WG never freely and willingly admits It screwed up, and the question will they declare this new mode a success will only have one answer ; yes. Take subs as a prime example widely despised by the gaming majority but adored and considered a huge success by WG, I played it once using mines with a cv I’ve never heard of it was a win but I’ll never play the mode again. It’s yet another nail in the coffin of DDs but give it time, as with hybrid bbs I can see the new cvs becoming a regular fixture. Not for me WG !!.

I'm actually going to PRAISE WG for a change, I have to say that the MM in ranked the last 2 days or so has been as it should be; a prime example is this (see screenshots). Cruisers and DD's AND "NO" annoying Subs or Cv's, and yes a lot of Radar, par for the case sadly; Hide behind an Island and pop radar hence the sheer amount of US/USSR cruisers, it does reveal predictable bad players but at least you don't have a sub or cv spotting you. A while ago I asked about Vampire and Daring, having had both for a while I have to admit I much prefer Daring, I had considered it a defensive DD, but I got that completely wrong (that's called honesty WG ;-). It's a great DD.

Warships, especially REAL Historical ones.

Shiny horse is a must buy. Duke of Yuck is a gimped KGV, Hood is a great cruiser killer but it has a very slow reload and has no torps (unlike the real one). That said Gneis is just as good as shiny and it’s free (only real difference ; slower reload but harder hitting guns vs quicker firing lower caliber guns. I had a kraken in gneis within a day of getting in, I’ve had Shiny in over 4 years and never had a kraken in it. Like wise I do better in Bismarck than Tirpitz.

MM at its finest again, dd gets into cap and hides behind island Slow bb gets to cap can’t catch dd = loss, or Salem/non Torp cruiser meets schlieff, it should be like for like, there was only two of such games me in hindy vs Mino, it was close (solely becuase my LM hindy with 14km detection vs Minos <10km), he spammed away I just citadelled away. The second game I was in a radar YY vs a Shimi, boy did I feel sorry for him, he just gave up when I started the radar (he melted). it’s another mode that could be great but WG have screwed it up. this is a mode where not all botes are balanced / equal.

This isn’t going to be predictable in the slightest and the point of it ?. And what will it actually change ?, will WG finally think oops we screwed up AGAIN and step backwards 🤣😂🤣😂🤣. Subs and Cvs are hated for very good reasons, and that ain’t gonna change.

Daring is a defensive DD with poor concealment and given the amount of Radar present torps are short ranged. Good stealth and long range torps increase survivability no end especially in a radar Rich environment, I play gearing, YY, Sherman, Shimi and Vampire 2 in ranked, Hallands also a good fit if a cv is in game

Disconnections, very high pings and such like have been a Bain for a long time and usually coincide with an update. Prior to the previous update (playing the same bote having died etc previously while the game was going on), my afks were non existent, after they jumped to 2/3 a day. I did a check and validated my game file thru steam as I usually do, which I suggest you also do (if played the steam), however despite there being no afks bugs and disconnection remain, eg whilst at a key moment in a game a message flashed up that a player had been removed from my blacklist , the game disconnected, I did get back into the game and the usual warning (leaving a game), popped up, so clearly WG still has issues (a lot).

It’s a nice touch, I must be ill paying WG a compliment 😱.

Convoy mode used to be fun it’s now like co ops charge in and blap away , yet another good thing WG managed to screw up 🙄.

Brit cvs are frustrating and imho handicapped reliant on fires, US are more diverse doing a lot of damage, personally I think IGN have the best carriers.

As a company I think WG is a greedy bone ideal, arrogant money grabbing organisation with zero care or interest in its player base, it’s all about greed and not about fun, enjoyment and balanced organised game play, we all know what the issues are, and for whatever reason be it by accident or intentional they do sweet fa about it, The Top man dictates what he wants, clearly with a strong Russian biase and the rest play along like doting sheep, will things change ?, NO. I’m sure there’s a lot of good dedicated people at WG who in principal agree with us but have to toe the official line, until people stop playing or staff up arms nothing will change, who ever is in charge they clearly only have money in mind and are doing a tremendous job in ruining what is essentially a great game. But like a lot of bosses there head so far up their arse they cannot see the problem, normally themself !.

