    gute Frage.. aus dem Bauch raus bei etwa 50% der Spiele mindestens ein Carrier, wobei ich natürlich versuche, zu vermeiden, dessen Flugzeugen zu begegnen. Ehrlicherweise hab ich nicht peinlich genau mitgezählt, allerdings ist es häufiger als bisher, da sowohl max. Flugzeugabschüsse, als auch Durchschnitt deutlich nach oben abweichen: edit: wobei man sagen muss, dass das mit den Flugzeugabschüssen zwar im Schnitt wenig aussieht, allerdings relativ gesehen ein Vielfaches darstellt. Hatte eben ein Akatsuki Spiel mit 2 gegnerischen CVs wo ich auch nur 2 Flugzeuge vom Himmel geholt hab, obwohl ich ziemlich im Fokus stand als einziger DD in meinem Team. Will sagen, die 1,52 im Schnitt implizieren wesentlich mehr Carrier-Begegnungen als man denken mag. Deren Stärke schaue ich allerdings nie nach und irgendwelche Mods wie Matchmaking-Monitor oder was auch immer nutze ich nicht - spiele vanilla

    Well, if pay to win means a ship in an average (or better) players hands, who doesn't act completely absurd, shifts the edge to win to your team longterm.. The only ship actually on sale I would consider this to be is Lo Yang - even more if it's a CV-less game. All other ships needs some skill to handle them well while Lo Yang can make an average player a reduced risk cap contender and smoke#hydro would shift the edge in most encounters with other dds to the Lo. On the long run the team with Lo gets more caps, gets edge on DDs and wins more often if most other parameters equal each other on the long run.

    Danke Hatte es im englischen Board geschrieben, ist ein (zumindest im Random) DD only Account um ne Wette zu gewinnen, dass es auch in der aktuellen Meta möglich ist, zu performe und das Leaderboard zu knacken. Außerdem kann man damit anonym zwanglos bissel daddeln ohne dass Clan/Freunde nach ner Divi schreien . Mit dem ersten bin ich grad im Sabbatical, lol. Stimmt schon, im Optimalfall vermeidet man aufzugehen im DD. Allerdings ist das lately bei teilweise 2 gegnerischen CVs nahezu unmöglich wenn man irgendwie was beitragen will zum Spiel. Ich mags auch nicht abseits des Spiels zu kiten oder 2nd row Torps zu spammen. Ich spiel die DDs immer relativ aggressiv, aber überwiegend mit der notwendigen Übersicht und eine Exit-Strategie. Wenn dann die CVs doch mal relativ penetrant sind, weil sie erkannt haben, dass man eventuell ein Faktor im Spiel ist, gehts überraschend gut, dort auch einige der Vögel runterzuholen. Früher war es total abwegig mit einem IJN DD im Torp/Stealth-Setup 19 Flugzeuge abzuschiessen. Aktuell passiert mir das regelmäßig mal, dass ich 15 +- 3 Flugzeuge vom Himmel hole ohne wirklich AA zu haben. Früher war es aber auch so, dass jeder CV, der wusste, was er tat, Dich zerlegt hat in einem DD - da konnte man nichts gegen tun wenn er Dich allein erwischt hat. Daran hat sich nichts geändert. Ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber wenn man sich drauf einlässt und etwas beobachtet, kann man ganz gut auf die neue Meta adaptieren - wenn man merkt, der gegnerische CV weiß, was er tut, muss man dann halt vermeiden gesehen zu werden oder während seiner reloads sneaken und sich dann wieder zurückziehen.

    aaaaargh.. Fubuki: 2nd place is first loser Couldn't outplay the divisional winrate included in the rating of rank 1 in my solo play (yet) On Kagero and Yugumo it was much easier to get rank 1 - might be divisions won't be that much of a factor in higher tiers .

