One could argue that it doesn`t take much to adapt if your aim is low average. On topic: guys, you have it good. I usually have to play when it`s morning to late afternoon in Europe (live in Asia). The level of play is even lower. Defense of Newport is basically impossible then.

Well i can only give my opinion as a pretty decent DD player: The T-61 can do everything well, but not great. The torps do relatively small damage, the guns are quite weak and detection is ok. I like it, because it kinda plays like a mini Z-52. But the Icarus and Fushun are just as strong imo.

T-61 OP? Is that why you are having more damage and significantly more kills in the Fushun? Makes sense, bro.

How about at least slight nerfs at T5, e.g. alpha damage, fire chance, etc. ? I don`t think that most people would mind such smaller changes to at least bring it in line a little bit. I certainly don`t and I have the GC on my other account.

Nein, ich fordere gar nichts. Meine Grundaussage ist, dass CVs mindestens so viel Schaden machen wie Kreuzer. Eher mehr. Und dass es eher unwichtig ist, wie schnell das geschieht, zumal CVs noch andere Vorteile haben.

Jaja, natürlich, eine Klasse, die sich selbst verstecken und dann überall auf der Karte zuschlagen kann, sollte mehr Schaden machen als ein BB, der von DDs gerne mal weggetorpt und von CAs abgefackelt wird. Oder fette Schellen anderer BBs frisst. Ich merke schon, euch gehts nicht ums Balancing. Ihr wollt einfach nur dominieren.

Und da Klasse A (Kreuzer) nur 50% der Zeit im Spiel ist, sollte sie auch nur 50% des Schadens von Klasse B (CV) machen, ja? Natürlich, jeder darf seine eigenen feuchten Träume haben. Tatsache ist, dass CVs Schaden auf mindestens Kreuzer-Niveau machen und dazu noch diverse Vorteile haben. Dass sie für den Schaden länger brauchen ist vielleicht ein Nachteil, der diesen gegenübersteht.

Ich habe auf meinem alten Acc eine Shokaku (und alles darunter), die ich natürlich ausprobiert habe. Dass CVs sich nicht mächtig anfühlen hat nichts mit Buff oder Nerf zu tun. Sie machen halt zumeist keinen dicken Alpha-Schaden mehr, dafür aber andauernd. Alle Statistiken bestätigen meine Aussage, dass CVs bezüglich Balance nicht zu schwach sind.

Selbst die Shokaku - der schwächste T8 CV - hat mehr durchschnittliche Abschüsse und Schaden als fast alle Kreuzer (und hält dort dennoch mit den stärksten mit)?!?! Und das, obwohl die Shokaku erstmal aus dem Nichts angreifen kann, während Kreuzer immer gefährlich leben?? Unspielbar, einfach ein Witz!

Das wurde mir vor ein paar Tagen klar, als ein Spieler (Moskwa, global 53% Win und 1500 WTR) mich als breitseite fahrenden Abfall bezeichnete, nachdem er tot war und fand, dass ich nur Glück hatte. Schließlich hat meine Hindy nur 51% Win (und 1730 WTR, läuft nicht so gut). Da wurde mir klar, wie nutzlos der derzeitige MM Monitor ist. Habe ihn sofort deinstalliert. Zum Thema: DD sind imo im mid tier wieder spielbar. Da machts zumindest wieder Spaß. High tier hab ich seit 0.8 1 nur ein paar Spiele in der Jutland. Die waren gut, aber zu wenige, um da eine Meinung zu haben.

Never playrd clan battles, but based on videos/replays I've watched, I'd guess that CVs would turn the meta into a super camp fest of the likes nobody has ever seen before. Because, despite what some people have stated here, T10 CVs are not weak. The outdamage almost all T10BBs and outspot all DDs.

