It works.....minor gripe, had to reinstall all mods as it had forgotten them. So karma neutral for WG from me lol: -1 for the original erroneous announcement of ceasing support +1 for speedy resolution (whatever that was).

Well that's good news if true (forgive my scepticism until I log in and check that it works with no nasty surprises). Having thrown a good portion of your playerbase into a tizzy you might want to review your comms procedures to make sure such 'erroneous' announcements aren't made in the future (there does seem to be form for 'miscommunications')

So to summarise.....WG is cutting steam support for Mod Station at short notice with no reasons given. There may be a solution if we install WarGaming Centre but having done that it will not recognise and iimport the steam installation: that leaves logging in to WG Centre with steam account and downloading a new install of the game and hoping that that recognises our existing Steam accounts with all that that it contains. Two questions 1) In what way is this progress and in line with the much trumpetted WG roadmap (transparency blah blah) 2) IS WG actively seeking to disadvantage Steam players by denying us access to Mods and if so is this a portent of WGs attitude to Steam players in general.....ie we are expendable (bear in mind what happened to Mac players) I have a bad feeling about this......

erm...check Norman Friedman's British Cruisers. Johns is more real than the Cruisers are: he was a designer in the Cruiser Section of the DNC. I'm not sure how far the paper design of Drake or Goliath actually progressed as Id on't have the book to hand at the moment, could mean anything from a staff requirement to a sketch in his working notebooks to a fully reliased design in all but details.

Please keep this mode: its fun: the peace or no peace adds an extra dimension to it. Rewards aren't bad: coal is always useful and whats not to like about free perma camos? Also its a good learning curve for a noob like me when divved up with one of the contributors above (will spare their blushes but you know who you are) Mog
