I'd say you mixed something up. If you're sure of that, contact the support because it would definitely be a bug. Most fancy camos don't go on carriers. WG has it's reasons I guess because it's not the first time.

Did anyone notice... once you complete the collection you're still getting duplicates from the 2020 containers... How stupid is that? Couldn't they replace it with ANYTHING useful instead of getting duplicate items for a collection you already completed!? @Crysantos @MrConway

I told the guys my position and exited the battle(s). So instead of both of us wasting 3 minutes, he has to waste 5 minutes instead. He gets a star for the 'trouble', I go for another chance. I don't see anything bad about it.

Is that a way of saying "you're not as long here as I am and therefore have no right for an opinion" ? I thought players with "large amounts of doubloons acquired over the time" spent all on the bloody Puerto Rico and I don't think that many players have more than the 59,000 doubloons that were required for the PR (or at least half of that if they invested time and effort in the grind over the holidays). My opinion is based not only on this topic but on all others you're opening quite often. As I said - we're being bombarded with the "BUY, BUY, BUY" insanity from WG wherever we look. As soon as you open the game there is a 'News' with unread articles which are usually about some lootboxes and discounts. You enter the game, go to 'Armory' and you cannot even see anything other than lootboxes waiting to be bought. Even when you're not in the game at all, e-mail start popping with lootboxes and similar stuff. I even got one about my 'premium time is about to expire' even though I never bought any premium and those are just a couple of free days obtained in-game. All I'm saying is that we don't need threads like this as we have enough without them. Especially not in the 'Gameplay' part of the forum.

What about checking some basic info about the PTS first, before making a fool of yourself in public?

I chose "other". Haven't played CVs, still don't play CVs. In fact, I don't give a s**t about the CVs and the whole drama that was going on for the whole year was enough to make me sick and stay away from them.

I haven't been too long here to have some long-term opinion (based on the past) but seems like WG is slowly shifting WOWs from F2P to P2W. The 2019 has been the year of lootboxes and insane gambling, promoting it in every freakin YT videos, all over News articles, in e-mails etc. And then you see it's PEGI 7. Irony, right? I hope players will realize that they are the ones choosing the direction in which the game is going. If players stop giving money to WG they will investigate what caused the decline in profits and will do something about it. However, if players are still overpaying for stuff like PR for 200 euros then they will continue to make disasters like that one without caring too much that other players hate it.

Gorizia was definitely designed to be a tool for completing directives easier in hopes many players will buy her sooner than later to have an advantage over those that will get her after completing the 3rd directive. Cash first, complain later. The ship was never designed to be good or fun and nobody will play her once this event finishes.

An average Joe can probably get half the building process. Someone who plays a lot but doesn't pay crap to WG can probably get to 2/3 of the construction. I'm somewhere in the middle... playing a bit more than an average Joe but not paying for the PR even if it was half the price (or quarter the price for that matter).

I answered the 1st option to all questions. I believe that says enough. Thing is, the NTC is just going to get worse with even more OP stuff there like more premium OP ships, upgraded LM/UU etc.

@Leo_Apollo11 WOW, you're doing a great job of reminding everyone to spend more money on the game. We see the announcements, we see the lootboxes as soon as we enter the Armory, we're receiving e-mails about the discounts and coupons... it would be nice to have a break from the consumerism insanity at least in the 'Gameplay' part of the forum.

I played with Amalfi and I got 11k coal and Brindisi in the process. Fine by me. When I faced BBs like Tirpitz, I'd just exit the battle, no need to waste my time on a battle I have no chance of winning.

@Wicket_Boomber you started insulting and talking BS so I'd strongly suggest you to stop. You're the one who talked about politics, religion and other stuff which is prohibited and deserve a warning/ban. This patch has been the worst of all in terms of unreliability and disconnections.

I don't know if I wrote it on this thread or another one... I chose Amalfi because I was grinding for Brindisi. That's it. And guess what - I won most battles against anything other than a BB but I did play most of the battles against BB so overall I lost more battles than I won. I don't have Bismark and I don't want to buy Tirpitz or Massa. I play with that I have and I don't have a single T8 BB :) So I choose Amalfi and click 'BATTLE'. Depending on the opponent, I choose the tactic which worked decently well. If I see a BB like Tirpitz I simply leave the battle and try again. I don't care about WR % or stats so that's no issue for me. I play for for fun, not to brag about stats like many other players do. P.S. Skill is essential no matter what ship you choose but I'm just saying that compared to what we expected with CVs being OP... it definitely relies mostly on skill. You don't have a lot of time (before the enemy finds you) and every drop as very important. If you make a mistake or two, you can consider yourself spotted and soon after on the bottom. BBs are generally the most forgiving class and this Ranked Sprint is no exception. P.P.S. I lost at least few battles due to connection issues I'm having with the latest patch. When in regular battle I usually can come back and catch up with the battle but in this mode when I reconnect, the battle is finished already. Seems like I'm not the only one with issues but it also seems WG doesn't care as long as the majority has no connection issues.

If you need an hour, don't bother. It was rather a rhetorical question, I don't need you to post replays to prove it. I won Tirpitz few times but it was because the guys had no idea what they are doing, They obviously paid for the ship and never played it or just bought it without having a clue about german BBs or BBs in general. I'm just saying that Tirpitz is extremely OP for this event and I don't think anyone can deny that. I believe most of players were expecting CVs to be OP but that was not really the case. And playing a CV relies even more on the skill of the player than playing a Tirpitz where a terrible player can win most games and reach rank 1 easily.

Are you really comparing any battle mode with this event where it's 1vs 1 and it's all about that ONE ship, not a dozen of half a dozen of them!?? If one ship was not great, you had others to back him up... you could make combinations which as a while works great (having DD to smoke and others to punish) but all that has absolutely NOTHING to do when you're playing 1 vs 1 and nothing else matters. Tirpitz has great health pool, devastating secondaries for the their and on top of that she even has torps. I'd like to see a single player who will defeat Tirpitz playing in any other ship, especially cruisers which I play mostly but are simply terrible for this event.

Making any event where you have a few ships which are highly OP compared to any other ship (like Tirpitz, which you encounter most of the time) is simply a stupid decision no matter how you look at it.

Sure, just because you asked it nicely in a random port they will never see. Good luck with that. P.S. Great idea, terrible execution with no MM taken into consideration at all. Hope they will think it through next time.
