So you're admitting that Narai is being removed because "it does't work that well for you" ?? And again, your whole story to justify this is simply VOID. WG doesn't have the resources/time for operations at the moment. We get that. Why removing the only operation the players enjoy? WHY? Nobody is demanding that WG focuses on the operations now but don't take from us what's working. Bugged but still working. Everyone can choose not to play a certain operation if they feel it's too bugged for their taste, it's not mandatory. Removing it (even if only temporary) to fix the bugs is BS and you know it. Why not removing some other operation such as "Naval Station Newport" which is so bugged and badly made that I believe almost nobody plays it!?

I've updated my post as I cleared my own confusion in the meantime. -
British Cruisers: Obtain Cruiser London
Afghanicus replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
Hold on... am I missing something here? You (as in WG all the time in every announcement, event description etc.) says that we need to log in every day in order to collect the rewards from the daily shipments. You're now saying that even if we don't collect them, they will automatically be added to our account, including the 50 Royal tokens? Some clarification would be nice. EDIT: Nevermind, I see the confusion now. You do need to log in every day in order to collect the daily shipment rewards. Since the daily shipments are going for 14 days and there are 10 of them, you can skip (not log in) 4 days out of those 2 weeks and still get all daily shipment rewards. @Crysantos was saying that even if you don't click on "collect", you'll get that daily reward, provided that you did in fact log into the game. And I can confirm that's true. No need to actually collect it, as long as you log in you'll get the reward at the end of the day. I found out this when I intentionally didn't want to collect the 24-hour premium reward and was planning to collect it the next day. But when I opened the game in the morning, the reward was collected automatically (I logged in that day obviously) and premium time started. All clear to me now. -
British Cruisers: Obtain Cruiser London

The problem is that WG is pushing more and more time-limited events. Especially with legendary commanders which used to be obtained completing interesting campaign missions and now require you to grind every day because if you fail to complete X missions/directives/whatever... you have no chance of getting that commander and you will have to wait months until it's available to be purchased by an insane amount of coal (usually close to 180,000 which is way overpriced). -
Update 0.9.1: British Heavy Cruisers Part 2
Afghanicus replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
While the dev blog post is always preliminary and subject to change... I really believe that the date for completing the UU combat missions won't change ie. won't be shorter than announced. That would be really bad. -

There is none. The bold part took too much of my attention. -
Update 0.9.1: British Heavy Cruisers Part 2

The question is for the WG staff as the information we're given is conflicting. "Thanks" for your input. -
Hi @Crysantos Would you mind replying to these question, please? 1. Why removing Narai if it's functioning better than others, like "Raptor Rescue" for example? AI bugs are present in ALL operations, not only Narai. 2. Why removing Narai if the bugs can be fixed "offline" and then just patched, like any other bug in WOWs or any other game for that matter? 3. Why such decision hasn't been announced properly in the dev blog post or on some other relevant place? 4. If you were to ask players if they want Narai in it's current state (bugged but working) or removed... what do you think the answer would be? You can check the previous page and find the answer within reactions to your post and my post pointing exactly this.

LOL russian cruisers split coming next
Afghanicus replied to koliber_1984's topic in General Discussion
They were Russians from the beginning and they didn't care much about the Soviet lines. Now that the numbers on the RU server are dropping, they are trying to win the RU player-base over. -

WAIT WUT!??? "First of all, we thank you for your feedback and suggestions. While moving Unique Upgrades to Research Bureau is a necessary step to evolve this system, we decided to prolong the existing Unique Upgrades missions for the whole year 2020. That means that you have plenty of time complete them at reasonable pace without the fear of loosing already received progress." -
British Cruisers: Obtain Cruiser London
Afghanicus replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
That is a fact. However, I'm afraid WG is losing the balance between their profits and the enjoyment of the player-base. And someone should remind them that those two things are more related than they think or their spreadsheets are saying. -
Well, that's gotta be one of the worst suggestions I've heard in a while. Or ever.

