I`m quite a bit better than you as a player in general and as a DD player. And I don`t think that playing DDs is any fun against CV. I`ll rather trust my own observations regarding balance, thank you. Why I don`t play CV: Because this is a ship game. I want to shoot guns instead of flying airplanes.

Simple question: Is there a class that is fun to play against a CV?

Ist halt Premium-MM à la WG. Weiß ehrlich gesagt gar nicht, wofür die Ligen gut sein sollen. Man sollte ja eigentlich meinen, dass Ranked dafür steht, dass es endlich mal adäquates MM gibt, bzw. zumindest den Versuch. Aber es ist noch viel schlimmer als Zufallsgefechte, wenn ich ehrlich bin.

Du kannst natürlich auch mit 0 dmg rausgehen, wenn du es gar nicht versuchst. Beachte bitte, dass der Gegner nicht ein Schiff verloren hat. Willkommen bei WoWs, mit dem besten MM der Welt.

Das hört sich jetzt aber nicht danach an, dass diese Vertragsspieler schon nach 2 Minuten ihren Kopf aufs Keyboard schlagen und Alt+F4 drücken wollten.

Und das könnte ja unter Umständen daran liegen, dass das DOTA 2 besser designte und ausgereiftere Produkt ist, anstatt halbgare Mechaniken zu veröffentlichen (z.B. RTS-Carrier), einen halbgaren Push in Richtung E-Sports zu machen, der aufgrund mangelhafter Balance auf die Fresse flog, etc. Darum ging es mir. Aber manche Leute halt so arrogant, dass sie anderen Leuten das Offensichtliche zu erklären versuchen, ohne überhaupt das Argument verstanden zu haben.

Man verliert in DOTA 2 5 Spiele in Folge chancenlos? Alle 32 Gefechte? Weil das eigene Team suckt? Sorry, das ist doch Unsinn. Die ganzen 40% Win-Leute, die einem hier jedes Spiel versüßen, kommen da auch niemals in die höheren Tiers.

Könnte natürlich daran liegen, dass DOTA 2 von Anfang an anständiges Design hatte. Schon mal 3 Spiele in Folge dort chancenlos verloren, obwohl du "geownt" hast? Nein? Komisch, oder?

To be honest, that`s not my problem. I paid money enough money for multiple AAA games for this game before and I think that I can reasonably expect to get a fair chance at having fun. What happens to people who deal 20k damage at T10 is not of my concern anymore. That could work, but WG will never do it. Their whole business model is just like that of a gacha game. They are milking people by introducing overpowered units for ludicrous prices, breaking all promises made earlier (no premium above T8, no submarines, etc.). At the same time, they can`t punish bad play, because many of those customers who paid 200 EUR for one pixel ship are not exactly good players. That`s why you can join a game in your T8 ship and have an unpreventable loss due to teammates that get 200 xp in a Petropavlovsk. Or what I witnessed just now: A FdG missing 5 salvoes on a broadsiding Alsace 10km away. Every single salvoe landed short. He could not figure out in 5 salvoes that he should aim higher. Then he loaded HE and - guess what - it landed short again. A good MM should not make you feel powerless to these kinds of external factors so often.

If a yolo edgelord does that regularly, it will show in the stats, i.e. push them down. Therefore, he will not rise. So I don`t see the point there. The amount of bad players at T8-10 is horrible as it is already, I don`t see it become any worse with such a system. What could possible be worse than getting 5-10 game losing streaks and permanent roflstomps, win and lose? I just don`t get the defenders of the current MM. It is obvious that this game operates very similar to a gacha game: they make playing for rewards (e.g. the zf-6) frustrating for people with little time but money so those people spend more than a bit on this game. The whole MM is operating in a way that maximizes frustration. Nothing else. I have never seen such a thing in another game. Never played another game where I felt like "[edited]this" after 2-3 minutes into the game, because I can already see it going south. I would welcome ANY change to the current MM system. But it has become clear to me that WG is not clueless. They are doing it on purpose to milk customers. And that, dear ladies and gentlemen, is just like most gacha games operate. A shame.

Another day in the life of high quality MM made by WG. I will surely recommend this game to friends. But hey, at least the queue time was really short LOL

There simply is no excuse for such "MM". All 3 DDs on my team dead within 3 minutes. One kill on my whole team and 100% of my damage were to DDs, because I had to hunt them in a [edited]BB. If only WG could employ some people who actually can do their jobs properly.

You have to understand that a player can play worse than my golden retriever, i.e. like crap, and nothing happens. But don`t you dare to tell him what you think of him and his performance.

On the contrary, the potatoes are deciding the outcome of the match. The team with more usually loses.

