On October 11th @MatroseFuchs posted the above earlier in this thread soooooo, fingers crossed when the new update is released that score timer will make an unlikely comeback - tbh, I wanna see it before I believe it.....

What exactly are you supposed to learn/grind/farm in Co op in 4 mins and 9 sec?
ZeuSueZ1337 replied to SeaWolf7's topic in General Discussion
Coop is mislabelled. Random Battles are more coop than Coop Battles, cause there players need to cooperate to reach a common goal. Coop Battles however have become toxic. There is no need to cooperate cause a win nowadays is pretty much given. Players compete over who can farm the most XP. It's by definition a PvP mode. You even get reported for "going over your allotment". I remember early coop atmosphere was very friendly and appreciative. People would F10 and F12 a lot, give compliments. Now it's a rush for the buffet. It also becomes increasingly toxic on high tiers, cause the service cost in sum is higher than the value that can be earned from killing the bots. A high tier game has 1-3 winners and 6 players who lose credits. The irony is that this design promotes adverse selection. Players who are bad in coop can't earn credits anymore. As a result they switch to high tier Random Battles, where they are as useless as a second rectum for their team. How to solve Coop? Easy. Make it asymmetric. Put in 12 bots or even more. Use the number of bots to balance the game mode down to a 50% winrate. The increased number of bots will also increase the earnings on credits and XP. In a balanced Coop maybe a super-unicum level will finally be an achievement. This pretty much sums up my experience and also why Pablo Yol0 is my number 1 co-op go-to lollipop boat. Usually I can get a couple of kills in thus completing whatever mission I'm trying to complete before I'm sleeping with the fishes. And the observations about shovelling co-op's into randoms with all that follows of toxic chat/being told off etc. and the catastrophically lack of game sense due to the fact that the game unfolds quite differently in random than co-op is a train wreck to say the least. Asymmetry (like those test combat modes seen previously) actually could be a way to solve/balance the co-op mode? -
All other things being even; imho, the removal of captain skill "fire prevention" for cruisers have proven catastrophic, since you're basically a floating bbq playing a cruiser these days....

Is anybody besides me playing only brawls to seek refuge from subs?
ZeuSueZ1337 replied to Cippalippus's topic in General Discussion
Amen! But OT I find brawls quick, dirty and funny. Finally found usage for my Austin (sry to MN DD pilots who bombrush us, not to find the other DD but a SAP-Gatling) hell'o fun -
.....Jaysuz. Titty. F******. Christ!!11 As I remember North Carolina or Bismarck was my first t8 bb. And I believe I had Edinburgh as my sole t8 at that time. Boy I'm glad I grinded it out instead opting for the whale-approach. I can't even begin to understand how frustrating is has to be sitting on your shinning gamer-rig and just getting obliterated whilst faffing around trying to understand mechanics.

Player pool, on EU-server at least, usually peaks at around 30k, so even though I love the idea (thus being able to play w.o. "Balansgrad", Smolensk, Slava, etc.) I simply don't think the player pool are large enough to accommodate such narrow battle formats. Unfortunately.....

Best Bismarck Modules and Captain Skills in 2021
ZeuSueZ1337 replied to TheDudeAbidesForever's topic in General Discussion
Having played a fair bit *cough* waaay to much *cough* Bismarck before turning DD-main my points would be as follows: A.) Do you prefer meme-style 2nd play with the risk of going down fast after taking 1-2-3 ships down perhaps even sunk em'? or B.) Do you value surviving long into the match being amongst the last once standing? Your answer to this question really gives the answer to the initial question, i.e.: Playstyle-A you need to be a fire breathing 2nd build* full on whilst playstyle-B you need survivability** 2tm. For me personally I'd prefer yolo-2nd-build 4tw but I understand if this doesn't appeal to you. *) 2nd build, red is imho mandatory - orange is next in line, skill wise **) Survivability build, red is imho mandatory - orange is next in line, skill wise My two cents. -
+1!

