And what happens after the snowflake event? Then we're back to the same story repeating every few days in forums because... 1. WG knows about it but don't give a damn 2. There is a simple solution removing the 'mercy rule' that bots don't care anyways 3. People don't search the forums before posting and you can often see dozens of threads about the same topic

I was bashing on Montepasta and Trento and seeing Genova is even worse. However, Zara seems to be significantly better for it's tier. There are some nuances that could be improved but far from being the worst ship definitely. I wonder if Amalfi is also good or a tough obstacle to pass in order to obtain the top of the notch - Venezia...

Because WG thinks they are not very realistic. But having eagles, scorpions and other monsters on top of the ships is perfectly fine. You cannot understand Russian logic, comrade.

Btw. don't get me wrong but the rewards are just given too late. For example, I have completed the Italian collection and I don't care about the Italian containers I will receive as a gift from the PTS. I'd prefer anything else actually, like premium time. But I cannot choose. And I couldn't wait for the prizes from the PTS because I might not finish the collection relying on those containers. Not sure if you can see the problem that is always present and just choose to ignore it or you don't see it at all and needs to be pointed out this way? Either way I hope you will actually speed up the process of giving away the prizes earned on the PTS. @YabbaCoe

T6 premium container? Where did you dig that piece of information up?

That actually made me LOL. Hard. Tracers in multiple colors don't fit the purpose and style of the game but moving monsters, spaceships, apocalypse rusty ships etc. are perfectly fine with the naval history. At least according to WG spreadsheets.

Well, I could officially say that WG is insane bringing the hardest grind ever and in the time of holidays when most sane people would not spend that much time on the computer anyways. Let's see who is more insane... WG for bringing such grind or some people who will actually spend their holidays on a keyboard (even if you pay all 24k doubloons, you still need to stick your [edited]to the computer chair and play a significant amount of time over the holidays). PEF... Benham... it all seems ridiculous now compared to Puerto Rico which isn't anything special in my humble opinion and definitely not worth the time and effort WG is asking. Not even close.

Why would you sell 3 boosters for 3k to 1000 players when you can sell 3 boosters for 24k to 125 and get the same? And less people having it is better for the game overall. Plus there will be always people tempted to overpay whatever they offer, that became the main source of income for them lately. I completely understand their business model. I don't like it, I don't agree with it. In fact, I think it's miserable and it sucks but I do understand it and have no issues ignoring it waving the middle finger.

So the shipbuilding containers don't bring any shipbuilding tokens? Well, WG... please give an award to the man in charge of naming events, containers and tokens and giving them a purpose. You wouldn't be able to make more confusion even if you tried.

I believe I will be able to collect some steel, coal and possibly Gorizia. Enough for the event, no need to bother for the PR as I know in advance I have roughly 0% chance getting anywhere close to finishing it. P.S. I see that gambling symbol again. I wonder if there will be a single event which doesn't include gambling with loot boxes.

LOL Since I rarely play Random I never expect to be mentioned in this thread I'm trying to get somewhere using the 7-day premium I got for 250 doubloons as who knows when will be the next time I get premium days So far the Italians are still not my thing but it would be nice to have a higher tier in case they improve it in a later stage. I don't waste time watching streams and streams shouldn't be an official source of any information IMHO. It's irrelevant now anyways, let's just see if they will use it as a lesson to not repeat the same mistake, at least not in the near future.

We will get out slots back when 0.8.11 kicks in, in about a week. They messed up, they know it. But instead of acknowledging it, they try to ignore it and give us a few slots in return (you will keep all the slots you currently have. It's their way of saying "We're sorry we messed up but won't ever say that publicly". P.S. Plenty of numbers in that article. Do you have some other numbers like how many players purchased an additional slot for 300 doubloons, by mistake? How many players filed a support ticket for such refund? How many players were unable to progress due to lack of port slots? Did you count how many times you were told, during the PTS, the bots spawning in the same place is repetitive and boring? Yet, you did no changes for the live server... etc. etc.

Even for such a nice event WG is giving away prizes via the freakin' loot box system? Seriously? It doesn't even matter that much which camo you'll obtain but still... it's getting crazy with the gambling symbol being pushed everywhere.

The captain should stay, the Arizona is a 1-day rental, the captain is not on rent. P.S. The whole event stinks of experiment. I wonder who believes in this bollocks. "Unfortunately, we can’t make leaderboards for this event, so all results will be calculated after the competitions" More like "We want to see how much players will engage when they don't know anything about how many points they gained and how many points others gained" (compared to current 'Hall of Fame' for example when you can see almost in real-time how good you're doing compared to the others)

It seems that it has been fixed now. I believe the compensation is for the prize ships, not the rentals. Do you really expect a compensation in doubloons to be comparable to 1-day rental?

A simple question... There is no time limit on completing the “Resolute and Rapid" collection for the Italian captain, right? I mean I have enough duplicated to complete it but I'm planning to do it later, when I need the few premium days the completion offers. That should work, right?

One more (noob) question... so the captain I have on a premium one... once I transfer it to a specific silver ship, it will need retraining, right? Once it's done and I can move it back to a premium and then again to the same silver ship without any retraining? Retraining would then be only necessary if I want it on another silver ship? It will be stated for which ship I don't need retraining?

The prizes look awesome... 1-day rentals are always my favorite. To be completely ignored.

I'm also a noob in this department. Especially since I don't have any 19 point captain. I have a few of 16 points and getting to 19 is a very slow process indeed, especially when playing casually. So the 16-point ones I have on premium ships... I should train to a specific silver one of the same nation and class?