Very likely, since WG is manipulating the MM on different parameters.

And yet he was better than the rest of his team. Let that sink in for a moment.

Another nice match. Thank you WG, I really appreciate you putting every single edited* on my team. Top Tier shops hiding behind the last island at full hp. The tragic part is that the Amagi got 2 kills in the end and now thinks that he is anything but bad. Is that your vison for this game? What a crap company. Edit: insults

By that I meant the company I work at. And yes, if the boss waits for too long, it`s his fault. At least the head dev should have been scrutinized way sooner. But then again, the the management at WG probably is in cahoots with the devs, so they failed as well. We are all aware of that. But doesn`t that just show my point? What they think is good actually fucked it up on the long run. They don`t see how I just log off if I feel that my T7 premium (20-30 EUR) will be bottom tier in the next match anyway. And by that I don`t mean p2w MM should be introduced. Paying and then getting f**** over like that just alienates people even more. To this day they have failed to come up with a solution to this problem. Instead, they made it worse by introducing T10 premiums and T10 premium camos. Who would have thought that this will lead to the MM will being skewed towards T10? I have an excel sheet with almost 1k games. And the rate of being bottom tier is about 60% for T7 and 8. Why should I take WGs words over my own observations and records? ColonelPete may think that is fine, but many paying players will just leave, because they feel cheated. This ist just one example, though. Some of the questionable changes over the past 2-3 years were: - CV rework - OP premiums like Thunderer, Smolensk, etc - Skill rework - introduction of a gacha style container system to milk people with a gambling addiction - T10 premiums and premium camos And the list goes on, these are just the worst. Why I still play the game? Because it`s a good game at its core. And I haven`t let go just yet. But as someone who has been playing it on and off for the past 5 years, I can clearly see the deterioration over the past 2-3 years. And the amount of bots you meet at T4-5 matches ist testament to this.

What time this game was it irrelevant. No MM should do that. Even if you form teams of 4 players per side, you don`t put one div in one and then give them one BB and the other team a cruiser. I have never seen another game with equally shitty MM. Why should I blame low IQ players for doing crap the game should not allow them to do? It`s WGs fault. Who is to blame for the fact that a low IQ brainlet can take out a unicum DD in his brokenly overpowered CV? WG. Nobody else. Next point: Stable numbers in a growing market. Let`s talk more about how to [edited]up your own game. Check out what happens if Apple announces "stable sales numbers" even at an increased revenue. The share price goes down. Like I said, they could have easily doubled the numbers by making competent decisions. Their entire dev team is a) arrogant and b) incompetent. A bad mix. Sorry, but in my company, the entire dev team would be gone by now.

Firstly, they always say that the player numbers are too low for any other form of MM. Secondly, please find my screenshot attached for further reference as to why their incompetence and trash tier MM are depressing player numbers. A 4 player match with a division AND one BB more? Not possible in normal games. But apparently normal for WG. They don`t even understand the connection between both. But perhaps they are ok with it as long as there are enough dumb whales splashing out ridiculous amounts of money for shitty service. Now excuse me, I can`t find words for these devs and anyone supporting them that will not be considered a bannable insult.

Well, my personal guess is that if WG had not fucked up hard, we would have a much higher playing population in this game. They`re blaming the player numbers, which they themselves caused in the first place.

Thanks for giving me such a great time, WG. I really enjoy your high class MM that even a [edited]elementary school student could do better. Do you actually believe that I`ll recommend this game to a single person I don`t hate? Ever wondered why your player numbers keep going down? Best devs in the history of gaming.

Wait, you guys don`t enjoy playing your T8 and then being uptiered to a 90% T10 match where every single T10 BB teammate is pure joy to play with? Because that`s what happens in at least 2/3 of my T8 matches. It also doesn`t help that the devs are liars as my records clearly show that I get 60% bottom tier matches at T8 and 7, which contradicts their official narrative about the whole mechanic. N =500 by now. Hope that none of you is paying this shitfest anymore.

Ich kann nur über jeden lachen, der den Mist überhaupt noch öffnet. Feedback und Umfragen haben 0 Einfluss auf die Entscheidungen bei WG. Hat hier jemand das Gefühl, dass eine Beantwortung jemals etwas gebracht hat? Ich bin mir auch absolut sicher, dass WG diese gesammelten Daten verkauft, anstatt sich damit einfach den Allerwertesten abzuwischen. Datenschutz ist mir dabei eher nicht so wichtig, da ich nichts wichtiges von mir preisgebe. Aber ich arbeite nicht kostenlos. Von daher lösche ich diese Anfragen direkt.