Ez; G-u-l-a-g. Now off you go, spreadsheet said "yes"

All other things being equal this is a textbook example of "customer care" (lulz, ikr) gone catastrophically wrong; 1.) For starters you make a hash about the Moskva and players aren't gettin' the perma camo for Nevsky when the spilt happened at year ago or so. Players with the perma camo was sort of unhappy about that. 2.) Then you alter the policy with respect to Khabarovsk and GK being turned into the same kind of "special ship" category as Moskva, such that players having a perma camo for either gets it on the replacement ships, players nod pleasant at this. 3.) Due to this policy you decide to credit Nevsky perma camo owners according to this policy change to keep uniformity retrospectively 4.) Then you go on and by presumable a human error credit all players who had the Nevsky at the time with the perma camo [Big note; players (veterans in particularly veterans) are H-A-P-P-Y with this! 5.) A few days go by, and players whom didn't have the perma camo (including this signature) voices the oddity about having gotten the perma camo when the consensus is that its an error, but redirecting back to the previous paragraph the mood on the forums etc. seem reluctantly to be that WG has acknowledge an error an thus been friendly in adding it to all Nevsky owners. 6.)10 minutes ago " oh noes, we have given the pleps free stuff by mistake, quick retract it. Spreadsheet says да - they wont notice...." I don't care that you've retracted it. I don't play Nevsky. But you just made it crystal clear to everyone even remotely in doubt that you give zero f**** about your player base and customers as long as they are willing to fork over dollari to your operation. To be fair this is NOT shady business practice regardless what some might say, but its a clear demonstration of not understanding how to treat your customers when you, the company, made the error. I'll point to a comment I made less than 24 hours ago, for the "lulz"........

+1 for getting Moskva prior to tech-tree change but w.o. any sort of perma camo. And it appears that I for now have it in my inventory.....however I expect it to be rescinded once they бюджетный отдел identifies the error, and then I persume to be send to gulag

Yugu is (still) a gem, forgotten by some but treasured by others. A lvl 14+ captain, full on torp/stealth build and TRB can wreck havoc on any team. And if nothing else (matters, ba-dum-tsch), then that kind of playstyle will instil a phenomenal instinct as to NOT being detected and going unnoticed by planes. This will without a doubt come in handy in all other branches playing DD's even though for some branches (MN & CCCP in particular) it's not as important as with say the IJN branch.

Developer Bulletin Update 10.10: Initial Comments
ZeuSueZ1337 replied to Aethervoxx's topic in General Discussion
Supah ships! Time to dust off Somers, Shima etc. However the super DD and CL/CA makes me worry a bit. More important tho (I'm phat-l00t kind'da guy) it seems we have to dust off snowflakes already starting in November? Aren't 0.10.10 scheduled (+/-) for release early November? Was hoping this to be a x-mas kind of grind.... Mostly I'm in it for the expected steel (75 for each t8&t9 still ?) rewards. The santa-crates are nice but it's not a priority atm. The arms race tho, pity :( bUt tHe PlEbS....sorry - plaYeRs, WaNt MoRe ArCaDe?! (doubt it) -
Passive sonar captain skill or module for DD's and cruisers
ZeuSueZ1337 replied to Mad_Dog_Dante's topic in General Discussion
This might be more on the point than I'm willing to admit. Regardless great idea and a bit OT to all (so far) in this thread, the level of useful inputs and positivity in the midst of it all deserves a recognition.- 47 replies

Passive sonar captain skill or module for DD's and cruisers
ZeuSueZ1337 replied to Mad_Dog_Dante's topic in General Discussion
The idea with the skill being either integrated with the skill formerly known as RPF or a separate one is one I really like because it in essence would become "passive" and this would to some/a large extend provide a tool to counter what some experience as a game-wrecking class, the subs. However knowing WG (sort of xD) an adjusted suggestion would be to add the described effect into a consumable - preferably into a slot of its own. That way the effect could be different from branch to branch and from nation to nation (think smoke, hydro, radar etc.) thus - in theory - being more specific due to the adjustment on the consumable of a given class/branch/nation, and that way giving the respective classes/branches/nations the edge they need to become even/competitive against subs. My two cents.- 47 replies

twitch KotS 13 Weekend 1 Mission not advancing
ZeuSueZ1337 replied to luokailk's topic in General Discussion
Works likes a charm so it's at your end, so: - make sure you're streaming a current and not a former cc/wows streamer (say Flambass for an example, then it's going nowhere) and - given the last few days Twitch debacle regarding the hack, IF you have updated your Twitch password then go to "account management" on WoWs and unlink and then re-link Twitch. Then refresh Twitch-stream. Job done.