How about you go back and read my initial posting where I clearly stated that the Conqueror and Bourgogne are the exception. I didn't start talking about the Montana. My point was that T10 CVs outdamage all other BBs while clearly leading in all other metrics. And that they significantly outdamage cruisers and DDs while leading in all other metrics. CVs are not in a bad spot and don't underperform in terms of damage. You guys can try to derail the criticism all you want, that won't change the numbers shown on wows numbers.

So you are comparing a stealth firing ship that relies on other ships for spotting to a CV that does it all by itself? And you call my argument dumb? At least you apologized right away for insulting my intellect. The facts are not incorrect, you just refuse to acknowledge them. Just go to wows numbers and filter T10 CVs for the top 5, 10 or 25% of players, then do the same with BBs. That`s right, the best Montana players deal less damage than the best T10 CV players. If it is balance you want: How come the T10 CVs outdamage all but 2 cruisers (Stalingrad doesn`t count, it`s op and played mostly by unicums)? Wooster, Moskva, Hindenburg, they are all behind in terms of damage. And let`s not start with the DDs. How is it balanced that a player can attack anywhere on the map within mere seconds, spot better than any DD, while being able to hide from enemy vision and out of gun range, and still deal more damage than most ships at the same tier? And if you look at the stats of the top 5, 10 and even 25%, they outdamage all cruisers (including Stalingrad) and most BBs (exceptions: Bourgogne and Conqueror). Same if you look at average numbers for T8: even the weakest CVs in terms of damage (Lexington and Shokaku) outdamage all cruisers and hold up well against most BBs. They are in no way or form underpowered. And even the Lexington outdamages the best damage BBs when you filter for the top 5, 10 and 25%. Only exception is Shokaku, which fails to outdamage the very strongest T8 BBs, but still can secure a top position. Bottom line: at least at T8 and 10 CVs are basically super DDs that scale extremely well with skill and deal BB caliber damage. Yet so many CV players are crying like babies that the class has been nerfed into oblivion and is basically unplayable. Yes, playing ships that are amongst the top damage dealing ships and can attack out of a secure position and are tanky af anyway must be so terrible. What a joke.

Ok, then perhaps doing nothing is the best option. CVs are still ruining games left and right. Can`t wait for them to finally remove that overpowered trash class. And with overpowered I mean that their influence on a match is still way too great.

It is also super fun to be a T6 ship in a game with a T8 CV. The WG devs are really really smart. And just to make sure, I am being sarcastic.

Watch videos from (super-)unicums playing these cruisers on youtube. Flamu, Flambass or TheSailingRobin are 3 examples to start out. Flamu in particular has some nice low tier guides on his channel. Look how and where he is aiming to hit targets. Your aim will improve in no time, it is the quickest thing to improve. The rest comes with time afterwards.

If you get rushed by a DD in any cruiser and you need help to kill it, that means we have a different problem. I am pretty decent at DDs and I never rush cruisers, because even potato cruisers will usually delete me. Your problem seems to be that you did well up until - and including - T5, then performed horribly at T6 and rushed to T7. Go back to at least tier 6 and learn to aim and do damage with that ship. Trust me, no DD will survive rushing you by then. And who the hell are you divisioning with that this is pulling down your stats like crazy??? Your solo stats are actually quite ok.

You know how it is: You play DD = 2CV games back to back. You switch to AA monster = no CVs at all. FML.

How about giving them less average damage than equal tier BBs?

I have played 5 games in a T6 DD today and every single fxxxxxx game I had 1 or 2 CVs on each team. Do you know what`s hard? Playing a DD in this retarded crap meta with perma spotting and every goddamn enemy running away all game. My kills were 100% other DDs, nothing else. All victories. Still zero fun. There is a reason why most ships blop together. And that`s the class you think is too weak. If anything, American CVs need a further nerf.

You can only kill that Shimakaze easily when your CV hides out of range or runs away? That`s unfair. A CV should also be able to push or tank a cap and kill the Shima at the same time! I guess the "not going alone" doesn`t only count for all the other classes. Just some food for thought.
