers hunting a Balti (which you must save) as extra just before the last big one:)

Sorry but this nerf will widen the gap between skilled captains and the average. This is another elitist move I'm afraid to pad a cadre of selected few players and not the majority playing the game. It is also another incentive for mediocre CV captains to abandon the class all together. This class was presented differently, offered as a completely altered product and continued being nerfed in strange ways since its inception.

Guys it is doable. People just need to keep calm and use their focus fire well. Waves come one after the other true. You need a CV with a brain true. You need to know how to shoot, when to hide, and when to torp true. You don't need to go after them, they will come to you. You need to shoot ships that can kill you fast with torps. Also true. Fast ships will reach you faster, duh. You need to not die in the first 3 waves... This is the only difficult part of it. All others are doable from semi - decent players. A couple of notes. Don't take a CV, if you don't know it by heart and have finished it, with all other classes. Don't torp what your dds torp, AS THE BOTS react to you (CV) first and then all is missed. Use your squads like a clever person. Use Ryu / Ark (or Ranger if you are savvy) Use booms on first wave. Let your team shoot a bit and don't derail the easy cruisers (t3) Use your torps/rockets on the dds of the 2nd wave (first), cruisers (2nd). Repeat until team reposition. It's on you (CV) to DELAY the 3rd wave. Use torps, booms and rockets. Stop the cruisers/dds LEAVE the BBs alone. You (CV) need to go after ONE flank AND the dds. Pick wisely. LEFT or RIGHT. Your team should block the middle. STAY AWAY from the BBs, in fact don't attack a bb until ALL dds and Cruisers are stopped , especially the flanking ones. I pick the right side on my monitor. The one having Yorck and Aoba + the sneaking shira. Smack em. Move towards the center attacking the surviving dd(?) and Nurberg. Keep an eye on the flanking Myoko (should be dead but lately I've found it still alive behind the lines). Kill dat. NOW you attack the bbs and izumo (not in that order). I usually attack Izumo then the right Bayern, and send my CV to sec duel the flanking BB as a delaying/tanking tactic. Only for advanced users. sidenote: dont train your CV in this operation plz. It is not an easy one. There's a dd guide too, but I will just say dis. If you have a DD, you need to be the guy torping the slow BBs in the end. Mucho dmg, easy kills. To do dat you MUST not DIE or even SHOOT at the first waves if you can't handle it. Cruisers and BBs have a more specific role. You attack and deal dmg without tanking all the enemy bots in a de Grasse o.O It will not work. BBs pushing out the port need to remember that the first ships Of THE NEXT WAVE are dds. First Gaede tier and den Shira type (the ones with the hard hitting torps) so if you cant dodge, don't push :) Good luck and keep supporting operations mode. It is the best part of the game ;)

Attacking out of the circle is an option, if you know where the next wave comes (you don't) you can time a good hit and run or even a strike with a division BUT the onus is on you not to get killed, can't expect the rest to support your mad dash. Nimble ships can manage it but I think only extremely experienced players in dds should attempt it. All other ships can be caught (perhaps Leander can make it too) Dont try it with Spee or BBs. They are slow to disengage. If you are caught in a slow ship, it is better to find cover behind an island than try to return. Lose agro or burn.

I need to dig up my guide, for those reading and are new to the operation. Always eliminate the dds/cruiser first as they have torps and can deal huge dmg in a hurry. The BBs once left without escort are easy to kill and are slow to finish off targets. The Izumo is a whale for dis but I fear the flanking cruisers more than anything else

Last game I was frustrated (in a rare Ansan appearance) but stubbornly blocked the entrance to last part of the port, pushed the last ship to safety and won a no star with the help of the 2 bot dds. I didn't want to lose. PS" dont give up on games :) Btw, we played a couple of times together in the past

No change is free here, not that I know of anyway. I pressed the wrong button 2 years ago or 3 and I still carry it.

A lot of new players in Newport this week. I have to use Ryu to assure a very hard carry, all other ships can't do it. Most people admit in chat, or privately that they played there for first time, in their first t6 ship. So I advice patience, and use of chat to provide calm and clear instructions. I managed a 2 star win after convincing 1 cruiser and 1 Bayern stay and defend the base (one flank basically) with me. Rest of team managed to get killed at the start of the 3rd wave. We had 3 ships left. People can learn very fast (sometimes), this is one of best operations to play and I love playing there solo as I never use divisions.

I had it full sec built, only BB not affected by opponents for 60% of my games. If I played it smart it almost always did a good job. If you make a stupid move though (I do that frequently cuz I'm bored) then expect a decent opponent to hurt you bad. Of course as almost all BBs it is affected from the current meta. A DD will sink you, a CV will also and the cruisers will burn you but that's on the class not on Sinop. In his tier it was the best imo. Noted that I haven't played it in quite a while since I've moved up. Now tier 8 is same thing but not as impressive, I like Riche better there cuz you face much more dangerous opponents and I need to move around more. Seeing your stats I really think it is serving you pretty well, I'm content more easily perhaps :)

Fix don't work. It just makes opening the dockyard possible AFTER a VERY LONG LOADING. Plz fix it wg it 's been almost a month since the update ffs. Don't remember nerfing the cred gains for operations taking so long

I've never reached that high fxp numbers. I use them in different ways and are never enough.
