OK, no need to press P on a Kamikaze, but it is a good practice. We can settle at that. LOL
-
Correct, but you don't want to get in smoke and have it go on shooting and ruin your smoke concealment. I guess.

I can only speak (well...uhmmm. write) about the Kamikaze and T5. All notes in this post concern T5 and Kamikaze. I have no experience in high tier DD play, so, I cant speak. First - the button is P - you press it once during your first battle with the Kamikaze and you never press it again. You don't need AA fire as a Kamikaze. Actually your guns are decorative. You wish as a Kamikaze skipper that you will never need to use them. CVs are not a problem. Hard to get spotted, even harder to get sunk (by a CV). In the odd case that from some twist of luck the CV skipper has a fixation with your DD just turn and go hug your Cruiser mates. Very soon that CV will be cured from her compulsion to hunt you. Team-play wise (if this is a term) when the CV is fixated on one DD the other DDs of the team are free to roam. So again the effect of this so called perma-spotting is not so intense at team level. Uhmmmm, yes...this is what Kamikaze does. When you have the lowest detection range in your tier (if I m not in err) you play your strong card. For me a successful game is to sink my opponents and never be seen in one entire match. Emphasis on "never". Very doable even for a novice player like me. Nope. At least not in T5 All in all, CVs as they are now in T5, are a nuisance at most. A good CV player will have to sacrifice his farming activity to support his team DDs actually during capping in the initial stage of the game. Scout the other side of the cap, drop consumables to deny entry to enemy planes, find the other contesting DD etc. Once this is done, the CV has to keep track of enemy DDs. That's hard work. Especially now that the spotting ability has been nerfed and will be further nerfed as CV aircraft wont be able to know the bearing of the unseen ship. And no farming. CVs can't deal reliable damage. Nope, CVs are not rare, at least in T5. that they are a very fun to play class. At least in T5 with the Kamikaze. Regards Saltface

If they could make or afford to make and run, an AI programme that: will understand the basic nuances of the game-play,and be able to see which action is the one that gave victory (or more than one action or player) the BOT in CooP would be so good that you would only have 5% win rate in Co Op.

On the Internet? Oh my, I ll have a 60% WR before this happens. LOL But the effort and the intentions (of the kind moderator) are appreciated.

the "old" is correct. I simply use the "professional colloquial" when speaking. LOL -
The answer to this one is easy. One word. TRY Just try the best he can. Do the good work. This will be appreciated. Don't quit. Don't abandon your mates. Just try the best you can. And you know what? It might work. (btw I am a father of two, this is what I tell my kids - not implying here that you are a child) Furthermore, you miss a golden opportunity to try to solve the riddle of being low tier and how to (or what to) do so you can prevail. Only if you try and not quit you will find the solution. Regards, Saltface

Dear All, the point of @Bear_Necessities in his post is about player mentality. Not if the CVs are balanced or not. Or if they can perform if they are low tier. These issues, most probably, are "problematic" to say at least. For whatever reason you decide to dump your team and do your thing (or do nothing at all and expect to be carried) you are in my bad book. Random or not, this is still a team game. Furthermore, as I have played a bit in all tiers before sticking to the comfort zone of my skill level of mid tier games, I have observed that the mentality does not get better as tiers progress upwards. Please take note that I differentiate "bad play" from "egotistic play". We can't expect all to have the same skill and ability. We can demand however, that all participate "correctly" to the measure of their abilities in the game. So, yes we do have potatoes (maybe I am one of them) but the biggest frustration are the bloated egos. If it is of any consolation it is the same in all tiers of life. So we shouldn't be surprised. Now Now !! never used the word noob But I guess I lived up to my name -
I stand corrected
-
My bad then. Answer to OP is: None You get me in any of those supposedly P2W and I ll teach you how to lose.
-
Minekaze, Kamikaze and Fujin are "effectively" the same ships (if you look for differences you will find minor ones like ruder shift time, torpedo tube rotation speed etc) The OP asked about good premium ships (I hate the term P2W)
-
Kamikaze?
-
AHA, I found the welcoming bosom where I can go cry my frustration off. And I will troll you with a T5 compared to the magnificence of your T10. But I guess frustration is all the same. Just saying.
-
This is a valid point. I don't know if it is correct but it is plausible.

I think my dear friend that you are cherry picking. If you look up the post trail you will see what I have suggested. I never suggested to: Instead I urged my fellow players to: You also try to differentiate between a tangible product (a car in your example or a washing powder) and a digital product. You also try to find errors in the analogy of "pixel boat" vs "film". This is shifting the attention from the actual issue to the example. My dear, the issue is: and I am also afraid that you are easy to take offense. I am sorry if you are offended. But my point of view still stands. WG wants to sell. They will employ all marketing tricks in the book to do so. Good for them. We, as customers, have to exercise our due diligence. If we don't then bad for us. As far as I am concerned, I consider I am a big boy and as such I don't need to be protected or in need of a safe space. Regards, Saltface -
apprentices where I come from they say "eat a big bite, don't say a big word" And now my opinion - there are good players and there are bad players. If you (good players) want to exclude bad players from the game you are elitists. If you (bad players) don't try to get better (in a game for goodness' sake) your attitude is disheartening. It is all a question of attitude. Regards Saltface

Don't take me wrong. I understand the frustration. But, and its a big but, we are supposed to be thinking adults. Lets take our responsibilities. We are not babies that need safe spaces and protection from the evil corporations. And, @Admiral_H_Nelson how many times have you seen a meh film that was below your expectations (expectations built on the basis of trailers)? Come on mate, you got my example. And by the way, Rotten Tomatoes is us. We can form our own opinions and post them here. Regards Saltface
