As I said, ambush is yr best bet until you learn more stuff (but don't expect miracles, it is a situational ship). Use terrain to approach easy targets or to surprise some fat bb. Don't play like a DD but have it in the back of yr mind. You can't attack a flank on yr own, but you can surprise and kill a push of a couple of ships. Move fast hit hard on broasides wit torps and guns and have an escape route. Use island to surprise a enemy hunting you down. I love the ship btw :)

Let them come to you, find a good spot. Gneiss is an ambush ship imo.

there are people that play and enjoy CVs, duped into playing by WG, I can see them leaving en masse if this nerf hammer continues. While this might please players, it is getting tiresome and I have spend cash to buy stuff for my ships (including CVs) and I don't like seeing them nerfed one after the other. When will it be enough? Xp nerf, torp nerf, attack planes nerf, flooding nerf etc Remember It happened with the dds (IJN) before that and it will happen to other classes when the CV playerbase is extinguished. People will just find something else to complain about. Give us back rts at least we didnt ask for any of this!

you need a heal first

CCs were always looking after their channels and pockets man, totally untrustworthy. The rare protests after the dmg is done means nothing. Remember what happened with the bureau and Moskva and the nerfing of ships after I have bought camo for them (Ryu, Shoka, Haku) etc. Too many stuff to recount here, well known by all.

CVs got nerfed savagely for 4 straight patches it is nice they get some love, rest I agree

Dis. Since I don't play as I used to, I don't see the harm since it is obvious now that the WG vision of the final form of the game had it in them? Why did they deny it? Several reasons, but for all intended purposes they mostly wanted the hard core ship enthusiasts to foot the bill till the game was ready. To be fair, it is a perfectly sound strategy.

I have no other DD close to the WR of Hatsu (64%). I haven't played it in ages but it was easy to play then. Cant remember what I liked about it but it must have been good at something haha ;)

idk watching a ton of Petro's duking it out wasn't very interesting tbh and the dds played pretty poorly due to the radar spam anyways.

Great positioning and cap control (without really capping) beats all. Nothing new here. The 1k health dd that parked behind the rock for the whole game and didn't have to shoot gets the cake from me.Easy stuff. Congrats to TWA. PS: GET CVS IN THERE ASAP!

Yea. Rip :/ They tried first game to push cap and they got countered. Next they committed more ships and they capped but then they got countered again as the enemy took position outside the cap and just waited for the radars to light them up. Being all tacked together they didn't need rng as even if you missed one ship you got the one next to it :) One smoke is too smol for 5 ships to sneak into :O I think everyone knew they lost since start but politely pretended they had chance :)

semi final Smile against Twa I think. Lost both games trying same tactic very easy (2nd game I think they had one or no kills?). They used yueyang? and a Somers both failed. Committed a ton of cruisers (3 + a Republique) to the slow push. It wasn't working. And they were left paralyzed as the other team knew where their dd was roughly kept all their guns trained there and waited for the radar counter to restart to fire at it again. 2-3 radars later dd was ded. I felt sorry for that somers since it could have pushed them on it's own using the blob of ships as a huge decoy. They have some great players but whoever came up with the tactic should be shot lol :D

You can't smoke push against radar. Good Lord. It was pretty disappointing. Especially seeing that Somers stay near the other ships as if there was a CV in game and not switching it up. I was not entertained a lot but it was funny haha :)
