The mind gets a so called fear of missing out with event structures like that. That is mental conditioning meant to cause addiction. It also pushes away other activities by forcing you to be online and ready at a certain time (if you want the sweet reward). Thats why I have 0 recruits, I tell people the truth and they play something else.

I dont have the replay anymore. I resolved the issue by (nearly) only using the guns (english dds are not very good with that but most low-tier enemies arent good at torps either). T4 and upwards the english torps get worse but I dont do any team-damage without having collected more experience.

If you watch the replay you can mostly see if the other one hit the torps by accident. Just watch the last move-input. Did they try to evade/minimize damage or park broadside and reduce speed to catch the full barrage. In one case the allied ship was even far out of reach when I shot, but it closed the range and parked broadside (T3 dds very easy)

Aloha, after playing lots of games with battleships and carriers I thought I'd try destroyers. I never even considered attacking my own team. Around every third game I get a mate who deliberately "catches" my torpedoes though. I watched the replays, one accident happened (since Im new to this), the others were on purpose. At the moment my penalty-level is at 5 games. Maybe it was just bad luck, but it looks like the only way of getting rid of this is playing another ship or completely abandoning torpedoes for some time. Am I missing something important? Was it just bad luck with the teams? Did some of you have the same problem?

I played a lot with battleships and carriers without a lot of problems Now I started destroyers and I got suiciding (not by accident, watched the replays) teammates everywhere. I never wanted to tk (one accident happened though). Any ideas to get out of pink without abandoning destroyers?

It seems like this is outdated (Or doesnt apply to steam-installation on Win10 64bit) In my case there is no "WorldOfWarships.exe". I used the "WorldOfWarships64.exe". If you have multiple ones (Like in my case) try to use the one in the folder with the highest number (probably newest version). Not sure if you can use it on older replays, since Im kinda new to replays (somebody trolled me by voluntarily "catching" my torps and getting me pinked and I wanted to report him)
