I agree. WG said that the rework would be done because there was too much power in the hands of one CV player (as well as a big difference between a skilled one and a noob), so the result of your game was basically how lucky you got with being on the team with the better CV player. But now, after the rework, and the fix that that apparently stopped all the whining (which there is no less of as far as i heard), the CV players face no risk at all. They cant even get de-planed. So who cares if you rush the enemy cap at the very start of the game and spot the entire team (rendering the role of all DDs at least 50% useless)? Nobody does, because you can just launch new ones. Also, you can NEVER stop a CV if it choses to attack you, they always get some damage in, and if that doesnt kill you, their spotting will. You cant really defend against a CV (Exept for specking into full AA) while he is virtually invulnerable up the last 5 minutes of the game. I deteste that mechanic. And given that they stay alive for so long and never run out of planes, they have got the time to deal all the damage aswell. WG should implement some kind of a risk factor into the CV mechnic. Make them think before they attack a target (not only how much damage are they going to deal). And more importantly - make them pay if they make a mistake. Because all the other classes do. A lot.
