You get steel for 'standard' Ranked like we just had (almost exclusively T10 ships). For Ranked Sprint (as this one) you never get steel but some coal instead. Many players don't even bother with Ranked sprint and now that you need 40 stars to get that coal... I believe even less people with waste time on it, especially with many of them grinding for the PR or whatever are the other rewards in this update which I consider the worst one released yet.

I'll say it again - I've never had so many problems with the game connection, disconnections, fps drops and ping spikes. You're just making bigger and bigger updates with more details nobody asked for, draining more every PC component and resulting in a significantly worse performance overall. Not the first time I've said this, not the only one who noticed this but this update has been the worst so far in terms of performance issues.

Did anyone compiled a list of ships with useful UUs and worthless ones? Not that I will have time to get those T10 ships but just wondering...

Are you for real? Don't tell me you fell so easily for WG scammy play of words they always use? What's the difference between having more irrevocable ranks with more stars needed and less irrevocable ones with less stars? The only difference is that you need to play more and grind more for the same crappy rewards. So it's presented in a way that for naive people looks better "Hey, look, all ranks are irrevocable, thanks WG!" In reality, last 'Ranked Spring' required 22 stars in total, this one requires 40 stars in total so basically double. Too bad people are generally too stupid to see the obvious.

And CVs will crush all of them.

I'm at 150k coal so still not enough for some ship, even with a discount. Always low on steel. Not giving money to WG unless they make some drastic changes in the way they treat the players.

4 stars needed to progress from 10-6 rank and then 5 stars for 5-1 ranks? Really? Tell the guy in charge or these events to stop drinking that much early in the morning.

Oh, my stats? I love when players dig other players stats to prove a point when they are run out of arguments. ROFLMAO I told you I don't give a crap about PR so I don't know how many times I have to repeat that. Do I need to draw it for you? Firstly you claimed that it's the same as the PR was in the premium shop. After my reply, you went silent and switched to how many games you need to play basing it my my stats when I never even tried to get the PR. I'm really having troubles seeing your distorted perspective of reality but since this has become a personal discussion I'll leave it at that. So you played 15 battles and got a PR? With 40 euros spent? I didn't do math for PR because I didn't care about it but that seems highly unlikely. You either paid more, you will pay more or you will have to play much more.

What is it with the 20-30 games played you mention? On what are you basing those numbers? As far as I know you have to play thousands of games if you want to stand a chance of getting a PR with the minimum amount of money spent. And no, I didn't expect to get it with 20-30 games but not that I'd need to play 10,000 games in order I don't. I already said that. Insult? Can you point the insult I've used that triggered you so much? If they guys running the game would be half-decent I'd be the first one to support them financially. However, with the attitude and events that were going on for the last few months... no, they won't see a single cent from me and many other players that would never support such behavior towards players.

Because it's not in the premium shop but instead behind a pay wall falsely advertised as "free with some grind" by WG? Because it's a T10 premium for sale, something WG said they will never do? A T10 premium that anyone get get, as long as they pay a highly steep price WG is asking? Do I need to draw? P.S. No, I won't pay a single cent and I don't care one bit about the PR but stating what you state is just something that is very hard to swallow.

I don't see what PR has to do with 20, 200 or 2000 played games. You can register, give them 200 euros and take the Puerto Rico, without playing a single game. What are you talking about? Yes, I play a free game. If WOWs wants to become a paid game (seems like they are going in that direction) they should just make it clear instead of promoting always a free game and free stuff when in fact you need to pay for almost anything.

So, how is going? I see a lot of bots, especially in Gorizia ships. I've reported some of them attaching full replays to the support, even tho I don't think WG gives a crap about it. Last time it took them months to do anything regarding the much bigger problem with bots. Very nice, even co-ops are infected and unplayable now. Thanks WG.

I feel like I've found a few already while playing a some co-op battles earlier today. iChase also mentioned a possible influx of bots, thanks to WG's insane grind for the Puerto Rico. Maybe it's a bit early for this thread but do you expect to see another wave of bots like we had when they was a silly competition for recruiters with real cash prizes? Are we ready for another episode of that BS?

I still don't give a F, thanks for asking. The amount of greed from WG and the disasters regarding the PR will just make it easier for me to leave the game for good. This has become a chore and nobody enjoys chores.

I always thought PTS is for players to test it, report bugs and give constructive suggestions. In reality, is WG asking for people to waste A LOT of time grinding for some useless rewards and then they just compile all data and spreadsheets and form a complete unrealistic opinion about the update. Yeah, but you still have a lot of players like @Captain_Newman who are quite selfish and don't even see the bigger picture. If you try to see the things from their perspective, it would be that they don't want new (noob) players in high tiers. It would make sense if WG wasn't selling high tiers for money which every new (noob) player can buy. Since WG is doing exactly that (even T10, starting with 'Puerto Rico') his whole story falls in the water, straight to the bottom. I bet most new players don't spend more than a day or two in WOWs. They have such a long way ahead and it's now harder than it was for any of us. Everything scares them away, from mechanics to the amount of ships/lines that seem impossible for them. The small percentage that continues to play for the next few days get in a ship with no AA, facing a T4 CV. They obviously think that they are doing something wrong because who would do such a thing to allow T3 ship with no AA to face T4 CV!?? So everything is made against new players and every competition, every feature and every prize is mainly focused on T10, like all other tiers are an irrelevant step to get to the only tier that matters.

You know when you just bought something or used a service and a question pops up "Would you recommend this to a friend?" Well, in the case of WOWs at this moment, I'd strongly answer "Hell no!".

And seems like the west is too stupid and falls for the cheap tricks of the east. Just an observation.

@Crysantos Was the client updated today? I've noticed some visual and audio changes just now that weren't present in the morning...

Many CCs did mention it on streams but didn't make a specific video about it (like iChase did) because they don't find it as bad as the PR grind. I'd say it's still human nature and selfishness in the first place as they don't mind regrinding lines using resources provided by WG, especially when there is no time limit to do so. The PR did strike their nerve because it was just insane and they still needed to grind it. Yes, they could've paid the 59k doubloons but with the grind they have much more content and therefore more profit.
