Try this setup. you could go for SI or DE in level 3 skills but I dont think they will help you. OFC it depends on your playstyle. I would avoid AFT and BFT as they help in one way that is not really compatible with Hsien. You trade too much to get very little in return.

You need one Commander for every silver ship that you will play regularly. To start with turn to 19p the commander on the ship you are currently playing with. All your focus should go on the commander that is on the ship you play the most. Once this commander is 19p all Commander XP points earned by this commander can be used to skill other commanders. Never specialize a commander on a Premium ship. Use your 19pt commander on a suitable premium ship while he is specialized on a silver line ship that you play regularly. This way you will gain the max Commander XP points to skill other commanders. hope it was of help cheers

And I do know to tell what I see. So, lets stay off this one. And we answered. We told you what we think. We told you that yes, it is harder to play DD in the current meta and this is the method we advise/play to get around this radar thing. We did not agree that DDs have it VERY hard. So, what? Must all agree with one point of view? Why? You made the opening post and you claimed that Radar is one of your problems. I am quoting you in Post #1 - "Face facts a DD cannot today go anywhere near good scouting in the face of CV's and mulltiple radarcruisers." And we just told you how we would play around that problem. You express your feelings about bad BB player behavior but I cant say anything more than what I said earlier. But if my anecdotal evidence is of any value I will say that I don't recall easily BBs badmouthing me in my 2,5 K random games in a DD. Some silly kids maybe but nothing to get upset about. No. Screenshots don't work. I don't care about screenshots. I care about what you write in here. And what you wrote is wrong for the reasons I explained. I don't care if you are a bad player or not. I know your stats. I care that you don't give false information and bad advise without being contested. I ll say that I disagree with you and why. Let people decide what they want to believe. it happens mate. At least in my few solo games it worked. Random players do shoot ships marked with F3. In division games you skip a step. You don't need the F3. Your team mates will wax that radar. Here is the magic of it. Teamwork works. Be it solo be it in div. Why don't you trust your team mates? And this is no DD101. The OP is a fine DD player. This is the way you handle radar ships. What can I do? Do you have any other suggestion? Please tell us. I for one want to learn more than what I know. And if I don't explain how you handle a Salem or a DM (correction 10.89 Km conc.) people will believe the silly things that have been told to us here with backing proof a hidden profile and one screenshot.

How do you judge the OP's level? Are you assuming something I don't know? How would you characterize someone that does not play the class often, when he plays the class he performs under par, and, that someone has the audacity to say to a far better player that ......"at that level that you are ....." and give bad advise. LOL Please get real. And why give bad advice to a DD player? Because to stay far away from a Salem or any other short range radar ship is bad play. You should be closer and keeping the damn Salem spotted. You are so ignorant about DD play that you cant understand that the Salem has less concealment than 12 Km. So, in all fairness, you demonstrably don't know how to play the class but you think you have the right to judge the level of better players than you and give bad advise because "at that level" they have to be stupid and follow wrong advise? @Caridon mate please check the source of any advise you get on the forum. You might get some crap like this one here. Facts are the following (in contrast to brain farts) Salem, DM and a few more radar ships (usually US) have short range long duration radar. https://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Ship:Surveillance_Radar_Data lets talk about Salem but you will get the drift. about 10.5 concealment 8.5 radar. Stay at 9 - 9+ You are faster so you can follow or kite. Watch where you are going so you don't get between two and you cant escape. keep it spotted and marked till it sinks. It has an amazing heal so don't let go until its sunk. watch out because the duration can be nasty. You don't want to stay under fire long if you get in range. Hope this was helpful to you

Why should he stay 12 Km away from a Salem or a DM (among many others)? This is an oversimplified guide to sink your DD. You have to plan your escape taking consideration of ALL the ships that can shoot you, not only the radar ship that will spot you. Actually that ship might be behind a rock and wont be shooting at you. Radar Baiting is far more complicated than just popping in radar range and leaving.

@Bunny_Lover_Kallen Baiting radar (and dodging the hell out of there) is an art. LOL I do it (lol) but I wouldn't suggest it as a first step. but I agree, radar takes a bit of extra care to deal with and you can still do your job.

I will not say OP is way off here, but I ll give him a tip from another DD player. Go spot the radar ship. There is very little stealth radaring going on. You can spot from safety. Use F3 and get that radar killed, or, dislodge it with your torps, force it to move in the open so it gets killed. No One Ever Berated Me. The opposite happened. All taught me how to play and taught me how to enjoy the game. Stop accusing others for your shortcomings. You are free to express your opinion and ideas but you should also know that their quality and application are reflected on your ingame performance and your statistics. And unfortunately they are well below par. So, most probably what you propose does not work. Get over it. Reality check with good intention: Have you ever asked yourself why you are so unpopular?