Stay closer to your team mates Harag is a great gunboat but it’s not a ninja, at T10 nearly every DD has better concealment and you probably don’t turn AA off either, go Torp botes for better concealment or Halland etc for anti Cv.

Just 3 games today; 2 ranked 1 co-op, top of team all 3 games, won 2 lost 1 but no decline in rank. Why am I posting; ti pay homage to a truly clueless player in the first game, after a lot of effort by me in killing 3 reds, green DD player like a total noob out of kindergarten blew it big time, With the teams down to 2 a piece (me in Cossack) and muppet in Jutland vs a Vittorio Veneto and a Jutland, I don’t know why but muppet was on the map edge I had to kill the Jutland in order to get a result I did so but got killed in the process, by this time the bb had got into the cap, Jutland couldn’t Torp very well and when Vittorio Veneto went into smoke Jutland ran away and when the bb went behind a small island Jutland got within 2.8km and went in the same direction as the BB and the direction the BB player would have noticed, out popped Jutland ; blap went BB, 2 things here Jutland should have Torp charged when BB first blew smoke, secondly he should’ve gone right at the island to enable Torpping BB in the arse, so once again if it’s not WG’s shite MM its brain dead idiots that ruin the game.

Depends on what floats you’re boat 😉, be it DD, Cruiser or BB etc, me personally it would be Ragnar, and for me FDG is better than Pommern.

And here's the last game of the night, another top place and yet more total muppets who ain't got a friggin clue !,

First game today, another great personal game, 4 kills and contact with all 6 opponents in Brawl, someone said about Brandenburg's secondaries ???, they're nothing. Schlieff has probably the best, but Pruessen and others are very close behind. Some will stay say this was NOT a carry, ROFL.

The last game of the night, wow it doesn't get any better does it ?, top again, but this game is solely remembered because of the dog shite smaland player, talk about utter GUTLESS, he hid behind others made no attempt to cap, spot or doing anything aggressive, If you want to know the meaning of USELESS, WIMP, CLUELESS, COWARD, A HOLE look up the SMALAND player, an AFK player would do more, night peeps, and WELL DONE WG, on screwing up your own creation !!.

Another day, another day of WG inspired screw ups, just one game so far and it highlights how inept, dire, AND unfit for purpose MM is, please see screenshots, one team had 2 dd's and a radar ship, the other LOSING team had zero DD's and no AUTO radar ships. Once again I kicked the shite out of the top 2 players and was sole survivor, despite only just getting YODO, oh and because of WG's new policy afk's are far more likely, so many congrats WG on screwing up even more.

Afks will only increase as a result of WG’s patches / updates, previously if there was a connection issue (couldn’t possibly be anything to do it WG 😏), I could always restart the game and get in and within seconds, since the change you cannot get back in to the game until the battle has ended, as a result a delayed start will now become an AFK, once again the gamer is penalised by WG incompetence in its desire to correct but totally screw up something that wasn’t already broken, I.e, cvs, commander skills, camo’s and flags etc,etc,etc.

WG will do all they can to promote subs and finishing bottom of the final standings is not good PR. So what do you think WG will do about it 🤔.

Drop airstrike (noob DD spotters), and hydro when near DD areas I do run concealment (Odin has 12km), because the closer to secondary range the better, I do run IFHE because whilst fire chance is reduced FDG pumps out enough to counter act the reduction while doing more he damage which does hurt DD’s and cruisers. German bbs are very combustible so build for it.

I did the last one so I could grind and re research in order to get vampire 2. IMHO this isn’t worth it this time around, eg. the crates aren’t worth diddly anymore ; 3/4/5 special crates 😂😂, and that gives you 🤔. Save your money for something better 😉.

Play Ranked (top tier), FDG is a blast and T8’s also have fun, Cossack is a blast 😉.