    Yep, that‘s always useful. Be nice, wish some fun and/or luck, tell where you head to and why and midgame tell some teammates (probably) in tunnelvision if they get flanked or where and when to push or hold their situation static and mostly it‘s fine.. problem is: to do this you gotta have your own position and situation under control plus enough experience/ability to read the whole game and everyone elses position and situation. most players won‘t be able to do this due to several reasons.. besides: communication is always useful, that’s right, if it‘s objective (and not insulting) and if one can rely on that there are actions following the words

    Lets be positive, for a change

    Like many others I started with WoT and got stuck here after realizing that 1. the community is way less toxic 2. WoWs is more tactical and provides me a gameplay where I can act more strategic than action-based. 3. It suits my age better than 4 minute aggro-action games in WoT where I asked myself afterwards what happened and why.. Basically I play this game for two reasons: Some mental compensation for my work-work balance and because the game provides me an environment where I can challenge myself and check if, how and till which point I can get better. I don‘t care too much about historical issues and ships, but I honestly appreciate the knowledge I got about both as a bycatch while playing. If it wasn‘t fun most of the time, I wouldn‘t be here anymore..

    simple answer: no reroll - rr would still be possible, but I'd be dumb to let delete the world record on Kagero it's my 2nd account for doing some dd only in randoms where i can act free from clan restrictions and stuff.. had an argument with some guys, that it's still easy to shred some stats-records on DDs even in the current situation - just adapt - and proved it. I play this game since 5 years and went through all the reworks - especially when stealth firing for DDs was removed, one was forced to adept.. I've seen so many discussions - first major discussion I remember was the rework for CVs when Midway was nerfed (2015 i guess) many years ago and afterwards Haku was OP. That old Midway was the last time I played CV According to getting tier X in less than 100 random games: If you know what u gotta do and which benefits (WG provides) you gotta use, it's easy to speed through the techtrees. Start on X-mas. Invest a bit into Xmas Containers then u got doublons, ships, flags, premium, camos, sometimes 5k or 10k free exp. head on and play a bit Coop (61), Mission of the week, play ranks (crappy 306), where you level captains, gain free and captain EXP, collect flags, camos, credits and bonusses.. Had games (even posted somewhere) with 30k Free Exp and over 70k Captains Exp.. ain't a big deal with some focus. Didn't exchange any free exp for money.. still all exp on the ships and plenty of Captains Exp available: most important thing: It's only a game, play it for whatever reason provides you some fun.. anything else ain't important.. good luck!

    Wie auch schon im englischen Board ausführlich geschrieben: man muss sich auf die Gegebenheiten anpassen, dann ist es überhaupt kein Problem, als DD zu bestehen. Wer dazu nicht in der Lage ist, war es vorher auch schon nicht und wird es bei anhaltender Lernresistenz weiterhin nicht sein. Wer in der Lage ist, auf die Minimap zu schauen, nicht im Tunneblick unterwegs zu sein und ein Minimum an Fähigkeit hat, die Spielsituation vorausschauend bewerten zu können, der wird ich sukzessive anpassen können und seinen Spaßfaktor erhöhen. Am Ende ist es nur ein Spiel und mit etwas Bereitschaft zu lernen und etwas weniger Engstirnigkeit kann man da auch Spaß haben. Den Nachweis, dass das DD-Spiel nicht zerstört ist, gibts hier:

    I wrote it a bit misunderstanding. I meant with 2 enemy CVs the own torps are spotted most likely permanently like oneself is - so oneself is more uneffective and has to adapt as a DD.

    Just proved my statement.. new baseline for Yugumo after the new Kagero Baseline - best worldwide and better than the Shimi Baseline btw That's new Baselines for Tier 8 and Tier 9 in the probably most affected DD line by recent (and every upcoming) changes. Though i got to admit, that games with 2 enemy CVs are pretty tough to handle. With all the torps und oneself being spotted it takes some more adjustments in gameplay. Good luck to all the DDs out there and remember - nothing gets eaten as hot as it gets cooked...