Afghanicus replied to koliber_1984's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, that explains a lot. It does NOT justify the RU bias though. Maybe they are planning to lure the RU player-base and then nerf them once the numbers recover but in the near future WOWs is bound for some REEL BALANS COMRAD. -
Hang on, I thought the point was to get us to play _more_ mid tiers?
Afghanicus replied to Uglesett's topic in General Discussion
What? UUs will be in the Armory, sold for RB points. That's been confirmed already. Maybe not the details as to how much it will cost, how many will be available and when but that aspect of how they will be obtained... yes. -
About those operations we are missing and a suggestion.
Afghanicus replied to Otowi's topic in General Discussion
@MrConway First of all, we all know you have nothing to do with this decision and nobody is attacking you. But you are a CM who is channeling WG's decision to us players and the player-base's acceptance or refusal of those, back to WG. Just to make things clear as I can notice that you're ignoring my valid and constructive feedback and I do hope that your personal issues with me won't interfere with your professional job that you're paid for. Alright... then I'll ask again... And hopefully this time you won't ignore the valid question. Removing one operation (while the others suffer from the same issue) just to fix the bugs (which can be fixed offline, without removing the operation at all) does NOT make any sense at all. And I'm sure you're aware of this as we all are. There is a petition thread, opened 4 hours ago that 70+ players voted on already. And there will be many others. Does that mean anything to WG? Is the opinion of the players important or even relevant to WG??? -

Afghanicus replied to Otowi's topic in General Discussion
Again... why don't they say so? Why aren't their honest, transparent and straight forward about it, for ONCE? Instead of manipulating us with lies and pretending that the issue is something else? P.S. Many players (myself included) do farm freeXP in operations. But removing them won't make me (or any of those players) use doubloons to gather freeXP. So their way of forcing players to do what they want, how they want and when they want will once again backfire at them and then they will be all surprised as to why it happened. I don't know if it's stupidity or blindness. -
Yes, WG is saying that but we all know everything that WG said and then turned out to be "slightly different". No need to list examples, there have been quite a few only on the last few months.

Well, guess what... they didn't even need to put much time/resources/effort in the operations. I mean yes... we would like more operations and improved current ones but even staying as they were it was fine for most players. But instead, they chose to break them all (with bugged autopilot) and now they start removing them.

British Cruisers: Obtain Cruiser London
Afghanicus replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
I don't know the requirements of the missions/directives so I can't comment on that yet. But I will never approve events based on loot boxes and gambling along with rewards (such as legendary captain) with a short time-limit. That's a NO NO in my book. -
First they start removing the operations players are enjoying the most, leaving only Narai from the 'popular ones'. Then they (intentionally or not) break all operations with the bugged autopilot and other issues. Then they decide on a very short-notice (2 days only, with no announcement at all) to remove Narai. Well, according to them temporarily but we all know all the broken promises from WG and how trustful they are, don't we? Also... this perfectly illustrated the issue and how WG handles it... Along with the reactions to both posts. (in case @MrConway missed it or tries to ignore it) And a link to the post(s) in case you want to contribute with your reaction...

Good point. Seems like WG wants to push everyone into PvP only. Including new players who have no idea how anything works. That's bound for some "improved" player-base and their experience in random battles.
-
Here are just a few "Raptor Rescue" threads regarding the same issue with the autpilot... Just a few among many and just another operation among all others suffering from the same issue.
-
We all know PvE is not a priority. We all know there are many way more significant bugs and issues with WOWs. But that doesn't change the fact that removing Narai is a nonsense that can't be justified by something like "we're removing it in order to fix it". Raise a half who believe in that BS. Nobody? I though so.

Afghanicus replied to Otowi's topic in General Discussion
I agree with you but I'd quote myself regarding that once again... -
Well, it's been sitting there in the Dockyard for quite some time now. I mean it's not like you can do anything about the build except pay doubloons to finish it but 'tomorrow' they'll say that the ship has been in the port for months and months instead of the truth that you had like 20 days to build it (read: insanely grind it).