    Update 0.8.1 - General Feedback

    Feedback on Map Reworks mmh.. if you rework maps, make sure that you render them correctly and make the borders, where one would beach, obvious. Beaching in that position is totally unobvious. now i know it - for sure - but it would had been nice to see the borders without try and error.
  14. Don't get me wrong. I'm the last one to critizise sb to spend money for this game. What I meant is, there are smart ways to do it and there are not so smart ways. Assuming one plays from time to time anyway, exchanging into free EXP ain't smart - plus you gotta have played - otherwise you won't be able to exchange. Even as a new player you have many options to accumulate flags without (invite a friend code, several bonus codes provided by good people in this board, ranked with all the rank-bonusses, missions, arsenal directly or for containers with special flags, 3 daily containers) or with spending money ( X-mas Containers for Ouroboros, bycatch would be some directly free EXP, Premium time or Ships). Adding WGs guilty conscience lately with several 100%/200 % first win and the possibility to earn special camos with e.g. +400% (still have 17 of those free Mosaik-Camos) it is easily possible to get those 750k free EXP within 50 games at an average game performance. If you do it a bit more relaxed (my choice) not caring too much about maximising the output of flag/camo/first win bonus, it takes you around 100 games. That's like 3 weeks for a casual player with 5 games a day. As an example I attached 2 Musashi games from one day in ranked (and I'm honestly an average BB player, thats why I only do that besides random) which gave 53,5 k Free Exp (one was first win +100%) as an example without maximising the Free Exp output, because I needed the Captains Exp more. Unluckily I have the full summary of Exp only for the 2nd game. Wargaming has so many (free) offers, if one uses them, one will never lack of Credits, Free Exp or anything at a minimum invest if one thinks over it and does it the smart way.
  15. Dumb move to convert into free exp with money anyway. One just gets some special flags over containers or missions and play some games and it’s fine: got 400 games on this account and already have musashi plus 1,4 million free exp without any conversion of exp to free exp.. I had games with 20k free exp, so it‘s absolut nonsens to convert. WG shits EXP and Credits on you if one uses the options they offer..

    Yep, indeed they both are, while Gearing is even worse when you are used to Fletcher. Shima aint that stiff, but worse than Yugumo. My personal experience is, that my output and contribution to the game are much better on the both tier 9 ships plus it feels much better as I sneak and contest mostly. If one plays Shimi and Gearing 2nd Line and kites, it wont be that much of a problem, but still it's a major difference in handling. Thats why I also dont feel comfortable with Kitakaze - it's pretty much like Gearing regarding agility. Have fun m8

    especially when it comes to DDs, there are at least two tier 9 DDs that are more usefull than their tier 10 sisters - even when matched into tier 10 games.. I'll always rate Yugumo (no smoke, trb, agility) over Shima and Fletcher (agility) over Gearing..

    well.. situation changed but its like before: read the game, adept to the position wg or the game situation puts you in and everyhing is fine.. has been the same with smoke rework, with stealth firing rework and will be the same with all the reworks and adjustments to come. for example.. still easily possible to shred the stats records world wide on ijn DDs where everybody says IJN DDs are weak, their torpedos are weak and DDs are outplayed by CVs or whatever big fuss is made on DDs these days..

    well.. I tried to carry Unluckily CVs focus on sepnding damage only these days and are unable to cover the air however. But at least it's obvious that DD play ain't broken - even with being spotted all game in a non smoke setup. Just got to adept a bit and shred some planes while being perma-spotted.

    Ranked ist ganz schön nervig.. die Erkentnnis der aktuellen Saison ist, dass man nicht teamdienlich spielen darf um durchzukommen. Spielt man teamdienlich DD und die Teammates covern nicht, ist es gelaufen.. spielt man teamdienlich BB und die DDs spielen dämlich wie so oft, ist es gelaufen. Und sowieso gibts immer einen Vollidioten, der entweder direkt suiciden geht oder die erste Hälfte des Spiels out of game camped bis es zu spät und gelaufen ist.. Einzige nicht nervenaufreibende Variante ist irgendwas an Winrate zwischen 50-60 % in Kauf zu nehmen, absolut egoistisch zu spielen und dann step by step 1 win, 1 keep the star, 1 win, 1 keep the star.. Eigentlich [edited], aber bei so vielen Vollidioten die einzig sinnvolle Variante.. mach ich dann ab jetzt auch.

    the ones that were able to use their cvs properly could easily kill DDs already before.. so in fact nothing changed on the other side it's the same situation: people that were able to handle their DDs before, are able to adapt and will be able to deal with the changes properly. people who weren't before, aren't able afterwards... you could draw a line to the smoke situation, stealth firing situation or every major change before.. the discussions were intense, but in fact afterwards nothing really changed.. sailors were able to handle their ships or weren't - before and after the change... and if you take into consideration that stats and outputs on DDs didn't decrease after those heavily discussed major changes that were supposed to destroy DD gameplay several times.... adding the perception that not 5 % of the playerbase are able to handle their cvs or dds properly and not 1 % of the playerbase could be considered really good at those classes,... well make your own conclusion. nothing gets eaten as hot as it gets cooked and i bet if you look into the numbers in half a year, you won't see significant changes on all outputs and efforts regarding the DD-CV relationships.
